Rose Smoke

Such an unusual rose. It is similar to Rose Anonyme only slightly, or rather it is like Rose Anonyme deconstructed with all the bells and whistles removed. It is Rose Anonyme naked except for a brand new dress of semitransparent pure smoke. I have no idea how the illusion of smoke was created and I do not want to know. I love the mystery, the allure. The smoke swirls around the rose, licking, tickling and teasing it in and out of existence. Just when I think the rose has evaporated, it reappears from behind the swirling plumes of slow motion smoke. Trying to describe the scent is like trying to hold a teardrop within your fist. Sillage is moderate to mild after the first hour or less but it carries great longevity, a perfume for lovers and intimacy. It is utterly unique and you will likely remember the person who wears it, (should you get close enough to smell them). Be careful, you will be drawn ever closer as you try to capture the scent as it seems to disappear into their very skin. Love, what a rare, inexplicable state of being as well as feeling. It comes and goes like scents on the breeze, but when it blows through our heart we know that is was here all along. It was just that we were looking the other way or trying to capture that which can only ever be free. “The language of roses shifts under our feet. It blows in and out like the wind. A very realistic grandiflora rose with a dark green fougere side.The Guaiac Wood is very aromatic sweet , balsamic, fresh coniferous and warm, has muskyness peppery undertones as expected on a rose scent with patchouli and floral notes shyly blended. A complex rose scent made with high-quality ingredients,made to wear on any occasion, exhudes elegant and it feels very sexy. One of the best rose scents in the market. Good projection and sillage. No cigarette ashes or cloying as commented below by Smellingsalts who has only one review here in Fragrantica and no wardrobe perfumes on his collection,his comment should be deleted. Unisex.10/10

For me, this was a really unpleasant fragrance. I picked up mostly stale cigarette ash, with an overpowered but still cloying rose in the background. I had a little difficulty even getting it to wash off. Not a keeper at all for me.
