Nuda Veritas

Nuda Veritas smells natural and ethereal. Feels like a transparent, pure, delicate and graceful white floral. Luminous and bright. It’s a very smooth, simple scent composed by the juxtaposition of citruses and white flowers. The opening smells like you literally have citruses in your hand that you are preparing to eat. You are peeling off the skin of a clementine or a sweet mandarine, and you feel the natural smell of fresh citrus, realistic and delicate. The kind of perfume that instantly boosts your mood and makes miserable days feel better! It’s so fresh, bright and uplifting. The core of Nuda Veritas is represented by the soft aroma of orange blossoms, jasmine and tiare, white flowers that slowly outshine the citrusy opening. There are several other notes listed like tagetes, osmanthus, ambrette, oak moss but they are not particularly noticeable in Nuda Veritas. These might be in the background to round up the scent but not very prominent in the scent itself. On me, this scent is just citrus and white florals, which feels very natural and not at all perfumy or synthetic, a gorgeous scent with a very soft projection. This is 100% a summertime scent that should be worn during high heat and humidity because of its light performance. It’s like the summer breeze that hits you and keep you going through the hot and sticky days. On the clothes lasts for days, but it’s very subtle, you need to press your nose to smell, but it lingers! The presentation of Atelier des Ors is stunning as always. As much as I love the natural smell of Nuda Veritas, I will not upgrade to a full bottle because of its rather low performance and high price. But, if I could find it for half off, I would purchase a bottle immediately. I own lots of citrus and white flowers perfumes but nothing quite like this. And I really love this scent. This smells like pure luxury. But in a very understated sense, very natural and organic way.

Calone is a note that might not be pleasing to many noses, and some might say it smells like rotten eggs. I used to hate it also because of Versace PH and Eau Fraiche. The strong aquatic/ozonic smell, super synthetic, mixed with citrus, punctured my nose. Nuda Veritas is different. It opens with beautiful white florals and sparkly, light citrus, very refreshing and clean. Then the calone becomes more prominent and the synthetic smell is more noticeable. When I first tried it, I felt disappointed, but as it dries down, the calone softens and the scent turns more tropical: creamy, sweet florals over an aquatic base. To me, I picture a wealthy, well-put-together person relaxing by the European coast in summer, in a simple linen shirt and pants. This scent feels clean, crisp, effortless & elegant vibe. The opening leans feminine, but the drydown makes it highly unisex. Longevity was 7 hours on my skin, with moderate to intimate projection. You'll still catch a whiff as the wind blows by.

Aquatic, fresh jasmine. Nuda Veritas (NV) is a beautiful take on jasmine. NV is a white floral fragrance centered around the classic smell of jasmine, freshened up with an aquatic note of calone, & brightened up with a light bergamot zest & a hint of orange blossom. Finally the ambrette adds a soft, lightly-sweet, musky accord. A lot of white florals are added here to enhance the perfume's , well, white floral accord but the jasmine is the queen of them. Fresh, aquatic, jasminy, white floral, zesty, musky, lightly-sweet, slightly salty, and a mildly-greenly grassy at the dry down. This is a cheerful, bright take on jasmine. If you love jasmine or fresh/aquatic scent, you have to try this. It is really good. This is a like-or-love kind of fragrance, safe for blind buying. Had Atelier des Ord been more popular or had NV been more affordable, this would be much more popular. A unisex fragrance that leans feminine. This is a great warm weather wear. I "Love" it.

The thing that fascinates me about this perfume is its absolutely endless lasting power - right until clothes are washed. It reminds me of a brighter, less sweet, more marine Chanel Chance Au Fraiche in the opening, becoming pleasantly clean and salty through the day. However, the next day and until a garment is washed, it's exactly Another 13 by Le Labo. Yes, that could be the Ambroxan, but I suspect it's other molecular notes too. I think this is a pleasant wearing experience - with nicely balanced citrus notes in the opening and a clean - long - dry down. Something you come back to - - like Another 13 it has that quality that makes you want to keep sniffing.

I had the pleasure of trying a discovery set with Nude Veritas and I like it but I absolutely adore the Extrait version, it’s a beautiful sophisticated scent, it put me in mind of Brume du Matin by Fragrance Du Bois(they don’t smell alike but it’s in that elevated, sophisticated class), it lasts longer, it’s appropriate for work, if you wish to wear it there. However, if you are out and about frolicking in the sun this summer(think lunch date/ brunch date) it’s appropriate for that too, it’s at the top of my to-buy list for this spring/Summer along with Pink Me up. I just wish it wasn’t on the pricier side of the Atelier Des Ors line.

This smells like fresh, crisp watermelon (calone) and a light mix of white florals with a *touch* of sweetness. I personally love the smell of calone, it doesn’t smell masculine to me. It just smells clean and watery and sweet (it smells exactly like when you cut open a good watermelon). I’m wearing this now in the winter because I just love how refreshing it is after wearing so many musky warm scents, but I cannot wait to wear it in the summer when it’s hot. I have a feeling the florals will blossom more then. Longevity is great and sillage is moderate. Winner for me! Also the bottle is amazing as usual for ADO

Aquatic orange blossom; pure magic. Though calone is listed, the official note is “watery notes” and thankfully there’s no trace of that melon-like tone often tied to calone. It carries a mossy undercurrent, and the indolic jasmine is clearly present, adding just the right amount of depth with a hint of patchouli. At this point in my perfume journey I know white flowers are my thing when comes to perfumes! As for me I love the color white, I love the all white flower gardens, and I really love the white flowers in perfumes. And again I sound like a broken record, but I love this so much. Easy to wear and innocent fragrance. No doubt this works year round for me especially now when I am kinda tired of cold and gloomy days. This brings joy, happiness, and a breeze of warm spring air.

I tried this on my hand and i really liked it. It’s absolutely marine/acuatic and reminds me of a lot of other calone/salty perfumes, that’s why i don’t consider buying it. But if i wouldn’t have other perfumes like this, i would for sure. It’s a wonderful sea breeze, no fishy smell here, just great sea breeze with some citruses and flowers. I get it constantly with beautiful light waffles. Very good one. Oh and the gold glitter on the hand is cute :-)

Nuda Veritas by Atelier des Ors is a luminous, ethereal fragrance...soft, white, and quietly radiant. It feels pure and modern, with a touch of mystery, like light reflected on silk. The bottle itself is a small work of art, and the name...inspired by Klimt...captures its spirit perfectly. Elegant and refined, it’s a scent I truly love to wear, especially in the evening when its gentle brilliance feels even more special.

What a gem. I loved it since first try. The bottle and the scent spell summer to me. A very optimistic fragrance with that "je ne sais quoi" as a bonus. It works both for sunny and rainy days, The ozonic note makes me feel like I'm walking on a beach at sunrise whenever I'm wearing it. Most suited for a summer dress outfit or a casual fit. Super potent, lasts forever.

A bright, citrus-y veil that will be perfect for a wedding. The citrus notes are prominent in the opening, while the jasmine and ambroxan come through after maybe 30 minutes of wear. It's simply beautiful, fresh and inspiring, and very wearable. Nuda Veritas evokes a feeling of cleanliness and elegance that creates a stunning fragrance aura.

Nuda Veritas by Atelier des Ors is the calone of my dreams! I find that fresh, aquatic essence irresistible! There is distinct pop of bergamot in the opening and really lovely floral notes of jasmine, orange blossom, and osmanthus. This is such a gentle smell that I can dress it up or down and it is a surefire compliment getter!

So so lovely but so darn intimate in projection, especially for the price. The scent profile is a wonderful fresh white floral that feels like it should have been a little louder. But this is a close to skin scent. Yes it is very well done and smells incredible and inoffensive but it is hard to justify it’s luxury cost.

Clean, fresh and bright. A your-skin-but-better type of scent. Makes me think of sunshine glimmering over water. Yellow, possibly?, but so bright it's almost white. However, be warned, this is a potent fragrance for what it is. ONE spritz OR TWO shall be enough for you to fully enjoy this scent throughout the day.

I bought the Discovery set (5 samples) online to know this brand's perfumes. I liked 3 (Nuda Veritas, Crépuscule Des Âmes and Rose Omeyyade). Nuda Veritas is my favorite. Samples are a really good option because I was going to buy according to the notes from Fracrantica blindly.

I have been searching for a fragrance to wear during my stay in the Caribbean this summer, and I have finally found it. This fragrance is an elegant citrus/floral/musky masterpiece and I look forward to wearing it during some of my fondest moments during my trip. Nicely done.

Just brought this one home with me. Clean fresh white floral that smells so delicate. Been a while since my nose sniffed a perfume that is this smooth and blended really well. A well suited tropical island all white beach gown 🏝️☀️🕶️

The cobination of bergamot, orange blossom jasmine and calone is amazing , with jasmine as dominant note! got compliments wearing this one!similar to eden roc dior and eight and bob ( without the leather note)

This smells similar to Le Labo Neroli 36, yet does not last nearly as long. Perfect for a warm summer day. It is an elegant aquatic musky floral fragrance. I smell salty warm skin, orange blossom and jasmine.

Fresh, zesty, cold but sweet with strong orange blossom and jasmine notes. Surprised there is only 1 type of citrus mentioned in the notes. Mild musky background.

Very fresh, aquatic and beautiful perfume. I see both men and woman enjoy it. Best worn in summer. Way better than D&G light blue the first edition.

Nuda Veritas means naked truth from my research. I suppose that makes sense if the concept of this fragrance is all about the moment right before initiation of art. The blank canvas if you will. I hate it when fragrance reminds me of something and I can't remember what that is. But I have to say that might have been the goal of the brand, and if so, they were highly successful. And it says a lot when you are trying your hardest to get the last drop out of the sample. And I mean trying hard! I don't know about you, but my fragrance taste evolves rather quickly. I believe I wore this for the first time about a year and a half ago. There's nothing to not like about this fragrance. It just did not blow me away or create any type of memory at the time. I have not worn it since. Again, it just was not memorable. So why did I decide to try it again Christmas Eve morning? I'll tell you why. I didn't have any other option! So I put it on reluctantly. And I am pleasantly surprised! I really am. It's much better than I thought. This entire house is actually a lot better than I thought. This has been a theme for me the past month or two. The concept of evolving and changing your mind. I cringe at how many Great fragrances I threw out or gave away that I know are probably fantastic right now. I can only blame myself. I look at my collection and about half of them I wish I could exchange for the ones I have thrown away. That makes me want to cringe. This is one of them. I had the opportunity to grab a full bottle and I didn't do it. So here is the point of the review: Give a fragrance more than one try. That is the lesson of the month. Especially from a good house. Give a fragrance a chance, a real chance. You might give yourself a gift. This fragrance is a gift for the people who like White floral fresh perfume. Don't pass on it like I did.

I am sampling the Nuda Veritas Extrait, and my first impression is clean, cool, fresh and aquatic. it's clean, transparent and clear and fresh. It's white, but clear white. The florals are rounded, and soft and clear and refreshing and would be wonderful on a hot day as other reviewers mentioned. I like it, although I don't wear a white floral enough to warrant a full bottle and I have another white floral that I love (Zhaar) and I probably don't need both. I am sampling lots from this house though, because I love the glittery bottles with the gold, and I want one of the bottles in my collection (truth), but I haven't yet found a fragrance from them that speaks to me. This is a Freshie!! after a little bit this stays fresh and bright and the white florals fall back to reveal the oakmoss and patchouli base. I actually really like this and think its totally unique and beautiful and would be fantastic in the summertime!

Received a generous sample upon purchasing a 100ml bottle of a rather expensive niche fragrance. So, Nuda Veritas is not a perfume I'd ever pick to sample because the notes simply do not speak to me, or resonate with me. The listed notes are overall just not perfume notes I love...that is with the exception of jasmine. Aquatic, ozonic, watery, airy, fresh, ethereal, a bit floral, ultra-feminine. Someone here mentioned "safe bridal fragrance," which really is spot-on. Despite listing many florals in the notes (like jasmine, osmanthus, orange blossom and marigold), the fragrance does not feel thick, creamy, resinous, or heavy. I've owned jasmine fragrances. And if done properly, I LOVE jasmine in fragrances. But anyone who has owned and worn jasmine fragrances know the flower can be very over-powering. Nice enough, I suppose. Just not interesting enough for my style.

I couldn't test this scent but I blind bought it anyway because i loved the notes. Safe to say - there was no regret in the purchase. At first sniff, I liked, not loved, it - a soft hit of calone, followed by jasmine - these were the 2 prominent notes for me (I'm trying to train my nose!). But I keep spraying this on me so I think I'm growing to love this. It's so well-blended. It's a very soft fragrance that I would classify as a nice clean 'skin scent'. I guess this being called "the naked truth" is a suitable name. The first day I wore this, I got a compliment from a friend who doesn't wear or care for fragrances! The sillage and longevity are both pretty low-moderate, in my opinion. It's kind of what I expected for an aquatic scent.

Very fresh summer cologne type scent on opening. Reminds me of Dior’s Escale a Portofino. Over time Nude Veritas turns softer though - its a tad sweeter and the bitterness at the base from the oakmoss fades into the much softer musk blend. A lovely big bergamot blast on the opening followed by the white floral heart from neroli & jasmine. For me the calone is quite constrained here and not dominating at all. This one is kind of middle ground between Escale a Portofino and some of the muskier summer Aerins like Aegea Blossom. Poor staying power, barely noticeable in 3-4h. Lovely flacon. Overall nice but nothing special, not worth the price tag.

Nuda Veritas is the kind of jasmine that makes me forget I don’t even like jasmine. So pretty. No heady, cloying sweetness, no overripe weight—just something soft, luminous, and impossibly delicate, like a petal catching the first light of morning. There’s this beautiful crispness to it, a quiet green hum, as if the stems were still damp from the night. Hedione stretches it open, giving it air, letting it breathe, and somewhere in the distance, a whisper of citrus flickers, fleeting and golden. A white floral that doesn’t suffocate, doesn’t demand—just lingers joyfully, translucently, like the most blissful, carefree memory.

Oh I love this and I loved this when it was first released back in 2018, the only difference is that I am no longer in my early 20s and finally feel this is a perfume I can wear. Back then I was a staunch thick, gourmand girly but as I've gotten older I've learned to enjoy wearing a softer, gentle scent. To me, this is a exactly that; an angelic aquatic, the smell of salty air, clean skin and orange blossom. I love it. Of all the freshies I've smelt, this is the most 'sexy' which is maybe due to the ambroxan. It's white lace and silk. Pure and gorgeous.

I think it's alright. I certainly would not buy a bottle, but it's a nice to have. Pleasant to wear, but this type of perfume is better executed in many other creations. Floral and a lil.... Perfumey??? Like a tad synthetic, not in a bad way. Just what you would expect from "a perfume". Unremarkable if you asked me. But I would not mind wearing it. We're meowing about niche perfumery tho. I lowk don't wanna sniff "all right" smelly water. A lil feminine leaning if you care.

I’m trying on the Extrait version of this fragrance. It has a good projection with heavy orange blossom and a soft calone. As it dries down, it leaves a powdery jasmine scent. I believe this fragrance would be a great choice for hot weather and a relaxing day. I’m curious why Fragrantica hasn’t included the Extrait version of this fragrance in their list. Nuda Veritas opens with bright bergamot and airy jasmine over soft aldehydes - fresh, clean and surprisingly easy to wear from the very first spray. It dries down into a clean comforting musk with light floral sweetness that feels genuinely skin-like and effortless. The kind of fragrance that doesn't demand attention but keeps drawing you back in quietly. Still on my revisit list before making a final decision.

The opening is gorgeous; burst of citrusy florals (I'm not a huge straight forward florals lover) But the dry down is where I absolutely fall in love. The ambroxan and musk work beautifully with the white florals. As others have mentioned, there's a soft elegance to this fragrance. 🥰

This is a super pretty fragrance but it sadly doesn’t last on me. It’s perfect for summer and the orange blossom note gets me every time but for the money I want it a bit louder. It is perfect and non offensive fragrance though perfect for warm days in the office or out and about.

smells very elegant, classy, clean white floral. Good for casual even for special occasion. Unisex lean JUST a bit feminine. Performance i would say 6.5/10 but scentwise 9/10. This could be my signature scent, easy to wear + inoffensive yet still leaving a memorable impression.

The calone note is quite prominent. It brings this breezy, aquatic quality to otherwise floral scent. Very good choice for spring and autumn, when you want to reminiscence the holidays at the seaside.

V pretty!! Soft citric white floral. Gets stronger with your body heat

The synthetic molecules (I suppose this is the calone) really come out strong in this perfume. I heard from fragrance reviewers on YouTube that this is similar to Blanc Polychrome, but centred around a heart of jasmine. To me, while I do get some similarity to Blanc Polychrome (an almost salty-crisp freshness), this one actually really smells like Ghost in the Shell by ELDO. This very skin-like, salty, almost slick and robotic feel with a touch of jasmine. Naked Truth indeed. Not jasmine to me, this one is a weirdly futuristic, slick, synthetic freshie.

Fresh, light and inoffensive, great everyday scent for summertime. Slightly musky, aquatic floral. This is perfectly unisex in my opinion. The bottle is gorgeous. Sillage is however not great on my skin, I wear this typically when I don’t want my scent to be easily noticed. Performance is not great considering the price imo.

I love the gorgeous bottle and the gold flakes! But it smells very basic and not worth the high price tag. Clean and classy for a couple hours, then turns very sour on my skin. This does not work for me.

Quite nice, just not for me. Smelled great on paper but smells like sunscreen on my skin for the first few minutes. Dried down, it got softer. Lasts long, even after I washed it with fragranced soap.

Way too soft and mild. I can barely smell it. I've had it for a year and have been trying to like it but it's always such a disappointment. Probably going to be decluttered soon

The initial spray is refreshing, a nice flowery summer breeze but something in the drydown gives me a headache. I guess it is the oakmoss

This has the same tang that I dislike in Ex Nihilo’s Fleur Narcotique. In many ways, this is similar but more bitter.

Sometimes I feel nice & airy, sometimes I feel it's too savory... Average Jasmine.
