Pink Me Up

Pink is personally one of my favorite colors. Ever since I saw the bottle of this perfume, it had secured a spot on my wishlist. When I looked at the notes, I knew right away that I would love it. Alhamdulillah, I finally managed to add this perfume to my collection. I don’t want to say too much about the presentation, but it’s hard to imagine anyone not feeling happy when they see the gorgeous pink bottle with glittering gold flakes. Now, let’s talk about the scent. As soon as you spray it, you get a light citrusy touch with a bubbly, sparkling champagne note that creates a happy, uplifting feeling. Soon after, the juicy blackberry and jammy rose notes add a youthful vibe to the perfume, which even those who usually avoid rose fragrances will enjoy. All of my favorite notes are in this perfume, and they are blended so beautifully that the perfumer truly deserves praise. In the dry-down, the powdery iris, musk, and patchouli create an elegant yet seductive vibe. Overall, the scent is refreshing, sparkling, fruity, rosy, powdery, and musky—making it mass-appealing, feminine, and seductive. If you close your eyes and imagine pink as a scent, this is exactly what I would think of, so I feel the name is perfect. I’ve had a great experience with the performance of this perfume. On clothes, it lasts for over 7 hours, and the projection is moderate. For the first two hours, the scent is noticeable from an arm’s length, and after that, you can still smell it when someone is close or during a hug. It creates a beautiful bubble and leaves a light scent trail. However, if you spray it a bit heavier, the performance improves even more. *Pink Me Up* is the kind of perfume you can make your signature scent. It’s suitable for year-round use and works for any occasion or setting. In other words, it’s an *easy to love, easy to wear* fragrance! *Pink Me Up* didn’t trigger my migraines, and even in intense heat, the perfume never felt heavy or uncomfortable. If you love the scents of blackberry, rose, and iris, you’ll absolutely enjoy this. To me, this smells like young love 🩷 For those looking for a versatile perfume that you can wear regularly—whether to the office, meetings, or even on dates—I highly recommend giving *Pink Me Up* a try. পিঙ্ক কালার আমার ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অন্যতম পছন্দের একটি কালার। এই পারফিউমের বোতলটি দেখার পর থেকেই এটি আমার wishlist-এ জায়গা করে নিয়েছিল। যখন নোটগুলো দেখলাম, তখনই বুঝতে পেরেছিলাম যে এটি আমার ভালো লাগবেই। আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, অবশেষে আমি পারফিউমটি কালেক্ট করতে পেরেছি। প্রেজেন্টেশন নিয়ে অতিরিক্ত কিছু বলতে চাই না, কিন্তু gorgeous pink বোতলে glittering gold flakes দেখে কারো মন ভালো না হওয়ার কথা না। এবার আসি পারফিউমের স্মেল নিয়ে। স্প্রে করার সাথে সাথেই হালকা সিট্রাসি নোটসের সাথে বাবলি স্পার্কলিং (sparkling) শ্যাম্পেনের রিফ্রেশিং টাচ একটি হ্যাপি হ্যাপি ফিলিং দেয়। এরপরেই জুসি ব্লাকবেরির স্মেল এবং জ্যামি রোজ পারফিউমটিতে youthfulness যোগ করে, যা এমনকি যারা রোজ পারফিউম এভয়েড করেন তাদেরও ভালো লাগবে। আমার সব পছন্দের নোট এই পারফিউমটিতে আছে, এবং সবগুলো নোট এত সুন্দরভাবে ব্লেন্ড হয়ে আছে যে পারফিউমার অবশ্যই প্রশংসার দাবিদার। ড্রাইডাউনের পাউডারি আইরিস, মাস্ক আর patchouli খুব সুন্দরভাবে elegant এবং seductive ভাইব সৃষ্টি করে। সব মিলিয়ে পারফিউমটির স্মেল রিফ্রেশিং, স্পার্কলিং, ফ্রুটি, রোজি, পাউডারি ও মাস্কি, যা একবাক্যে mass appealing, feminine এবং seductive। চোখ বন্ধ করে পিঙ্ক কালারকে স্মেল হিসাবে ইমাজিন করলে এইরকম স্মেলই আমার মনে আসে, তাই আমার কাছে এর নামটি যথাযথ মনে হয়েছে। আমি পারফিউমটি থেকে ভালো পারফরমেন্স পেয়েছি। কাপড়ে ৭+ ঘন্টা স্থায়ী ছিল এবং প্রোজেকশন মডারেট, অর্থাৎ স্প্রে করার পর প্রথম দুই ঘন্টা পর্যন্ত এক হাত দূরত্ব থেকে স্মেল নোটিস করা যায়, এরপর কাছে বসলে বা হাগ করলে স্মেল টের পাওয়া যায়। এটি একটি সুন্দর বাবল সৃষ্টি করে এবং হালকা সেন্ট ট্রেইল রেখে যায়। তবে এটি একটু হেভি স্প্রে করলে পারফরমেন্স আরও ভালো পাওয়া যায়। Pink Me Up একটি সিগনেচার সেন্ট করার মতো পারফিউম। এটি সারাবছর ব্যবহারোপযোগী এবং যেকোনো পরিস্থিতি ও অকেশনে মানানসই। অর্থাৎ, এটি একটি Easy to love, easy to wear fragrance! Pink Me Up আমার মাইগ্রেন ট্রিগার করেনি এবং তীব্র গরমেও পারফিউমটি হেভি বা অস্বস্তিকর ফিল হয়নি। যাদের ব্লাকবেরি, রোজ ও আইরিসের স্মেল পছন্দ, তারা খুবই এনজয় করবেন। To me, this smells like young love 🩷 যারা রেগুলার ব্যবহার করার জন্য একটি পারফিউম খুঁজছেন, যা অফিস, মিটিং বা ডেটিং-এও ব্যবহার করা যায়, তারা Pink Me Up একবার হলেও ট্রাই করে দেখুন। আশা করি আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে 🩷

Back to This Girl. People flock to her and she has an aura that shines. She’s the Queen Bee popular girl, but also the sweetest, most genuine person you know. She is a good person down to her bones. She will lift you up and lighten the deepest of moods. Everyone wants to know her, to be with her, to BE her. This fragrance is a delight. I blind bought this, after having sampled and purchased other scents from this brand. I knew I would be getting a perfume that doesn’t smell like anything or anyone else - that’s the DNA of Atelier Des Ors...but I was wrong with this. Pink Me Up is a scent that feels very familiar, like it can be bought from a department store counter. The only thing that sets it apart from a designer fragrance is how Atelier Des Ors have captured the effervescent and sparkling quality here. I don’t get a Champagne note, which saddens me greatly because I am a Champagne girl through and through. That tart note just isn’t there for me unfortunately. And I wouldn’t liken the sparkling quality to that of Champagne either. To me it’s bang-on identical to the fizz you get when you suck on Fruit Tingle lollies (not complaining - Fruit Tingles are the bees knees). But I wanted more GLITTER, less fizz. Ya know? In saying all of that, I am happy with my purchase, and my love for this fragrance has only grown the more I put my nose to it. The dry down has a deepness to it that prevents this scent from drifting away into the ether from being too ditzy. There is complexity here - the sweetness, the fruitiness, the deeper grounding bass notes and the uplifting sparkle. This is beautifully blended. It’s unapologetic with who she is. Turns out that Atelier Des Ors DNA was there all along.

Bright, fruity, fizzy, joyful, feminine, glossy, crowd-pleasing, party vibes. I agree that it evokes a kir royal and it was instant love for me. Pink Me Up does share some similarities with Angel Nova and Lattafa Mayar — but the resemblance begins and ends at the openings. I own both Nova and Mayar, but don't wear them much because although I adore the openings, the mids and drydowns are too dense for me most days. They both lose their fizziness a few minutes in. Nova becomes sweet and dense in way that sometimes turns my stomach. Mayar maintains the fizziness a bit longer but it also gets darker as it dries down. It's more palatable than Nova, but I can't wear it unless there's a chill in the air. I live in a hot, humid climate, so that doesn't happen much. Pink me Up, on the other hand, has a sparkling lightness to it that remains throughout the life of the scent. The opening is fizzy blackberries and champagne that gradually becomes more floral as the scent progresses, though it never completely loses its fruity essence. There is something in Pink Me Up that keeps it lifted, light; with a lingering, effervescent citrus halo in the later stages. It delivers longevity while somehow maintaining its luminosity. I've seen a few comments implying that this is juvenile, too mass-appealing, or for inexperienced noses. Listen, I'm in my 40s and I've been deep in this hobby for multiple decades. I've smelled at least 1000 fragrances at this point in my life: niche, private line, designer, indie, you name it — and it still brings me so much joy when this type of fruity scent profile is executed perfectly. Marie Salamagne is also responsible for Guerlain's Mandarine Basilic, another fruity masterpiece. I shelled out for a full bottle of Pink Me Up as soon as my sample was done.

••••Y U M M Y•••• Just got this today for my birthday and this is juicy and fruity!! Though I do not really smell the champagne, the blackberry (or the fruit-y part) is very prominent on my skin. It is very soft and it feels like a summery scent to me. It isn’t fresh or spring-y but more soft and sweet like summer fruits. The rose is there in the background and of course the musks are there too to fluff and soften the composition. Later, the patchouli makes its entrance but it is also very soft and clean (for patchouli, not at all earthy, thank goodness). I love it and on my skin, it says: “Summertime!!” But really, this can be worn anytime. On my skin, this is a lot more fruity than floral but this is how my skin reacts. It may very well pull more floral for others? We are all different after all. Pink me up is a soft scent that doesn’t project massively (though at first spray, it’s quite strong), I appreciate the fact that it is not a fruity bomb. I will have to wear this a couple more times to have a more detailed review but all in all, a very successful blind buy and a happy birthday to me 😆🌻🎃🎊⭐️✨💜 Edit: Now that I have spent a little more time with this beauty, I can attest to its longevity...it stays for 9 hours+ on my skin and the dry down is very comforting, cozy and beautiful. On clothes? Days!! I am super happy to have made this purchase!! I love it!!!
