Ten Nine

Dried apricots in chocolate. Nothing more, nothing less, but intense, strong and vibrant fragrance goes into space. I fell in love at first test. I do not favored by gourmet scents, it not seems to me like a good idea to smell like food. And chocolate in BLV Notte is downright offensive to me. But Ten Nine so lively, cheerful and jubilant smell that makes me a good mood all day and its significant silage my neighborhood, too. All day! Time to smell is excellent.

Ten Nine is the second scent I try from Atelier Flou. The first one was Sloane Rose, and that one is nothing short of heavenly. Ten Nine is a different story, but nevertheless beautiful. It opens with sharp notes of fresh fruit, mixed with dark chocolate, a bit edgy and in my opinion quite masculine. After the chocolate notes go away, herbs, fruits, spices and tea remain. The scent takes a very fresh turn, which eludes unbeatable energy. Almost like one of those green energy drink shakes, full of goodness, that nobody knows quite precisely what they contain, but surely are good for you. I don't smell any flowers in it. The tea, spice and fruit are running the show here, and the result is rather delicious! The silage and lasting power are both good! The bottle is a heavy cubicle, with golden lid, feeling and looking like high quality, without being overly original. A wonderful and very original scent, which I believe could work very well on a handsome man, or on an athletic and adventurous lady. It surely works for me, and I love it! Thank you, dear NathalieZ!

It's a nice take on a modern fougere theme! Ten Nine is fresh and at the same is gourmand-ish. Initial blast of black currant and lemon, turns into fresh chocolate middle, not being too sweet. Then lavender shines through with some ambergris, which I think makes a modern fresh fouger. Nice performance and longevity! Very universal, day or night, hot or cold weather! Very good quality, as one can expect from Jovoy. The bottle iz stunning, super heavy metal case/ flask.

I was foolish....blind buy...thought those days were gone...now regret I spent way too much on something sweet, with no staying power, and indeterminate notes. Most perfumes stay well on my skin, but this one just disappeared, in less time than it took to count to ten. Won't be taking this one on holiday with me.
