Loren

The perfume Loren has a fragrance classified by the perfumer as woody-spicy and brings, as main features, the freshness of the mandarin along with purer nuances of cedar and the sensuality of cumaru. The fragrance features mandarin, orange, and aquatic notes on top; Pepper, neroli, and cedar, in the body; Vetiver, white musk, tonka bean, and amber, in the base. Although it is sold as a unisex perfume, on my skin Loren shows itself as more aimed at the male audience, with a fragrance that is very commercial. In addition, it behaved more as woody-oriental than spicy, as stated on the manufacturer's website. On the one hand, Loren is that easy-to-access type of fragrance that does not cause estrangement to those who get out of the mass segment and decide to try something within the independent segment. On the other hand, this is not what many seek to find, which turns out to be an extremely commercial decision and that usually serves to bring working capital to this type of company. The fragrance is not innovative and has a juicy output with plenty of orange content, a warm touch of pepper, and a lot of weight on the notes of cedar, tonka beans, and amber. Neroli and vetiver tend to be more attractive, but this time they went unnoticed. It has versatility, medium performance, and its biggest differential is undoubtedly the fact of having good essential oils of vegan origin, high concentration, and excellent cost-benefit. Figuratively speaking, the impression I have is that they aimed at Allure Pour Homme (Chanel) and hit Kaiak Urbe (Natura).
