Born for Eternity

This one from Atkinsons is the best for men. It doesn't have any OFG or Oud Maracua, maybe the oud and spicy notes were misled by the smell. It's a dark and bold fragrance that's not for everyone's nose, needs a mature nose to understand how rich and complex this fragrance is. It's really strong, warm, royal and woody, and it reminds me of an old cathedral where frankincense is burned with saffron on it. And to top it off, there's a sweet note with smooth leather that does the trick.

My eyes hit on this new Atkinson's, it smells unique for a oud/leather mix of fragrance. After it cools down, I get something aromatic and sweet alongside the oud and leather. Pretty nice fragrance, It also got my attention since some people say it smells like Oud Maracuja, which I never tried before!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. Smells luxury and very smooth. Very different from PdM Haltane I don't see the resemblance.

Reminds me of ombre leather by tom ford a lot, really beautiful scent, just wish it wasn't as expensive.

Since I have oud maracuja, ombre leather and also born for eternity I can tell you the 3 are completely different.I don't know how people are saying they are the same lol, they don't smell nothing like each other.To be honest it gives my darker "Akdeniz" vibes it is hard to be explained but it is a nice and very elegant male fragrance.It’s not loud or overpowering - more of a confident, understated fragrance that sits close to the skin with smooth woody base. Perfect if you like something classic with a modern polish. Not the most attention-grabbing, but very classy and wearable. P.S: I bought it for 200 euro from the Istanbul airport.I was there about to buy Althair however I started looking around the atkinsons and I was like "I don't have nothing from them...it is about time" so not a bad buy for the collection, the bottle is one of my favs packaging it's kind of cheap (vibes of dupes packs).

WOW! Upon first spray, I am greeted with multiple colours in my head. I don't know why, but I instantly think of Oud Maracuja upon inital sprays. However, Oud Maracuja does lean more fruity, and this sways more towards oriental/woody. I just picked this up from Notino for £180 which is a good discount from the £230 RRP. Is it good enough to make it my signature fragrance? I don't think so. This one might take a bit of getting used to before making that decision. As for the PDM Haltane references, I really don't smell it. It might be the oud/aromatic accords. The human brain does have a funny way of associating/linking scents with other scents. Think of it as a bridge to better describe a fragrance or to find similarities. I'd personally wear this fragrance in the heat even though the majority of votes do say winter. It just smells like a beautiful scent for the summer.

I sprayed rhis yesterday and bavk in winter and swear it smelles like a great or better Initio oud for greatness, but yesterday it was this weird soapy chemical soup and after a day on my skin it lasted quite well but now its super chemically.

Praline note relates with Haltane, but this is surprisingly bright oud, spicy and sweet. Dry down is where it shines as the opening can be quite potently sharp. Really fun fragrance that is better sprayed in moderation.

Strong oud with soft spices and leathery notes. It’s pleasant but you really need to be into this type of fragrances: bold, powerful and dark. Reminds me of Malfa Walls by Obvious. My ig: scent.guide

I like this one. Nice sweet scent. I love the beautiful bottle design. Too bad it's so expensive though. 8/10

I like it but for the scent, it's too overpriced.

Very oudy with dense leather, a little synthetic smelling and light peppery. NOT warm spice but airy light, not so cloyying. A bit tyre-y with sweet floral accord. Its a more expensive Oud for Greatness, or just get the Lattafa clone.. these 3 are all extremely identical. Save your money, also 70% masculine leaning scent

I found it very pleasant at the beginning, but after an hour it became very simple, sharp, and synthetic. In terms of price, I wouldn't pay this money, I would buy maracuja or haltane, the originals of this DNA, for almost the same prices.

First 1-2 hour Smell like soot then drydown good sweet smell not for everyone if you like soot smell buy this

This smells fantastic! A sweet praline, woody, smooth western oud. If you like oud scents along the lines of oud wood, haltane and oud for greatness well I’m telling you now. This one is a banger! I made dinner so washed my hands, touched all the ingredients, had a shower later in the evening and it was still very present so longevity is eternal. The notes might look intimidating but everything is so well blended. Nothing is aggressive and jumps out. Amazing release from Atkinsons that I’m sure people will absolutely love! Extremely easy to wear and for me personally very versatile. I bought it retail which I never do but this was worth it. Magnificent stuff and much nicer smelling than Haltane and oud for greatness.

I received a sample of this perfume from a friend and wore it for two nights in an open place and I asked myself, have I smelled this perfume before.. When? And where? But it was a long time ago. Yes, it is OFG. Yes, the same DNA, but in reality, I think that OFG blended beautifully and was more elegant and warm. However, this perfume is stillll beautiful and wonderful, although its price is expensive and close to OFG, but I would not buy it at this price because the idea of a used perfume does not have any new attractive innovation 🌷
