Midnight Scented Dream

Love at first smell. To me, this is a predominantly almond scent with a strong white-floral base. It reminds me of BDK Velvet Tonka, but Midnight Scented Dream is much nicer - smoother and less sharp. Velvet Tonka was a “maybe” for me and I never bought a full bottle, while I had to get this one immediately. In the drydown, it turns slightly Alien-like with a similar jasmine note. Overall, a gorgeous, very feminine, intoxicating scent with excellent longevity and projection.

In turkish cusine we have a cookie named “acibadem kurabiyesi”, it’s a type of almond cookie. This fragrance smells exactly like that.

This must be what heaven smells like! I am obsessed with it, high class perfume indeed!

Loved the almond note in this one. It was truly addicting and beautifully complimented the more powdery-vanilla notes. I really couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. The Jasmine is also very strong and sort of managed to balance out the sweetness of the gourmands, but I personally would have preferred a slightly fresher counterpart in the white florals. After it dries down the jasmine is nearly gone, and I'm left with a pleasant woody gourmand. Overall, and taking into consideration that I'm not necessarily a fan of Jasmine to begin with, this is quite a lovely, if very sweet, scent. I imagine this might be what nectar smells like to bees.

When the sales associate recommended this fragrance, the moment I tried it I said, “This is Pegasus.” Pegasus is among my favorite scents, so I recognized it immediately — they’ve created something very close to it. Why? No idea. Anyway, it’s basically a more feminine version of Pegasus, nothing more.
