My Fair Lily

This is one joyful lily perfume. I love the rhubarb and chamomile. I wasn't sure if this would lean closer to La Vierge de Fer or Lys Mediteranee, it's ever so slightly closer to LM. I think the chamomile and rhubarb add snap to this beauty. It does not announce itself, it wafts ever so gracefully. It also strikes my nose that the vetiver indeed smooths and softens the lily. I can see this not clobbering crowds in the summer heat (I'm gonna try it LOL). The patch is waaaaaay subtle IMO. Sample this, it's very well done IMO.

Imagine you're sipping on your Rhubarbe tea sitting by a huge bouquet of freshly cut and full bloom chamomile and lilies. The essence of a sunny summer day: Bright, fresh and floral. Light hearted, innocent and elegant lady at a garden party. It's a yes! 😍

Just a VEEERRRYY quick observation about My Fair Lily which I bought from Nexangelus and arrived this morning (thank you, lovely!). I bought this blind as usual, having seen the notes; I also played Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady" and the reference in the name appealed to me. Yes, I am that easily swayed. Others have assessed the perfume's longevity as poor, but... I have skin which routinely sucks up perfume like a sponge; I spritzed My Fair Lily once, assessed its strength and then really went for it! Eight spritzes on my arms, upper chest and shoulders well over three hours ago and it's still very evident and projecting about arms-length. On me, My Fair Lily has at least moderate longevity and sillage - BUT it's a beautiful day here - warm, sunny and breezy and I am sitting in the garden, reading and sunbathing. I think My Fair Lily may need heat to perform well. I believe everyone should wear whatever dings their dong, but - in my opinion - this leans feminine, rather than being truly unisex. ETA: Last week, at the beginning of July, I wore this again. I gave myself a few hefty sprays on my arms and chest and wallowed in glorious lilies. Some of the perfume ended up on my dress, which I washed, dried outdoors on the washing line, and then wore again yesterday. I could STILL smell My Fair Lily on the dress, despite it having been thoroughly washed and aired. There is no way that an assessment of poor longevity is accurate for this perfume. I think that many people make this assessment of a perfume because they become "noseblind" to it. I know that I do - very quickly indeed, if I spritz my neck and chest, so that the perfume constantly wafts into my face.

Clean and fresh summer fragrance with disappoiting longevity. After 2 hours on me the scent is gone, I regret buying 100ml

Apparently I do not like Casablanca Lilies - all i could smell was Lily and Chamomile. Not a fan. This is a personal opinion based on the 2 florals in this fragrance because overall Atkinsons are well made fragrances. BUT if you do not fancy either of the floral notes - I would not chance this fragrance.
