The Odd Fellow Bouquet

I live for oddities and weirdness or quirkiness in a GOOD way and in a BIG way. This composition smells to me of "Cookie Dough". I get instantly reminded of my early childhood, baking with my mother for Christmas cookies, biscuits or "Plaetzchen" as we used to call it in German. It is a lovely skin scent; strong, but nevertheless very sensual, seductive, sexual, sophisticated, and most of all VERY GOURMAND. I used to love to lick the raw buttery dough from the big wooden spoon plus anything that was left in the big batter mixing bowl, that my mother gave me as a reward for my help in the kitchen. (half an hour later I usually had a bit of a tummy ache but that did not bother me). I cannot help but think of a romantic bakery, patisserie or Viennoiserie in the context of this scent. Perhaps some old Viennese Bakery with hundreds of years of heritage, still using those beautiful white paper crochet style doily (the decorative kind). Truly original and truly an oddball, in the nicest possible way. ATKINSONS I love you for bringing my childhood back. xx

This is my favorite in all Atkinsons line, and I do like all other man/unisex fragrances they offering. To me it is like if Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Guerlain Heritage had baby. It is very well blended, none of ingredients sticks out - truly bouquet, not individual flowers. If I could smell tobacco in it, that would be not classic tobacco but rather like honey and spice scented tobacco sold in some Asian countries. It doesn't change much in all 10+ hours it lasts on me, and in this case it's a good thing, since it is gorgeous scent. The type that quietly but confidently says "class and sophistication", but in the same time very sexy if not outright seductive. I see it mostly suited for 30+ group, but it easily could be used as evening scent for formal occasions or date night for younger gentlemen. Although I would consider Fall/Winter scent, it is not too heavy to wear it in Spring or colder Summer nights. Scent 10/10 Longevity 9/10 Projection 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Price for Quality 9/10 Definitely bottle worthy!

very underrated one, opening with spicy of ginger and pepper, plus some well blended vani and a very subtle "sourness" from maybe the labdanum, at the opening, if you are not familiar with the "tobacco vani", you will not notices it. It (the t-v) is very subtle. Ambery spicy at the opening, a bit (very bit) fresh, very unique. Then, as the time go on, the tobacco vani aspect begin to appear more and more clear. Great one, first I bought it because of the tobacco vani, then, I'm gradually in love with the spicy amber opening of this one. Absolutely gonna get one full. Con này ngon lắm các bạn, nó không phải nồng nặc tobacco vani ngay từ đầu như Tom Ford hay đậm đặc như 18.21 đâu, mà ban đầu nốt cay-ngọt (ngọt kiểu amber) sẽ lên trước, xa lạ và không liên quan gì đến tobacco vani cả, nhưng nếu dùng con này một thời gian thì bạn sẽ cảm nhận được tobacco vani ở ngay những lớp hương đầu tiên vì nó rất thoang thoảng. Dần dần về sau dry down thì nó sẽ ra tobacco vani rõ rệt hơn hẳn. Cực ngon, cực ít được biết đến.

There is a reason why I love niche frags, it's the exclusivity! They smell different and not in the way that's commonly and widely accepted by the mass. While I love brands like Narciso Rodriquez and Prada, some frags from Diptyque or Penhaligon stir my intellectual part. Atkinson's Odd fellow is totally out of there and unique. It shows quick evolution from the opening to the dry-down. Love them notes but not quite at the dry down. The scent is huge, it stays with you and won't go away until days after. Just a warning, that it's not quite a safe buy, hence sampling is a must. But if you're seeking for that campfire scent: warm resin, tobacco, and sweet syrup notes, then this Odd fellow is yours to go.

O-M-G. I'm literraly speechless now. Words escapes me. This is totally a Hidden gem in the chest full of gems I might say. Beautiful combination of Tobacco leaves and Bezoin. Sweet, tampted, elegant, seductive, polite, charming,...I can spend all day tallking about the goodness of this beauty. Thanks God I decided to turn to the Just Opened Shopping Mall downtown where the Atkisons Boutique located. Sillage: B (quite noticable in the couple of first hours) Duration: A (Yes, it stays and it stays LONG. 8h+) Smell: A+ (IF there's any higher possible rate than A+) Versatility: B (for gentlements ONLY, no kids, no jokes)
