The Odd Fellow Bouquet

I live for oddities and weirdness or quirkiness in a GOOD way and in a BIG way. This composition smells to me of "Cookie Dough". I get instantly reminded of my early childhood, baking with my mother for Christmas cookies, biscuits or "Plaetzchen" as we used to call it in German. It is a lovely skin scent; strong, but nevertheless very sensual, seductive, sexual, sophisticated, and most of all VERY GOURMAND. I used to love to lick the raw buttery dough from the big wooden spoon plus anything that was left in the big batter mixing bowl, that my mother gave me as a reward for my help in the kitchen. (half an hour later I usually had a bit of a tummy ache but that did not bother me). I cannot help but think of a romantic bakery, patisserie or Viennoiserie in the context of this scent. Perhaps some old Viennese Bakery with hundreds of years of heritage, still using those beautiful white paper crochet style doily (the decorative kind). Truly original and truly an oddball, in the nicest possible way. ATKINSONS I love you for bringing my childhood back. xx

This is my favorite in all Atkinsons line, and I do like all other man/unisex fragrances they offering. To me it is like if Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Guerlain Heritage had baby. It is very well blended, none of ingredients sticks out - truly bouquet, not individual flowers. If I could smell tobacco in it, that would be not classic tobacco but rather like honey and spice scented tobacco sold in some Asian countries. It doesn't change much in all 10+ hours it lasts on me, and in this case it's a good thing, since it is gorgeous scent. The type that quietly but confidently says "class and sophistication", but in the same time very sexy if not outright seductive. I see it mostly suited for 30+ group, but it easily could be used as evening scent for formal occasions or date night for younger gentlemen. Although I would consider Fall/Winter scent, it is not too heavy to wear it in Spring or colder Summer nights. Scent 10/10 Longevity 9/10 Projection 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Price for Quality 9/10 Definitely bottle worthy!

very underrated one, opening with spicy of ginger and pepper, plus some well blended vani and a very subtle "sourness" from maybe the labdanum, at the opening, if you are not familiar with the "tobacco vani", you will not notices it. It (the t-v) is very subtle. Ambery spicy at the opening, a bit (very bit) fresh, very unique. Then, as the time go on, the tobacco vani aspect begin to appear more and more clear. Great one, first I bought it because of the tobacco vani, then, I'm gradually in love with the spicy amber opening of this one. Absolutely gonna get one full. Con này ngon lắm các bạn, nó không phải nồng nặc tobacco vani ngay từ đầu như Tom Ford hay đậm đặc như 18.21 đâu, mà ban đầu nốt cay-ngọt (ngọt kiểu amber) sẽ lên trước, xa lạ và không liên quan gì đến tobacco vani cả, nhưng nếu dùng con này một thời gian thì bạn sẽ cảm nhận được tobacco vani ở ngay những lớp hương đầu tiên vì nó rất thoang thoảng. There is a reason why I love niche frags, it's the exclusivity! They smell different and not in the way that's commonly and widely accepted by the mass. While I love brands like Narciso Rodriquez and Prada, some frags from Diptyque or Penhaligon stir my intellectual part. Atkinson's Odd fellow is totally out of there and unique. It shows quick evolution from the opening to the dry-down. Love them notes but not quite at the dry down. The scent is huge, it stays with you and won't go away until days after. Just a warning, that it's not quite a safe buy, hence sampling is a must. But if you're seeking for that campfire scent: warm resin, tobacco, and sweet syrup notes, then this Odd fellow is yours to go.

O-M-G. I'm literraly speechless now. Words escapes me. This is totally a Hidden gem in the chest full of gems I might say. Beautiful combination of Tobacco leaves and Bezoin. Sweet, tampted, elegant, seductive, polite, charming,...I can spend all day tallking about the goodness of this beauty. Thanks God I decided to turn to the Just Opened Shopping Mall downtown where the Atkisons Boutique located. Sillage: B (quite noticable in the couple of first hours) Duration: A (Yes, it stays and it stays LONG. 8h+) Smell: A+ (IF there's any higher possible rate than A+) Versatility: B (for gentlements ONLY, no kids, no jokes)

Spicy, vanillic, ambery, powdery, tobacco. On first spray I briefly smell a bit of vanilla, but it's not gourmand, with heliotrope very present. Then it turns spicy, powdery and I get the tobacco, not in your face, but nicely blended with the rest of the accords. This is a very well blended perfume, where the final result is bigger than the sum of its notes. Masculine, classic, unique. Not a beast so, good for the office, and on my skin it lasts about 7 h.

I adore this one. I've been hoarding a tiny sample for a few months now, thanks to the very helpful SA at Barney's in Chicago. It's mostly tobacco, sweetened by heliotrope and benzoin without becoming syrupy, and enough light spice to keep the fragrance interesting. Rather dry. It's quite soft, but tenacious; "Come closer" rather than "Here I am!". Highly recommended!

Amazing fragrance, reminds me of Tobacco Vanille with cinnamon, whiskey and gingerbread cookies, it can be easily unisex, amazing quality, lasting power is really high

Best frag from this underrated house!

"Twas noontide of summer, And mid-time of night; And stars, in their orbits, Shone pale, thro' the light" Somehow the OFB makes me think of this poem by Edgar Allen Poe when I wear it - it must be because The Bouquet is very funky and rich, consisting of ginger, benzoin and labdanum, Strongest notes are heliotrope, honey and tobacco. Overall, I prefer the dryer tabacco scents and this is a tad on the sweet side for me - as in sweet but still masculine and could get a bit cloying over time. The drydown is nutty and a little nougat-like. Definitely a scent for dressing up more than casual and smells of quality ingredients. It reminds me to some degree of Tobacco Vanille with the vanilla being replaced by honey (the honey note probably comes from the mix of heliotrope and benzoin) - in fact I find to be very similar to Odori Tabacco, so much that if you have that one in your collection, this one would probably be redundant. Very nice of you're a fan of sweet tobacco, but try before you buy.

My first impression of Odd Fellow Bouquet was "Wow"- really pleasant and elegant. Tobacco and benzoin joined by labdanum and heliotrope in a really well-made homogeneous blend. I also think it's a great step to leave out the vanilla from the amber chord, it makes Odd Fellow Bouquet slightly darker compared to its relatives. e.g. TF Tobacco Vanille. The very friendly smoothness of the blend is at the same time the strength and the weakness of Odd Fellow Bouquet. The first impression is wonderful probably, to a great deal, due to the very fine tuned balance. But, to me, after an hour or so the very same factors that provided this wonderful first impression become a problem. Over time nothing interesting is happening, there is no evolution and for me to be immersed in this soft scent for a whole day becomes a bit monotonous. But in total Odd Felow Bouquet is very well made and definitely worth trying.

At first glance, this one seems similar to a lot of other sweet tobacco fragrances, but the heliotrope makes it unique. I like it, but I'm not sure I'm enough of a floral fan to love it. Definitely unique in the "sweet tobacco" subgenre and worth checking out, especially if you think the similar fragrances are too "masculine." Edit: After coming to appreciate heliotrope more, I came back to my sample of TOB and now I want a bottle.

This is a super strong Benzoin, Tobacco and Labdanum juice. At least for 3 hours or so... This is beastly on me for a few hours before settling down. I like it but do not love it... I will really have to be in the mood to wear this... Winter and Fall days and nights. I wouldn't wear this to the office unless you spray lightly and a couple of hours before going in. I would say this is a try before you buy... Enjoy!

I wanted to love this, but sadly there is only like. Warm tobacco-powder with flashes of pepper and ginger. There's something about the coldness of the heliotrope that doesn't play well with the tobacco; similarly, the resinous benzoin-labdanum accord strikes a strange note with the ginger. I suppose the name is apt, after all: this is a very odd fellow. Pleasant and powerful enough, but not quite balanced.

Cookie Dough might be the best way to put it. Benzoin and ginger are magnified with small doses of lab and tobacco. Similar to Missions as they are both crafty light scents. Missions would be the obvious choice as it is way cheaper. The Odd Fellow is nice on it's own but does not warrant the price tag.

Loving this. Warm, powdery tobacco wrapped in honey and heliotrope. Super musky. The resins are there too, subtly. No ginger detected.

#973 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I saw my first old and magnificent Oddfellows Lodge with its characteristic arched windows in Tacoma, Washington. I was never more than mildly curious about who they were or what they were doing that was so "odd." Men's lodges put me in mind of cartoon characters "Fred Flintstone" and "Barney Rubble" and their membership in the "Loyal Order of Water Buffaloes." (https://flintstones.fandom.com/wiki/Loyal_Order_of_Water_Buffaloes). Anyway, it struck me as "odd" to name a men's fragrance "Oddfellows Bouquet." I assumed, incorrectly, that it would be floral, so this decant has sat in a box for over a year until I pulled it out at random this morning. Now I can smell why they'd name this for an old-fashioned men's lodge. It does kind of smell like the lounge of the Tacoma Elks Club (I've never belonged, not really a joiner, but one of my subordinates invited me to his club for lunch). The lounge smelled of old pipe tobacco, brandy, leather conditioner and furniture polish. And that's kind of the vibe with this scent. I prefer vanilla and amber to using similar resins and balsams. I appreciate the all day and night longevity and laser like projection of benzoin and labdanum in scents like Burberry Hero EDP, Rochas Moustache EDP, Rabanne 1 Million Royal, Boss Bottled Elixir, but they have all sat on the shelf unused since I bought them. They are beastly and can be overwhelming. When I have used them, it's a light spritz on the clothing to give a hint of scent. More than that screams "grandad." I don't think this is for the young guys. Older men can certainly wear this for business, but I'd go easy. Wouldn't wear this in a car pool or tight office space. Not date wear for me. But I feel that way about all the tobacco scents. Anyway, it's okay, high quality, but not for me. I already have quarts of scent like this that I may not use up.

I like Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and I get the comparison to this, but I find this stuff somewhat gagging and headache-inducing, and I'm not sure why. It has a cough medicine note that reminds me of original formulation YSL M7; at first I thought there may have been some of that same synthetic oud in this. What is it that's annoying me? The benzoin? I find I almost always don't like predominantly amber scents, so that could be it. MysteryBuff: I have and love De Nicolai New York and Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree and I love Creed Bois du Portugal, but this Odd Fellow's Bouquet doesn't appeal to me - I don't get the comparisons. Yes, it does strike me as gourmandy... that was my first take on it until I got that it's mainly a ambery tobacco scent. Longevity is better than average. ---------- Second wearing on my hand: Yes, it's confirmed, this stuff bugs me. That ambery benzoin note is fierce on me.

It was too sweet, it actually reminded me of honey syrup.

The storied house of Atkinsons (London, 1799) has been reborn (Italy, 2013). What followed was an intriguing catalogue of fragrances in impeccably styled bottles. The Odd Fellow's Bouquet is a re-issue of a scent created to celebrate the return of Lawrence of Arabia. Atkinsons conjures up the appropriate imagery: "Lawrence of Arabia ensconced in the splendour of a St. James gentleman’s club, its weighty silence broken only by the occasional turning of a sheet of a newspaper, and the Oriental fragrance of Ottoman tobacco issuing from the depths of upholstered winged armchairs... This rarified ambience is conveyed with almondy heliotrope flowers and dark tobacco, heightened with ginger and fiery peppercorn and, finally, deepened with a rich ambery accord of benzoin and labdanum. A fragrance of immense leisure." The history of the firm and the Lawrence of Arabia story may be the best thing about this fragrance. Although the notes suggest Five O'Clock au Gingembre or Tobacco Vanille, The Odd Fellow's Bouquet is much closer to Chanel Pour Monsieur Concentree minus the vanilla, a less distinguished cousin of Bois du Portugal or De Nicolai's New York. This is a straight up woody oriental in the old school style. It could come across a bit dated and a bit feminine in the opening. Too much amber for my personal taste. Very pleasant at the end, however, mostly stark woods with slight smoke and sweetness, like the aroma of a sauna.

العطر كبداية هو تكريس للنمط التركي في استعمال التوباكو لو رجعنا بالزمن للوراء بعيدا عن أجواء الكافيهات الحديثة ورائحة الدخان المنبعثة منها والممتزجة بنكهات تبدو لي مضحكة وأحيانا سخيفة (شيشة: تفاح – فانيليا – قهوة - عنب – توت - خوخ – فراولة – كشري - بسطرمة ...) فنحن الآن أمام النمط "التركي – الشامي" للشيشة العجمي "النرجيلة" وكانت وما تزال تدخن من خلال استخدام ورقة توباكو واحدة ترطب بالماء ثم تلف دون قطع. فرائحة التبغ هنا "طينية – إرثية" رطبة، والتوباكو المستخدم هو بالأساس توباكو تركي عثماني حاد. راتينج اللابدانوم التشيبري مع البنزوين اللحائي الصمغي سيشعلان الأجواء دفئا خاصة مع البدايات الأولى للعطر أما القليل جدا من الفلفل الأسود التابلي في المقدمة فأعتقد أنه سيكون سببا في أن يعطس الكثيرون. الآن وصلنا إلى جوهر العطر ونقطة تميزه عن غيره من عطور التوباكو والتي ستتمثل في وجود الثنائي الذي سيبدو معاكسا من زهرة حجر الدم "Heliotrope" ذات الرائحة السويتية بعض الشيء مع الزنجبيل الطازج اللاذع، وأعتقد أن هذا الثنائي المعاكس هو السبب في تسمية العطر من الناحية التقنية "رفيقي غريب الأطوار"، بعيدا عن قصة لورانس العرب. لأن هذا الثنائي سيكون سببا في أن يجعل المزيج وبلا أدني شك يضم رائحة خمورية واضحة تقترب من رائحة الويسكي. العطر بسيط لكنه جميل وغريب وفريد ولا علاقة له بعطر توم فورد توباكو فانيليا "ارحمونا بقى يا بتوع فراجرانتيكا" أعتقد أن محبي رائحة التوباكو العصرية أو العطور العصرية بشكل عام قد لا تعجبهم رائحة العطر لكنه سيكون اختيارا مميزا للغاية للفئة التي تفضل العطور الكلاسيكية والأجواء التشيبرية

I have had "his majesty the oud" for a while from Atkinsons, which is my all time favourite. It’s really intoxicating. Talking about "the odd fellow bouquet", I tested it once when I bought his majesty wearing 8 sprays. The first impression was great, longevity was satisfying,not as long as the oud collection, but literally satisfying. It’s totally in a same family with Tom Ford tobacco vanille, but Atkinsons has stronger smell of tobacco, which is really sensational, I love it.while TF represents stronger scent of vanilla rather than tobacco. I used to wear TF tobacco vanille as my signature till I was introduced with his majesty the oud, which is totally unique and different, not the same as anything. However, I am going to buy the odd fellow bouquet. A blend of fantastic scents in a fragrance by Atkinsons for tobacco lovers: ATKINSONS THE ODD FELLOW BOUQUET. I really look up to the house of Atkinsons. OVERALL: 9/10

Tour de force creation by Atkinson's. A legendary scent. Rich velvety and enveloping tobacco (sweet turkish and oriental blended tobacco to my nose) , semi-sweet amber with a zest of ginger on application , it is too me (a lover of tobacco fragrances) the very best in its class. It's a perfect blend of sweet Ambre Narguile by Hermessence and sophisticated Tabarome by Creed, each of which are legendary fragrances in my books. Recommended for men 35 +, power business or evening occasions, you will stand out, you will be noticed and you will be admired. When you are asked what you are wearing, your answer with bring even more intrigue. Research the Odd Fellows, they have a long and rich history. dating back to the early 1800's. A Wonderful, worldly and delicious fragrance originating from great craftsmanship. Odd Fellows Bouquet gets a 9.5/10 for me, and this is being conservative!

This is my first comment! Thank you to all this community that brings every day comprehensive comments, with a real critical spirit on perfumes. I'd like to start with this one, The Odd Fellow's Bouquet, which particularly intrigued me as I am movie buff. Some Atkinsons perfumes have been created for celebrities, including one for the famous Lawrence of Arabia (according to the representative of the brand in Paris that speaks with passion). On the « paper » (sorry I don’t know the name in English for the white paper for spraying the perfume), I smelled only sweet, with a heavy smell of spices. But once put on the skin, all its power wafted and moved on to pleasant smell of fresh spices, amber, and tobacco. A long lasting, and some stops in the street to give the name to passers-by of this perfume!

I LOVE THIS. Holy smokes, its a marvelous confluence of what I consider the most delicious notes in perfumery: heliotrope, benzoin, and tobacco. Seriously, this is delectable, nearly gourmand, but having a dry, spiced, resinous undercurrent that prevents the sweetness from ever getting cloying. There is a clarity to the composition, it sings, and there is a certain glow to the very natural-smelling ingredients that puts it in another league. This clarity remains as the dry down stirs seductively, the heliotrope gets softer and doughier, the tobacco smokier and more aromatic, and the benzoin is joined by labdanum, anchoring it all. Magical, and with a tenacity that requires only a few sprays.

The tobacco in this reminds me of the sticky sweet wet tobaccos used in Turkish hookas. Also the benzoin has a vanilla confection sweetness to it. The heliotrope is pillowy like cotton-candy. There is a nostalgic quality about Odd Fellow's Bouquet that is warm and comforting. Though not listed in the notes, I am detecting the light smokiness of a freshly-extinguished vanilla beeswax candle accord also. Lovely, potent stuff, this is not something to douse yourself in, I wouldn't go over 2 sprays, one on each elbow and that's it.

O-M-G This smell is very pleasant and not boring with a classic and elegant character of this beautiful flask containing perfume Force and funky and lift my hat to the man who designed this smell crazy, I do not buy the fragrance from the first glance but wait to try it more than once in order to judge it good in terms of price and smell, but with this fragrance magician has bought it very quickly without any waiting. Recommend and i am sure you will love it. 10/10

Wow what a wonderful scent, the tobacco and labdanum work brilliantly together. But imo this smells nothing like Tobacco Vanille, this is perhaps closer to back to black by Kilian. The dominant notes in back to black are the tobacco and honey that's why I was surprised not to see honey listed. Anyway its a fantastic scent with good performance..9/10

There is one note in this fragrance that makes it smell like "old man." Otherwise this is a fabulous scent. It reminds me of Givenchy Pi on steroids with a touch of tobacco. You can tell it's made from the highest quality ingredients. I would recommend this fragrance for the winter season. Extremely potent. One spray and your set for the day.

One of the best from.this amazing house. A sweet tobacco with a hint of vanilated cherry and a very interesting heliotrope. Very similar with the first edotions of TF Tobacco Vanille but better in my oppinion as creation (and not just mine) with much better longevity and projection. Stunning gem!

I wish that I bought when I had the chance. I could not decided between this and "Oud Save the King." But this is really full bottle worthy. It has a magnifique nougetty unique quality that leads me crazy. Every time I wear it I feel like I made a good choice.

In a few words: a honeyed version of TF Tobacco Vanille... misteriously even that dried-fruits accord so characteristic is replicated (and not listed, neither honey). Redundant

This smells better from the bottle cap. On skin it comes across overly sweet. If you like very sweet cherry tobacco you will like this. For me it is one I will persist with.

WoW , this is great. Take Tom Ford FV remove cinnamon and you get The Odd Fellow . Very pleasant smell. definitely worth full bottle

Pipe tobacco and ash rolled in honey and dusted with baby powder. It's musty and old smelling. Not a winner.

This is so God damn gorgeous. My signature scent in 2021. 10/10.
