Amazonas Drift

I absolutely love Sauvage Elixir but being a dad of 4 on 1 income I can't bring myself to spend that on a fragrance.. I tried Lattafa Asad and thought it was too creamy with the added vanilla... Very disappointed. THIS however. Scratches the itch for me. I wish performance was a bit better.. but this is VERY close to Sauvage Elixir and is leagues above Asad. Amazonas Drift is one of my favorite scents. The dry down is fantastic. Masculine, rugged, yet clean. 👍

Sauvage Elixir clone. Nice everyday fragrance that can be worn year round. Still think Lataffa Asad is the superior clone between the two. 6.5/10.

#1123 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is trying and failing to be Dior Sauvage Elixir. Mr. Burberry EDP does the same. I think Lattafa's "Asad" and especially Gisada's "Ambassador Intense" recreate the Sauvage vibe and improve on it. This does neither. The first of my six Atralia blind buys that I would call a miss. With this scent I think they overdo the licorice a bit, which leaves it kind of dry and uninviting. It improves a lot about an hour into the dry down. So it's not bad, just not all that good, not something I find interesting that I would be a repeat buyer. Moderate longevity. Minimal projection. Car pool, elevator, small office safe as I think it will mostly go unnoticed. I'd recommend you pass this one by. Disappointing as their "Tonka Gold" and three "Equest" scents are quite nice. Avalanche is also not great, but better than this as well.
