I bought this months ago on perfumeonline.ca at a time when I couldn't confirm the notes at the time (it wasn't on fragrantica or on the brand website) and it didn't have any reviews. My immediate reaction was that it smelled like plastic and I hated it. -_____- Months later, I learned that this fragrance was a dupe of Tom Ford's Vanilla Sex and I recently took a trip to Sephora to smell and confirm if I got scammed or not. I only sprayed it once but it smelled same to me. Sweet Plastic. I don't like the smell and I can't give a percentage of accuracy as to how well it duped Tom Ford's scent since I didn't do a direct comparison and I hate both scents but I'll describe it to the best of my ability for those trying to get a read on it. The vanilla and almond is loud and almost sharp. I own Shaghaf Oud Tonka which is also vanilla, almond and flowers but it has a much more feminine scent and is louder. Sensual Vanilla is more unisex than Shaghaf Oud Tonka - You can smell some of the coconut but not nearly the same sweetness. The challenge for me is one or more of the notes combine to smell really fake and plastic. Even if i did like the smell, I think it's incredibly plain and probably meant for layering. the "sex" part must be radiating vanilla and almonds, skin scent, and a bit of earthiness. The plastic part tones down after a while so it doesn't last forever. It smells like I asked an AI 3D computer to "give me a Vanilla Cookie but not the kind older generations used to give kids in the plastic wrapper" and it spit out a Vanilla Biscuit with coconut creme with the plastic fused or melted to the cookie. The more you wear the scent its less plastic (although it still smells like that to me) and more vanilla and biscuit than creme.

I bought this on a whim since it was an open box vault on TikTok for only $10. I love love love vanilla perfumes and have a lot from Middle Eastern perfume houses, so I figured this was a safe buy. It immediately gave off Clorox toilet bowl cleaner!! Absolutely horrible. I even tried letting it macerate and still the same horrible chemical scent. I mistakenly sprayed it on my arm the first time instead of a test strip and oh my gosh, it definitely sticks around for a while. I scrubbed and scrubbed my arm trying to get it off but it literally would not leave my skin. That’s the only positive thing about this perfume.

Omg this was a big massive failed blind buy!! It smells like public toilets when I mistakenly walked into the men's toilets. That's what it smells like disgusting dirty urinals.

This is a terrible smell. I have tried to allow it to macerate & it is still terrible. Pungent

when i bought this and it arrived on october 16, 2025, it was the absolute most putrid smell i think i had ever smelled in my entire life. it was such a strong and powerful burnt plastic smell that irritated deep parts of my brain. i was so annoyed and nearly threw it away, but, something in me told me to keep it. i threw it in a drawer and left it there. it is now November 12th, 2025, and i’ve gotta say, it smells amazing. the burnt plastic smell is absolutely gone and it’s such a pleasant and likable, nutty vanilla that i can actually wear. this is only my case, but please just let it sit for a bit, forget about it for a while and i assure You it’ll be a heavy hitter when you return to it. projection is solid, and i’d say it genuinely projects for about 4-6 hours, and lasts about a total of 12 hours including skin scent. give it a wait, 8/10

Imho, a lovely dupe of Tom Fords Vanilla Sex. It’s louder & stronger though. The notes are baffling as I don’t smell the majority of them. There is a burnt rubber or plastic note but I’m with its strangeness. I believe it’s the bitter almond. . It’s well balanced with the vanilla. I smell multiple non-gourmand vanillas, a vague hint of dry coconut & the praline. The bitter notes gives way to the vanillas & its warm & almost cozy. It’s a bit dirty & animatic yet keeps it classy still. It’s sweet enough, a tad nutty & tries to a tamer vanilla extract type scent at the end. This is unusual, pretty yet a bit strange. I was surprised it’s a compliment getter as well. Signature scent worthy.

Fresh out the box this smells like a vanilla scented urinal cake... I had to buy for myself to kill my curiosity (got it for $20). My byf and his brother said they only smell vanilla. I’m going to come back to this in a month because baby right now - no mam!

Is this a dupe or does it smell better than the og? The notes look like this would smell even better! Someone try it and compare to vanilla sex pleasee

Put it in perfume purgatory for 2 months and when it comes out it is a vanilla masterpiece...
