Mr Elegance

This is my first fragrance from Atrium, and this review is a long time coming. I was intrigued by the notes and looking for an office scent around the time that Mr. Elegance was entering its final development phase. As fragrance influencers have gained popularity and several have released their own blends, some of which were good and some of which were bad, I knew that this was going to be a risk buying a bottle for the steep price tag. However, of all of the influencers I have viewed, Omar and School of Scent’s rating and perfumery biases aligned with my own the most. In essence, I trusted Omar to deliver an exceptional product. I was correct. I have had several fragrances with rose as a central note. I have never experienced one that so masterfully blends rose within the context of the other ingredients outside of Antaeus by Chanel. This is a great fragrance for office wear as well as everyday wear. While it is mature, I am not an old man, and I can wear this without feeling like I’m projecting a cognitive dissonance. I have received compliments wearing this, which is an added bonus due to the fact that this is more of personal scent for me in that it is worn as to not attract a lot of attention. This is a fragrance for someone who is established or is becoming established. It is not for high sex appeal, but it will not detract from one’s sex appeal. I could go on and on, but this was well worth the money, and every ingredient fits right in to make a truly fantastic fragrance. In short, the risk I took with blind buying paid off handsomely.

After fighting a Dark Souls boss battle with UPS to finally get my bottle here in the US I can say with confidence this was a solid blind buy. I watch as many YouTube videos as I can of Omar's and was super excited to see how this would work for me and I just love it. Carries the spirit of so many classic fragrances and most definitely has its own thing going for it and just lasts. It just has that perfect workplace vibe. I'm not going to throw a bunch of buzzwords around but this is the kind of fragrance you want to be putting on when you care about how you dress for the office or workplace. This is a Swiss Army Knife fragrance for me and I just hope that I can secure another bottle in time for this one to inevitably run out. 11/10 I hope that we see more and more from Atrium going forward. Also has an incredible atomizer. Get a sample and try it for yourself you will not regret it.

For me, this fragrance opens up very green, very herbal and masculine, this is a super mature masculine fragrance that I think suits my dad much better then myself as I am fairly young(17). I sprayed it on my wrist and he loved it. Not to say I don’t like it, this fragrance also smells very different in air then on my skin, when first sprayed it smells like a very smooth citrusy green shaving cream, while on my skin the citruses and shaving cream smell is much less pronounced but it is much smoother and I can detect more florals and the smooth almost buttery orris. The performance is exceptionally good on my skin, lasted upwards of 12 hours and projected very well for first 6. Overall I’d give a 9.5/10 Would be a ten for any mature gentleman Sadly I may have to return this due to it being $200 usd

It's beyond me how this fragrance has a 3.93 rating and 2 votes for 'very weak'. I currently own 6 Atrium fregrances being Mr Espresso the latest. I had no intentions of ever purchasing Mr Elegance as the Rose, Eucalyptus, Lime and Cedar sounded a little too Royal Mayfair (Creed) to me (which I own) so it didn't make much sense. I got a sample with my Espresso and it blew my mind! It doesn't resemble to Royal Mayfair as it emphasizes diffrent notes than the ones they have in common and it also has a modern twist that makes it more wearable than the classic and a little dated Creed. Performance is awesome as it is with all Atriums I own so, needless to say I purchased a full bottle. Is it my fave Atrium frag? Maybe, at least top 3 with Mesmeric and Espresso.

I bought this fragrance (as with all the other Atrium Fragrances) on pre-order, so I got it right away and have been wearing it for a couple months. I absolutely love it. I is a mature scent, reminiscent of classic men's scent from the 80's and 90's but with a modern touch. It lasts forever - I can still easily smell it on myself at the end of the day, and on my clothes for at least a couple days after I have worn them with several sprays on my shirt or jacket. I think it fits best in cooler climates and would be too much in summer temps. While it has some nice fruity green notes as it opens, what I love is the spicy/aromatic woody middle and base notes. Super classy. It has turned out to be my favorite of the Atrium line.

When I first tried Mr Elegance, I was not sure. After five days wearing it, it is now my favourite. It is complex, mature, masculine, and easily something to wear in the office. The exceptional quality of the ingredients shines through. The opening elevates the start of my day. It unfolds into a lovely scent that lasts about 10 hours. It makes me feel confident and special.

This is a great warm spicy fragrance with excellent use of florals. The ingredients in this are obviously the highest quality. The longevity is amazing I get over 13 hours off my skin. Being a man well in his 40's this is a perfect fragrance for everything. Excellent release Omar!

This is a very mature and masculine scent with numerous different facets to it. Each time I wear it I pick up different notes. It’s certainly a mature man’s scent, and is exceptional quality.

This is a warm spicy fragrance that would be well suited for a formal occasion or when you have a reason to dress up. For me this will be a winter/evening only fragrance. The patchouli is present throughout. It is a somewhat busy fragrance and I'm not the one to pick out all the notes listed. I have to say that when I first applied it I felt as though I'd smelled this before. Then I realized that it reminded me of Habibi's "Desert Oud". I applied them on at the same time, one on each hand, and while not identical they are very close. They are slightly different, Desert Oud is slightly more fruity, but very close. I'd spray this on lightly, it lasts all evening and need not be applied to clothes to protect longevity. This is not all that versatile but will perform well when called upon and those around you will be very pleased.

OK, Full Disclosure: I need to start by saying that I am a big fan of Omar and his YT content. I have also purchased every single one of his fragrances and I will continue to support his business and educational content. My Sincere Opinion on Mr. Elegance: It is a well crafted cologne, but one that gives a VERY mature vibe, a 60+ yr old gentleman that has his trust fund and well executed estate plan in place. I am not getting Sharp, Astute, and Physically Fit CEO vibes here. My wife feels the same about this scent. I can't find the sex appeal on this scent, but again, it is well blended, executed, and protrudes and "elegant" scent to it, hence the name, Mr. Elegance. Take my review with a grain of salt, since we all react differently to scents. I live in South West FL, USA, and I believe this would be a hit in a place that has milder temperatures such as England.

As much as I have liked, even loved, some other Atrium releases this one is a no for me. Maybe it's the combo of the eucalyptus, rose & oakmoss but something just screams that I am nowhere near old enough to wear this... The fragrance itself doesn't feel dated, just that you need to be "old" to wear it, and I say that as someone in their mid 40's, I don't think I could pull this off for another 20+ years. Hard pass on this one. 4/10 8+ hours longevity with a medium projection.

A muddled mess. Cheap smelling and very synthetic. Avoid.
