Mr Fragrant

It opens up with a lot of lavender which gives it a fresh, clean and a bit sharp smell. Almost immediately I start to smell the heart notes, galbanum and vetiver. Those give it a spicy/smoky grass smell and that’s where the greenness comes in. The musk and ambergris in the base create a smooth and sweet smell. In the dry down it all blends nicely together and then I get a blue/green mix, like a fresh out of the shower scent. In my opinion it leans more green than blue. When I smell it close to my skin it can tingle my nose sometimes because of the spicy grassiness that I get. I like it the most when I smell it in the air. After 10 hours of applying someone mentioned that he could still smell me when I walked by him. Also, after taking a shower I could still detect it on my wrist. On my skin the projection is soft throughout the whole wearing but the strongest in the first 2 hours. Overall it’s a well-balanced, versatile, mature and unique niche fragrance which I never smelled before. Despite the fact that I already own some fresh and versatile fragrances, it really is a good addition to my collection.

Just got my sample of Mr. Fragrant. It smells high quality and potent. As for the scent, the lavender musk and ambergris smell made me think of Prada Luna Rosa Carbon. The musky, lavender ambrox smell has a very new age shaving cream smell much like LRC. I would describe this as a niche Luna Rosa Carbon. I think because it is missing the big dollop of sweetness that kids these days like, has a quite earthy style of patchouli and the large dose of lavender is why people are saying it smells mature. But honestly the people saying that can stick to their Azzaro & Paco Robanne frags. This is way more sophisticated. I would say this suits a well established, confident career driven man who is into frags and is bored of the sauvage, YSL Y and BdC designer stuff. Very classy but safe enough for daily wear. In conclusion, it’s a great release and I’m exited to smell the rest of his releases.

I was one of the backers of this fragrance at Kickstarter. As a whole, I like it. It was advertised as a blue fragrance but comparing this to Sauvage, YSL Y EDP, Hawas, BDC EDP I found this not blue at all. It’s an old school barbershop style scent that reminds me of some of the shaving creams I use. Smell wise, this is a very masculine fragrance and might be too manly for dates unless you’re dating someone who is into guys with “daddy vibes.” So definitely it’s not for those first date kind of thing. Longevity is good (at least 8 hours), sillage is moderate. It’s not very projecting and I can barely smell it under my mask. With this I find this very office appropriate. This is not blind buy safe due to its scent profile. Not mass pleasing, but definitely a very wearable scent for more mature guys. Due to its limited run, I might get a back up bottle on its second release.

Well done Omar! Mr. Fragrant is a modern class take on a barbershop fragrance. It’s masculine, fresh, with some sweetness. I immediately pick up Roja Scandal similarities in Mr. Fragrant which I adore but a bit easier to wear and more overall appealing. Scandal is more animalic and leans more grown up where I can see a younger person enjoying Mr. Fragrant. This is a year round fragrance that is unique in the fact that it’s a niche but also can be enjoyed by many. It’s doesn’t smell like everything else. You can dress this up or wear a polo shirt and jeans and be good with it. I feel confident, fresh, and in control when wearing this fragrance. It’s not going to give you a ton of compliments but you may recieve some. Overall, well done Omar. I enjoy your youtube channel. You seem genuine in wanting to help the buyer. I own 7 from atrium and tried around 3 others but this is still my favourite in line and easily in my top 15 from my collection. I've got first version so don't know if current is similar. Amazing green spring fragrance but could wear all year apart from high heat which in UK isn't really a thing. Leans more mature I'd say 30+. Longevity is brilliant and good projection aswell. I get average 12+ hours. Quality in 1st version is amazing and promoted as an edp but is actually high parfum/extrait concentration. Sorry I'm no good at describing pacific notes but very refined and I get a vintage vibe and memories from childhood in 70's and 80's. Would easily sell for loads more if it was a kilian etc and for price atrium stuff is amazing. So pleased to have 1st version in my collection and will have to find a sample of current version to compare

To my nose, the vetiver and gallbanum make themselves known quite early on, thus laying the foundation for this scent. Although musky and woody throughout, the woods give way to the lavender where I assume the freshness comes from. The level of freshness reminds me somewhat of Armani Code EDP, although this feels a bit more mature than Armani Code, which I like (shares a similar level of versatility with Armani Code). The musk, patchouli, and ambergris add a nice earthy richness. This lasts a good while as well, I'd say in the 7-9 hour range. This was a very timely release as I was looking for something woody yet fresh. Checked all the boxes for a fresh scent that could cut through the cold but could very well work in the spring. Very fair price as well. Well done!

Really like Omar and his content he seems a really genuine guy, so I was pleased to order a sample of his new frag Mr. Fragrant. I agree with Omar’s take on frags around 90% of the time so I looked forward to receiving this. Lavender sometimes reacts badly on my skin hence only ordering the sample. It’s a manly, clean, soapy, barbershop style scent with fair projection & longevity. It actually reminds me of the smell of my skin after bathing with blue radox bath salts, it’s along those lines so if you like that smell (which I do) you’ll love this. The lavender turns slightly bitter on my skin which is my only complaint but that’s my skin not the frag. A really decent start as a first fragrance. To my nose 8/10

Update: The more time I've spent with this over the past months the more I keep noticing how similar it is to Lalique Pour Homme with the good old lion head bottle. It also smells like Creed's Bois du Portugal. Mr Fragrant is ultimately a clone! A kind of expensive one too! Even so I still support my original statement below. I love this fragrance! It smells so fresh and clean. I think it's very versatile and can be used as a daily driver. Price point is ok... You get good performance for the money. I was able to smell it on me after working for 10 hours. I get plenty of compliments as well. Definitely add this to your collection you won't be disappointed.

Wasn't sure what to expect, being the first "youtuber" fragrance in my collection. But I was plesantly suprised when I unboxed Mr Fragrant, it's a simple, sleek bottle that feels good in the hand. On first use it's a blast of woody, earthy notes. I don't get a lot of orange, but the lavender is definitely there. It's a nice dry down, it settles to a nice mix of the vetiver and patchouli, projection of 1-2 feet. I'm getting a good 10 hours out of the fragrance and am happy with the purchase. Although I will say I'm not sure why it was pushed as a "blue" style fragrance, definitely more "green" in my opinion.

I've been using the fragrance for a few months now. I've started wearing Mr.Fragrant to dates recently to test its versatility. I wore it on 3 separate dates over other popular ones I have such as Stronger With You, Dior Homme, Givenchy Gentlemen reserve privee. All 3 women told me multiple times over the night how amazing I smell. One even took my travel atomiser and asked me if she could keep it to smell it constantly! This is a magic potion, considering it is "just" an everyday fragrance! This one has been an undeniable hit and I am amazed how well it is performing!! Absolutely love it!

This is the most versatile fragrance I now own. It reminds me of an old-school barbershop scent only more refined with the sharp, unwanted edges removed. Off of my skin, I get citrus, floral and grassy notes. It is a mature, masculine fragrance that exudes class and confidence without being overbearing. I could wear this anytime or for any occasion except at the beach or gym. For me, it is above average on all counts. 8.5/10

This is a truly beautiful fragance. At first i was worried about not liking this fragance. Because with my experience with PDM greenley I thought I did not like green fragances but this stuff has my faith restored. It smells like a really masculine spa. Also it is safe to wear yet unique and those are my favourite kind of fragances. The ones that smell unique and are people pleasing have a special place in my heart!

Unique scent - clean, smooth, & fresh. Best after a shower. Lasts on the skin for at least 7 hours and eternal on clothes until washed. I knew this was a gem when a friend of mine who happens to also collect perfumes asked me for its name. Given it's exclusivity and rarity, I will be using this sparingly even though it was designed to be used as a daily. Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Scent: 9/10 Overall: 8.5/10

Comes across as very green and elegant to me. Reminds me of Bois Du Portugal. I definitely don’t get a bleu fragrance vibe, however. It may smell too mature for the younger crowd but well done nonetheless. I do not understand the outright hate for this fragrance or any other Youtuber’s fragrance. Bizarre apish behavior from weak minded people in my opinion.

Great fragrance. Barbershop style. Sharp, fresh, potent, masculine and woody. Longevity is fantastic on my skin. Its marketed as a blue fragrance, which Im unsure about, but if you are looking for a great all-rounder, Mr Fragrant will work for you. If you are a younger guy, try a sample before you buy it ;-)

Nice warm scent, very masculine and long lasting. I spray this on for work, went to gym came home had a shower and was still getting a whiff of it. Longevity for me it’s eternal and it’s a very versatile scent. It does smell mature and it might not be everyone’s taste. Excellent scent all round.

I fell in like with this right away and it became my daily immediately. I’m very happy with this blind purchase and it feels like more of a cool weather or evening wear.

I was never a huge fan of Omar, I followed his channel and found some of his content ok but with time it started to get more of my attention. When I found out about his kickstarter campaign I hesitated but after getting to know more of him, starting to really like his content, his expertise and insight I went back to back him up and I'm glad I did. Nowadays I really enjoy watching his videos but in fragrantica that doesn't matter, it's all about fragrances and I want to share my first impressions. I got Mr Fragrant yesterday as my bottle was sent to Miami and then forwarded to Costa Rica so I'm wearing for the first time and I'm really liking it. The fragrance opens with a blast of lavender and vetiver, that's all I could get. It's very earthy and masculine, a little old school (in a good way) but soon after I start to get some sweetness and some creaminess. Not sure what's causing that but it's very pleasing, it adds new layers, a modern twist that makes it far more versatile. I can't discuss performance at this time but I'll be sure to update once I've tested it more but so far this is certainly a winner and I'm glad to have a 100ml of the goodness **Edit: Longevity for me is between 8 and 9 hours with fairly decent projection. I can't understand why this is rated so low, this fragrance with the quality it has at a 3.27 score is beyond me but it usually happens with fragrances by youtubers. People rate on the popularity of the creator and not on the quality of the product. Such a shame people are so emotional with reviews. Kudos Omar!

I find this to be a very vetiver forward fragrance, from opening until dry down. I like vetiver as a note and so I don't mind this but it is because of this I feel it is better described as a green fragrance. Still, it is wearable in most any situation or season and so I guess it meets the standards for a blue fragrance. Perhaps the powers that be will come up with a "teal" fragrance. For me the lavender note is a stand out as well, the other notes are not as pronounced. It is a very pleasing fragrance but I would not over apply. It lasts more than a work day with a subtle but sizeable scent bubble. Very impressed with this fragrance and looking forward to more from the line.

This is a classy fragrance that is very masculine because of the vetiver. You'll get moderate projection with 6-8 hours of longevity, Worth a try! It comes at a reasonable price too, definitely sample before you commit to it though. I can already see a bunch of haters who don't even have the fragrance yet still give it a horrible rating just because this is a Youtuber's frag. I get it guys ya'll are envious of his success, do the frag community a favor and not be a lame human. Oh yes, I'm talking about you!

Mister Fragrant is an appropriate name for very masculine frag. Otherwise it’s okay on first sniff, not quite for me but congratulations Omar, I like your content a lot, and you’ve done a great job at your first fragrance.

Solid scent. Very easy for me to wear for most any occasion. Holidays dressed up or just a trip to the store. I'd say it leans barbershop with some sweet and darker woody notes blended in. Easy 8/10 for me

I got the sample about 3 weeks ago and have sample it. Found it to be a very pleasant and clean sceant Had a couple of compliments from work to Overall it a great fragrance for a everyday use

I do like this scent. It’s very versatile and that’s what I like most about it. It reminds me a lot of Armani Code Parfum, which isn’t a bad scent at all either!

I may be in the minority in this opinion, but to my nose this smells like a photorealistic suede accord. I get new suede jacket from this scent.

Starts of earthy, a bit like lemongrass but definitely gets ALOT better once settled. do recommend buying it's worth it

Mr. Fragrant is a modern take on a timeless DNA, the aromatic fougere. Nothing exceptionally groundbreaking here but a fine interpretation of a classic masculine fragrance. It would be a miss not to compare this fragrance with Naughton & Wilson's Gravitas Pour Homme seeing as they share the same perfumer, John Stephen, a similar price point and have a very similar note profile & overall vibe. Gravitas keeps the classic oakmoss in the base and adds the unique vanilla in the dry down that I've not experienced in other fougeres. Mr. Fragrant foregoes the oakmoss all together in favour of a dry, earthy vetiver in it's place. I wasn't sure about it at first reading of the note breakdown but it really works quite well and seeing as I prefer vetiver to oakmoss in general this was a welcome change. If you already own Gravitas Pour Homme then adding Mr. Fragrant to your collection would be redundant and unneeded. However, if you are in search for a fougere to add to your collection but would like a more modern take on it then this could easily fit that use. Will probably fit more in a 30+ crowd as I can't see the younger guys enjoying this as much. Longevity is decent at around 7-8 hours with a moderate projection. Overall I'd give it a 7/10, it's a little too dry/earthy for my personal taste and I'd love to see it brightened up a bit with more aromatics, perhaps some clary sage and/or geranium so it wasn't so dark, definitely one for rainy days not not summer sun.

I'm sure Omar is constantly looking at this page to see what people have to say. I'd be the same way. Sadly, there is very little in the way of reviews for this product. It looks like there's a dichotomy in the reviews with lots of "this is amazing" and many "this is awful." It's strange that I'm in the middle ground, but I find people are more like to voice their discontentment than they are to voice their contentment. I'm hoping my "one more review" will offer some insight into a curious buyer. This is advertised as a blue, everyday fragrance but I hardly get that. This is a green and earthy fragrance and the accords above verify that. It is patchouli prominent in my opinion. If you are a fan of patchouli and vetiver, you will enjoy this. That being said, it smells exactly like the note breakdown above. It is an honest and transparent fragrance. It's a minty, grassy, earthy fragrance that reminds me of yard work. Performance is proper, at least 6hr longevity on my skin with solid sillage at merely 4 sprays. Had a friend say I smell like grass or a hiking trail and he asked what I was wearing. I told him it was called Mr Fragrant, and he said it should be called Mr Outdoors.

I bought a sample but will not be buying a bottle. Not because it is bad - it isn't. This fragrance does not suit me and is not to my taste. This could be a very serviceable daily fragrance for some. It is very masculine and is better suited to a mature demographic. The Ambergris is quite dominant on my skin. And after 5 hours it was starting to make me feel sick. Mr Fragrance does perform really well in terms of longevity and silage I appreciate that Atrium is trying to make high quality fragrances at a more accessible price point and Mr. Fragrance is far more affordable than some similar fragrances. However once postage is included it costs around $200 AUD. There are other vetiver fragrances that while not smelling the same, do serve a similar function (daily, office wear, for a mature age group) that I prefer and cost less.

Wore this for a full day at work, sprayed on at 8am and lasted til I had a shower after the gym straight from work (about 5pm) although it was pretty much just a skin scent by then, for the first 30 mins it is a very earthy vetiver scent but after that a nice blue hint starts to shine through, it definitely smells highly quality, I really enjoyed it, great scent to add to my collection 👍🏻

I really like Omar and his videos, and have spoken to him personally over social media. However I really really dislike this fragrance. I had to wash it off. Smells like a horrendous version of Dior Fahrenheit, which I already dislike. Maybe someone who isn’t in their mid 20s would like this, but I certainly hate it.

Its a pleasant and clean fragrance. I use it everyday to work, or meeting up with friends. It lasts a good 6 - 7 hrs on my skin. Some complained it is not strong enough. I am glad it isn't as it would be more suitable to clubbing or going parties.

Got my sample of Mr.Fragrant yesterday, and I've got to say I'm getting heavy bath salt vibes off this. I really can't shake the smell of bath salts off the perfume. This has got nothing to do with Omar being a YouTuber, rather I'm approaching the perfume from the perspective of someone reviewing a scent, not a brand. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would love this scent, personally I'm not a big fan Credit where credit is due; the Longevity & Sillage is pretty incredible, but the price is fairly high.

I tried this as soon as it came out, unfortunately every time i have worn it it has given me a headache. It is very strong on my skin, it lasts easily for 6 hours, but it is simply not suitable for me. If it did not give me a headache i would be wearing it frequently.

Immediately had to give this one away. Surprisingly had hard time giving this away, folks just weren't digging it at all. In a sea of vetivers and fougeres, this is just a very lackluster and disappointing entry into a saturated market. I've bought a few fragrances based on Omar's recommendations and was excited to try out what he was churning out. Lesson learned, don't by into any initial hype, get decants before pulling the trigger, and for the love don't pre-order fragrances...looking at you Mr. Romantic

Buying subs, buying good reviews, sending free bottles to fellow youtube shills to praise it, and you in turn praise their own repackaged off the shelf garbage. Yeah, a influencer fragrance classic.

So the two people under me have said they distrust some of the reviews from reviewers on this page that only have one review (I clicked on a bunch and this is true). At the same time they both have only 1-2 reviews themselves. I wish I could get a sample of this to try in the USA and that in itself is kinda weird (sold out? weak sauce). Plus all the foolery on this page is ridiculous. Not a review just my two cents. This is frustrating cause I LOVE me a good vetiver.

ladies and gentlemen when you are giving an opinion it doesn't matter if you like Omar or not, you are reviewing his fragrance. I don't mind the fragrance but not excited by it at all. it smells to mature for it to be versatile, definately not mass appealing.

As usual everyone hating because a YouTuber is doing something good. Almost every YT fragrance gets destroyed by reviewers on here before they even get a smell, unfortunate that some people are that miserable.

@Gaybee you call this an unremarkable fougere/green scent in this market. What did you want him to do, make an ambroxan bomb blue scent? We have plenty of those. Its hard to please the fragrance community.

First impression....this is pretty damn good. Has an Aventus/TDH feel. Very strong on the orange/vetiver. MAAAAS appeal for a niche audience.
