Skin Musk

Ce parfum, sur papier, n'était pas sensé produire un tel effet sur moi, mais je dois dire qu'il m'a attrapée et ne m'a plus lâchée ! 😉 Il est sucré sans être mièvre, rond, charnel, enveloppant, sensuel, comme une peau vibrante, riche, comme velouté. Projection et longévité au top. Les notes d'ouverture sont clairement fruitées. Il y a notamment de la pêche, mais on a l'impression qu'il s'agit de la peau de la pêche avec le velouté qui va avec. L'amande ici est bien dosée, elle se fond avec le fruit et n'est donc pas écoeurante. Au bout de quelques minutes les autres notes arrivent, la rose mentionnée étant heureusement, de discrète. Le musc, la vanille, le bois, tout se finit pas se fondre comme par magie sur votre peau, comme si cette dernière était l'ultime ingrédient tenu secret, et là il devient magique pour des heures. Il a également cette particularité de se faire sentir par petite touches régulières et intermittentes comme les pulsations du coeur. Bref, attention parfum magique, donc addictif !

This is perhaps one of the most ethereal and beautiful musk fragrances I've smelled in years. Enveloping peach skin with an almond note that is powdery rather than nutty, a hint of citrus and a gorgeous jasmine! The dry down on my skin gives the smoothness of tonka with a beautiful vanilla base, all hugged by the musk giving it that ethereal smell. I know fragrances are subjective, after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder; but I truly hope people could experience this fragrance at the level I do because it is truly something else. I spent 8 months searching for it in the states until it was finally available. I do not add a fragrance to my collection unless I love it and have done at least a 3-day wear-test to ensure it's not just the novelty... this one has a backup.

Powder powdery powder poof 💨💨💨💨 And I ADORRRRRRRRE her!!!!! The most intoxicating elegant ethereal powder fragrance and my fave next to Oud Satin Mood Extrait. Two sprays max or you will choke the room out but it’s so sweet and classic. I get an image of a woman sitting at a vanity wearing a lace trimmed silk chemise using one of those vintage furry powder puffs on wand to powder her décolletage before she dresses or gets ready for bed. Completely intoxicating!

This is so freaking good. I will never not have this in my collection. In my top 3 musks (Musk Therapy and Musc K will always have my heart). Amazing on its own and layers so well (I personally adore it with added apricot or peach in warm weather). For those looking for a 1:1 dupe get Musk Mob from Heist Fragrances. Spot on and there's a matching butter and oil (but the body oil is always annoyingly sold out so I can't review it til I get one).

Indescribably gorgeous, ultra feminine. Ethereal and grounding all at once. An instant love. You need a couple of wears to get to know it. I recommend it to everyone lol. Extremely powdery with a bit of peach, citrus and florals at the top, then a nutty backbone all the way down. Slightly synthetic, crazy good sillage and longevity. Immediately hunted for a FB. Pricey, but worthy considering the quality, sillage, longevity.

Paradox: the name is Skin Musk but it's one of the most loud perfumes I tried, it projects a lot, it's so intoxicating and powdery at the same time, but nice powdery with some musk in it. In the first minutes you will feel sweetness with heavy flowers, after 20-30 min powder and musk will come. So it's like rose- musk combination for me and it's beautiful. Smell expensive and attractive in the same time

Ethereal, sweet fluffy peachy musk. Reminiscent of Dama Bianca but more fruity and sweet. But the best part is that it's a musky skin scent with actual projection and lasting power. Love the scent. Don't love the price.

The name Skin Musk made me expect another quiet "clean skin" musk that eventually turns into laundry detergent or fabric softener. Thankfully, this is so much more. Rose, peach, bergamot and magnolia blend into a warm, radiant composition that's feminine, uplifting and incredibly flattering. If this fragrance had a color, it would be a palette of soft pastels somewhere between cream, blush pink and apricot.

Pretty, a tad bit cloying for my taste as it’s not a Glossier or Ella K clean musk but more of a vanilla musk. Sample worthy for sure, potent and not a skin, overspray scent

This is pretty-ish and VERY POWDERY musk fragrance that leans firmly femme. I like the opening of this fragrance, it is a fresh burst of fruits and florals with a hint of citrus but it also has that weird nail polish remover smell in the background that is awful... Later, this settles into a powdery and sweet almond fragrance with a hint of milk chocolate (I know it’s not in the notes but that’s how my nose interprets it). And of course, the musk note is enveloping and ever present from beginning to end. Overwhelming in a way. Also note that this is very potent. I did one tiny spray on my arm and it stayed there forever and projected also for a long while. It’s definitely a fragrance to sample and not blind buy safe. Not a love, but I’m glad I tried it.

The first time I tried it, I liked it quite a bit but after that, I found the scent to be very similar to other perfumes that I have and definitely not unique in its dry down. Oddly it comes off citrusy on me and not very musk like. It's insanely expensive for what it is as well. I'd get a small decant or sample to try it before committing to a bottle.

I don’t hate this, but there’s something about it all that just doesn’t feel well blended like it starts powdery goes sweet ends powdery and a bit screechy but there are times in between where I think I’m in love. It’s not blind but safe but this is one I can see people loving... or hating,

This is a bright sparkling, peachy, Rose musky fragrance. It’s not as strong as I was expecting but it’s also a lot sweeter than I was expecting. The blending seems to lack the subtlety that I was looking for. I have a sample, not sure that I would would buy the full 100ml bottle.

At first I enjoyed the journey from fresh musk to gourmand elegance. After some days of use the musk becomes too much and the dry down loses its charm and the scent starts to annoy. 7/10

Veronique's description on YouTube, portraying it as an amazing fragrance, initially drew me in. My initial impression of this perfume is a powdery scent with hints of peach, citrus, and florals. However, on my skin, it transformed into something akin to cheap deodorant ( terrible), a complete mismatch with my pH. My thoughts on Skin Musk: Very hyped common scent profile and unsuitable for hot weather. Thankfully, I only purchased a large decant from Scentsplit; otherwise, I would have wasted money on a full bottle. Ultimately, it becomes hideous and intense on my skin, and the price is outrageous for what it is. Sorry, I know others enjoy it, and it likely smells wonderful on them.

I bought a sample of this due to all the hype this has gotten and it was an instant dislike for me. To me it has a nauseating chemical/synthetic smell, it’s very strong and beast mode, which I don’t like in general, and for a musk fragrance in particular. It reminds me of Valaya Exclusif and also Blanche Bete. They are not the same but they share a similar DNA, which is not to my liking. I sprayed this on a strip in the early evening and it was still projecting the following morning, filling the room with the smell. The drydown is sharp synthetic ambroxan. If you want a truly soft beautiful musk, try The Musc by Essential Parfums (affordable!) or Musk Therapy by Initio.

Such a cheap screechy, scratchy musk - and for the price of this, that’s simply unforgivable. Reminds me of the musk you get in Narciso Rodriguez perfumes. Sure it lasts long as everyone notes - but surely performance isn’t the only reason to buy a fragrance when it’s smells like this. It’s a synthetic musk fragrance with powdery nuances, hard to detect any naturals at all or specific notes here - it’s all one big mash. There’s better ways to waste your money

I ordered 5 samples and one of them was Skin Musk. Skin Musk turned out to be so strong and overwhelming that I couldn’t really smell the rest of my samples. My house smelled like it for a day. It’s too much, just a recipe for headache.

First, not a skin scent! It’s a bit nuclear - and I realize that’s a positive for some, not for me. I’m also getting a white floral bomb (very magnolia forward!) that drowns out the peach and almond. Big no for me.

Everyone’s skin chemistry is different, but on my skin this turns into one of the softest, most ethereal musk fragrances I’ve smelled in a long time. It opens with a beautiful powdery sweetness — airy musk wrapped in a delicate almond note that feels smooth and velvety rather than overly nutty. The peach adds a soft skin-like warmth, while the jasmine and hint of citrus keep it luminous and elegant. As it dries down, the bourbon vanilla and tonka become creamy and comforting, all blended into this incredibly soft, clean musk cloud that feels cozy, feminine, and addictive. I personally get a sweet, powdery, soft musk more than anything else, and I’m completely in love with it. That said, this is not a weak “barely there” skin scent on me — it’s actually a bit stronger than I expected for this style of fragrance. It has a very noticeable musky aura that lingers beautifully and gives it a more luxurious presence. It’s the kind of fragrance that makes you want to keep smelling yourself all day because it feels warm, fluffy, elegant, and comforting all at once. My only complaint is the price — at around $325 a bottle, it definitely feels expensive for a soft musk fragrance — but honestly, the scent itself is so beautiful that I can still understand why people fall hard for it.

Y’all... this smells like what I think Clair Huxtable would smell like. Soft, feminine, approachable, and elegant, she handles her business and she has money. That’s exactly what this fragrance gives me. The powdery opening reminds me of a wealthy woman’s bathroom almost but in a good way. Beautiful lighting, huge mirrors, fresh towels, everything perfectly decorated and spotless. Not a bathroom you want to rush out of. The kind where you stand there a little longer than necessary because it just feels good to be in the space. As it dries down, it gets sweet, creamy, and delicate while somehow still being noticeable. It’s not screaming for attention, but people will smell you. It’s not a “look at me” fragrance. It’s a “come closer” fragrance. And this might be controversial, but I think this is what Valaya wanted to be. The clean girl luxury, expensive skin, effortlessly put-together vibe. The difference is that Skin Musk feels natural. It doesn’t feel like it’s trying to convince you it’s luxurious—it just is. Where Valaya can come across a little too polished or self-aware, Skin Musk feels warm, lived-in, and believable. This smells like a woman who has her life together. Fresh, clean, polished, and feminine. For me, this is what a true skin scent should be.

All I can say is - this is one of the most beautiful fragrances I have ever smelled. I got a 9ml decant from Scentsplit and I am utterly, completely in love. I'a sucker for powder scents but this is not your typical baby powder scent. This is powdery in a very modern elevated way. The bergamot and peach put a fresh spin to it and stop it from becoming cloying. Then the jasmine pulls through but is not indolic. This is a transparent, bubbly, flirty jasmine. Jasmine is one of my favorite floral notes and is done masterfully here. I can smell the magnolia but not much rose but I'm not mad about it. The dry down is super pleasant and carries the musc and woody notes but musc is more prominent. I can detect the tonka bean, maybe a slight vanilla in the dry down but musc is center stage. The name is deceiving as this is not a skin scent by any means. It is a loud but beautiful fragrance with excellent sillage and longevity. I would picture this as a modern coorporate bad ass women that sits in a room full of people and commands respect.

I'm completely perplexed. There's nothing skin-like/musky/powdery about it. It's nuclear, and reminds me of grape bubblegum - it's got heavy, heavy jasmine in it and Tonka - it's verrrry similar to Dirty Heaven from BTSO - was *not* expecting that. First impression is that the peach and jasmine make it smell quite dated vs something like Dirty Heaven. It's also VERY synthetic - reminds me of jasmine incense. I prefer Dirty Heaven to this, so if you want a slightly less expensive version (but still insanely expensive) and less dated, get BTSO dirty Heaven. Update: half an hour later - it's a powdery,Tonka, almond-y musk - similar to Narciso Musc Nude. I personally wouldn't buy this. You can buy both Narciso Pure Musc and Dirty Heaven and have money to spare.

Ugh I love this 🤍🦢 reminds me of “The Swan” from The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint Saëns graceful ballet piece that evokes a swan gliding effortlessly across the water. Soft powder, airy musk, floating around you like swan feathers drifting through the air. like a ballerina, whose movements appear effortless despite the incredible strength behind them, this fragrance hides remarkable power beneath its softness. It projects like a beast while never losing its delicate aura. It glides over the skin like swan feathers, leaving behind a silky, powdery musk with a peachy veil that clings for hours. lingers and floats like a slow pirouette en retiré appearing impossibly ethereal and delicate, yet powered by extraordinary strength.

I am blindsided by this beautiful fragrance. I love clean laundry detergent type fragrances so I wasn't sure this would be for me and I should not have blind bought it but I'm impulsive so here we are! However, I love it! It is a soft, fruity, floral and vanilla musk. I am finding it romantic and feminine. If she had a voice it would be sweet and husky. Someone said 'sultry' in an earlier review and I completely agree. The woman who wears this is the antithesis of a 'pick me'. She'll draw you without trying. She's not intoxicating but beguiling. Mystery and magic. She could be my new signature but I'm gatekeeping if anyone asks.

This is such a sexy, ultra feminine, musk scent. This is definitely no skin scent despite the name, it’s powerful juice that only need a few sprays to create a long lasting scent trail. Definitely a compliment getter and a man magnet lol. Skin musk is very powdery and very musky. Sweet vanilla and almond, not cloying but could be overbearing if you over spray too much. I don’t get much rose, more jasmine to my nose but the florals aren’t the star of the fragrance on me, after 20 mins or so they fade into the background. It’s mostly a powdery, almond, vanilla, slightly citrus, musk bomb. Love it!

Juicy peach and sweet almond paired with a clean musk. It smells like an upgraded and hardcore version of all the clean sweet peach shampoo like scents out there. It’s not obnoxious nor screechy like Kirke and it’s far more potent than Radiant Nectar. This is a sweet clean, but potent scent for someone who lives in a lavish resort type home in the hot Moroccan desert, or in screaming cold Russian weather, where a mere normal clean skin scent just would’t suffice, so a potent opulent one is needed. Here it is.

Skin Musk is a fragrance that should represent our intimacy projected in a perfume: a sweet, innocent intimacy but with something extremely sensual. The protagonists at the opening are the peach (which I feel is juicy and very sweet) and the powdery notes, framed by hints of vanilla and white flowers. The result is a fruity and very sweet fragrance, which unfortunately does not represent my intimacy. It has high projection and duration, ideal for lovers of the genre.

I was told this was amazing. But all I’m getting is nail polish mixed with a fruity hair product. Smells like a nail salon. I also get a cleaning product smell mixed in also. Like a fruity scented Lysol spray. Update: it got better as it dried down and became more of a fruity powdery almond but still something weird in the background that reminds me of a cleaning spray. After I had it on for a few hours it began to remind me of a sweeter version of Junoon Noir.

I want to eat a candy that tastes how this smells. Sweet, powdery coconut (like a coconut mochi with the rice flour outside and coconut paste inside) something tart and juicy lemony, and vanilla. I know there’s no coconut note posted but to me it is for sure giving coconut. She’s cute!! Definitely a beach day scent - would layer beautifully with sunscreen smell

It opens incredibly powdery with a sweet undertone. It’s almost like a almond body lotion with added sweetness. Think 70% pure powder 20% fruits 10% almond. The composition is just off... and that being said, the name “skin musk” doesn’t fit AT ALL. Its a bit too much for my liking. The drydown is better though, only it takes hours to get to that stage.

Pretty, feminine, sweet powdery musk. Synthetic and heavy it might trigger a migraine if oversprayed. I am not sure about this one. It is pretty but feels harsh on the nose and sinuses, it is a highly synthetic scent. Will keep the sample but I doubt I will get a full bottle.

Not at all what I was expecting. Smells cheap and synthetic. Disappeared within the hour.
