Areej

Initial spray was sickeningly powdery. I let the bottle sit for a bit and it has mellowed out to a pretty, delicate, powdery but not too powdery, floral but not too floral. I think it's a great buy as a soft your skin but better scent along with Musk Kashmir. I definitely wouldn't pay the advertised retail price though, purchase through one of the discounter sites. Edit: applied 5 sprays this morning around 800 and now 9pm still catching comforting wafts of this; the longevity is there. I'm also realizing the warm comforting dry down scent bubble from Areej is what I had expected missing person to be, which I ended up hating.

I really have a perfume type. Anything powdery I must have it. I blind bought this fragrance and received it today. Sprayed it on skin and it immediately reminded me of something I already own WIDIAN White. I'm not mad at my purchase . I should of tested it first instead of blind buying.At least the bottle is gorgeous. I'll see if it manages to last a bit longer than Widian white which lasts on my skin only about 3 hours.I love wearing fragrances like this when I want to feel comforted and stress-free. It's that warm blanket cuddly feeling but in a fragrance.

Pretty in a good girl kind of way. This is very inoffensive and gentle. There is a make up powder smell in this that is the most prominent and then a very translucent rose water (to me). My husband is crazy about this one and it is an easy wear in any season, but I don’t think it’s incredibly unique or has a bold statement. Incredible lasting power and gentle sillage. I enjoy wearing this one and I find myself reaching for it often.

It is very girly and very sweet powdery floral. I am not sure if I really like powdery scents, but this one is good. It reminds me of Amouage - Blossom Love, seems they both have that sweet floral cherry blossom. Only Areej is more sweet and the beautiful fresh floral doesn't last as long as not that nice sweet musk base (not a fan of musk) . However, the opening to middle of the wears I really enjoy, how fresh, girly, floral and sweet it is. Like some nice pretty pink deodorant, which actually last.also it has a touch of something oriental in it, but it works pretty well.

Musky floral skin cream turned to a powder, you really get that talc effect head on. Gets sweeter on my skin, despite the strength when first sprayed it's not overwhelming. Every season works, spring and autumn especially.

As an owner and lover of Peut-Etre Lancome I affirm that Areej is very very similar. I'm surprised that it's possible. If you have Peut-Etre - skip this one, if you choose btw 2 - please prefer Peut-Etre just because.

Delicate powder. It’s an easy everyday fragrance and it could be confused as a natural fragrant that’s projecting from your hair and clean clothes. Longevity is 3 hours, very poor!

I've had this on my skin for about 20 minutes and sadly this is already a No. The opening is a citrusy rose though I don't see citrus listed. In the beginning this smells synthetic like some type of air freshener. Now that the opening is fading it's more powdery but all I can still smell is rose and it still smells artificial and too much like a cleaning product. 😐

Woah. All I get is sweet powder (can't really detect any specific notes) and it is strooonng. Nearly 24 hours later I can still smell it quite clearly.

When it comes to clean, powdery musks, I prefer them to shroud me like a delicate veil. It is the effect I get with Mizensir's Musc Eternel and Trussardi's My Name (and no- none of these perfumes smell alike to me), but Areej came across sharper. I can see what the reviewer below means by this reminding her of nail salons, and I am guessing it comes from the magnolia. I've given Areej a full wear test twice, and my husband complimented me both times without realizing I was wearing the same fragrance. I rarely get such enthusiastic, unprompted compliments from him on my perfume, so I'm lowkey disappointed in my nose for not enjoying this more, lol. I think, had I not already had the 2 fragrances mentioned above, I would be a bigger fan. It may not be 100% for me, but I can definitely see this as a signature scent for someone with a taste for clean, magnolia fragrances on the more mature side.

I’ve hoped that the reason for not so high rating here is Areej being challenging - turns out it’s just mediocre. Areej is very lotion-y, light, sweet vanilla and floral scent with noticeable musk and barely any powder (it is as powdery as vanilla and florals can get). That light and very sweet vanilla is supported by wet feeling of violet leaf and a touch of rose and magnolia. Not much else is going on. Sadly no talcum for me; even powdery notes are not powdery enough for my liking. Although the scent is lightweight, it lasts whole day and has a stable moderate projection. Transitional weather, daytime, very feminine, more like staying at home and doing something around the house scent, comforting and rather linear.

Tender, delicate, slightly powdery scent. Clean and feminine, soft musk, little talc, floral vanilla. It is very soft and discrete. I like it, it's something simple but very comforting, office friendly. I think it's nice.

The first spray honestly reminded me of the smell in nail salons. But it dries down to a very pretty warm floral, almost cashmere like. I kept smelling where I had sprayed it bc the dry down is really pretty.

I wish they will have 30 ml or at least 50 ml...
