Fleur de Santal

Fleur de Santal opens with a rich, dry, and creamy texture that leans gourmand. The initial sweetness comes from the blend of pear and milk, creating a perfectly balanced lactonic quality. I have tried a lot of milky fragrances, I adore this note, but I was surprised how realisticly lactonic this one is. The sandalwood here is smooth and buttery and the pink pepper note adds this exciting spiciness to it. What really elevates the fragrance is the mineral, slightly green stream running underneath everything, it is the same cool, damp mossy stone feeling you get from Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford or Bois Imperial by Essential Parfums, it cuts through all that creaminess and makes the fragrance feel warm and cold at the same time. I love this contrast - the lactonic warmth, the smooth woody depth and that clean, almost old-school shaving cream mineral thread. Vivid, sexy and fluid.

I love this so much! This is the perfect sweet milky sandalwood skin like scent, I get some milky coconut vibe about it, I think it might be the argan oil. I blind bought this without thinking how much I would love this. This is so so good! I haven’t smelled the Loewe so I can’t compare just yet but going to. I see the comparison to Santal Basmati but I think it’s more sandal wood, this one is more creamy milky sweet. It’s like a skin that was exfoliated, lotioned and warmed up on a sun, smells clean and amazing. This is the ultimate your skin but better. So good! Good Job Attar on this one!

When I first sprayed this, I was a little underwhelmed because I thought my skin just ate it up, but strangely, it got stronger after 30 minutes of wearing it. Maybe I get anosmic pretty quickly with this scent because my co-worker complimented me today while wearing this. I don't usually like florals, but there's something so creamy in this that I don't mind it. It's actually really beautiful. Sweet & floral. Perfectly balanced. Not super overpowering. Doesn't give me a migraine like other floral fragrances do. Conclusion, I give this a solid 8/10.

Very pleasant , smooth , elegant . I’m like in the cocoon of happiness when I’m wearing Santal Flower . Not the Le Labo 33 type of santal which I hate as its smells like pickles . This is perfume of peace , calmness and comfort . Soo happy .
