Rosa Galore

Let me start by saying I was expecting something along the Montale side with packaging and the whole idea. But I was surprised by beautiful velvet lined box and glass/ceramic bottle with beautiful white heavy lid. I admire gorgeous packaging even though I did pay about the same as the Montale(The packaging which I dislike), may be a bit more from FragranceX. I do love the presentation of Attar Collection. Now to the scent. This was a blind buy and quite honest it didnt knocked me of my feet at first. It took good few months before I came back to it and realized its quite beautiful and reminds me a lot of my beloved Mon Parfum Cristal. Feminine Sweet Jammy Rose, a bit Fruity, Caramel, and lily of the valley is shining through as well what reminds me of Kissing by Kilian with Jammy Rose Added. Those are not dupes or same smelling but more to give an idea which direction the fragrance is leaning too. Something along those lines. If you love those, you will enjoy Rose Galore. Its well blended and quality is there, would make good all year around fragrance. It has that classy slightly chypre mature lady feel to it. Its very Feminine. I was about to sell it since I didnt reach for it but I might hold off for a little longer.

Meh. Wanted to love it as I was looking for a fresh, sweet, natural rose but this is just a basic mix. Like someone took a handful of garden flowers, threw them in the blender and voila! Don't smell the depth, the character or even cute simplicity in it. If you want to give a present to someone who doesn't know anything about fragrances, does not have a favorite scent, and just wants to spray something to church on Sunday - this is it. It's like a niche version of Philosophy's Amazing Grace.

In early spring + 5 dergrees - quite ok. I don't choose rose in perfume, but this rose somehow is fresh and delicate morning rose. Beautiful.

The scent is sweet and slightly sour, more like a Peach than a Rose. Nice, feminine scent, but I'm not impressed. Rating: 7/10

It's very sweet, my husband says it's like rose Turkish Delight. Rose petals, cornstarch and powdered sugar, sweet sweet sweet. It's a bit old-school feeling, just as Cherry Darling said below. It's all right, but it's not my first choice when it comes to rose fragrances. Could be choking or headache inducing in warm weather.

Nice fruity caramel rose with lots of tartness and floral herbal (lily of the valley) undertones. A little old school due to the lily. Nice but not groundbreaking to me im not a huge fan of the caramel note or the lily. Makes it quite sweet like candy.
