Second Skin

Okay I just gave this a full wear test so here are my initial thoughts after owning this bottle for a day. I was curious because of the notes but hesitant to blind buy since I haven't really heard anyone talk about this at all except for a few TikToks in languages I don't speak. But I found it at a discounter for quite a significant markdown so I bought it- and I'm glad I did. Immediately loved it. This smells nothing like anything else I've smelled, this is a weird scent- in a good way. Opens up with a strong citrus zestiness, presumably from the orange, but it's not very orangey specifically, more just non-descript zest. This only lasts a few minutes before the florals come in- and the florals definitely dominate this so i wouldn't advise if you don't like florals. Also this definitely smells synthetic, not necessarily harsh or chemical but synthetic nonetheless, which I don't mind at all. The florals themselves are not reminiscent of vintage style florals, nor i it very sweet. I would describe it as wet petals. A combination of rose + white florals, mainly lily-of-the-valley, which gives it this clean laundry vibe. The drydown is where this really gets me, and lives up to its name. It becomes a musky skin scents that lingers closer to the skin after a few hours of wear. Gives me the feeling of a shower with a rose-y body wash/soap, and then getting into freshly washed sheets with shaved legs. That feeling is unparalleled! The projection is quite strong for the first couple hours and then settles into a skin scent as I mentioned, but the longevity is great- had it on for 9+ hours and I can still smell it on my wrists. Definitely office-safe, I would say the best time to wear this is late winter/early spring- around March/April during the day, but honestly it's not cloying so can easily be worn any time of the year. I personally can see this as a bedtime scent or work scent, I probably wouldn't wear this for going out or a special occassion. Blind Buy Success - 9/10.

This is very clean, rosy and crisp. Reminds me of original Nivea cream and Estee Lauder's White Linen, but updated and not as sharp. Finally a sun-dried laundry scent that doesn't smell like cheap detergent. The dry down is very long lasting and a fresh, salty musk like sweat in the best way.
