The Persian Gold

Is an opulent oriental sweet, powdery feminine scent. I wear this fragrance when I want to get notice. I like to wear this on fall-winter, night time. Long lasting longevity and strong-moderate sillage

Heavy not light, too much for some, dont overspray..great sillage and longevity

Especially in the opening this smells just like honey. Runny, light rose honey. I wonder why they didn't put honey in the notes list. Some liquid caramel is noticeable, too, so the scent feels very lush, warm and syrupy. As it dries down the perfume turns more powdery. The honey slowly vanishes away and gets replaced by vanilla and just the tiniest hint of nutmeg, which I most likely wouldn't have identified if I didn't knew it was supposed to be there. I think there might be some white musk and florals to add a fluffy lightness to the rose, spices and gourmand notes. This feels like a soft, modern, versatile approach to classic floriental perfumes. It's very well-blended, so no notes stick out too much, but it's essentially a rose fragrance. I wouldn't have put it into a completely golden bottle, if I had to chose a color scheme for this it would be a combination of creamy white and light pink with flecks of gold. Soft and feminine, not as opulent and sparkling as pure gold. A light veil of a scent that is light enough for daytime use and also warm and sensual enough for evening wear. It could be worn as a going out fragrance, but I think it's even more suitable for an intimate date night setting. The sweet, powdery drydown just feels so romantic and feminine. It's a strong like for me, maybe even bordering on love, but not quite there. I think I prefer the more opulent kind of caramelized rose scents, though not by much.

Agree with previous reviewer, it smells like runny, light honey. Not disgusting artificial one. This is very sweet, bright and faminine. Quite powdery, but not too much. There is some harsher note at the bottom, probably there just to support this perfume, but it is not very noticeable. I was out wearing it, in a concert... And kept getting whifs of some perfume, was thinking somebody is wearing Guidance by Amouage. Turns out it was just and my Persian Gold. It is not a dupe for Guidance, but has a similar feel - pure joyful feminine elegance, only Guidance is cremier to me and has some coconut, while Persian Gold is a touch more floral and more classical.

This perfume started very powdery and sweet and warm , b-u-t after an hour or two it started to smell on me like Kirke!

A sweet, powdery yet warm perfume which is surly not a bad blind buy for anyone. Attar collection always gives the best of its scents. This one is slight smoky rose with the Turkish delight which is powdery as well as creamy. I feel this to be more on feminine side rather than unisex and this is best suitable for night time specially in fall and winter. Wear this beauty if you want to get noticed, you are going to be flooded with compliments. Longevity is superb and the silage is strong too on my skin. There is some complexity with this fragrance that makes it even more beautiful, this changes with time into a vanilla, honey kind of smell. Rose remains in background but well balanced and not too much sweet. Overall, a must buy beauty!

I was putting this fragrance out for quite a while, than decided to blind buy it and I have to say no regrets. Attar Collection fragrance just dont disappoint. I have yet to find one I dislike. This is powdery slight smoky rose in turkish delight, yet its a bit creamy. This is nice. Few fragrances I could compare it to that reminds me of are Kilian Liaisons Dangereuses, those creamy smoky fruity nuances. Also slightly reminds me of Nobile 1942 La Danza Delle Libellule and Xerjoff Cruz Del Sur II at dry Down. They are all different but just certain notes that pop to my nose reminds me of those. In all, this fragrance not at all what I was expecting, but actually much better.

This is a beautiful feminine daytime powdery scent for mild weather, spring/summer. It is quite complex, it changes over time ending like a nice honey-ish vanilla skin scent. Dominant notes are powder, vanilla, sweet notes and nutmeg. The rose is like a ghost at the background. This scent is not overly sweet, it's very well balanced. Performance is moderate overall.
