I really love this perfume especially in early winter. It is the best time to feel the smoky side. I think it has a labdanum note but not listed

Tart, sweet, spicy and smoky (frankincense is used with a liberal hand here), the featured notes are all present but instead of appearing in sequence according to the note pyramid, the scent showcases all its bold beauty right from the start. Both evocative as well as highly addictive. The drydown is a heartwarming affair between the woody, musky and incense notes with a bit of well-worn leather to round it off. Eau de Madeleine wears like a brighter and younger (as well as European) interpretation of the smouldering siren that is Amouage Epic Woman. Projection is very good and longevity equally so.

Not a review but I'm wondering why the notes are not available. Anyway lifted off the Au Pays de la Fleur d'Oranger website: Top : Citrus Heart : Incense, Rose Base: Leather, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Musk Enjoy! :) First impression I really like it but I need to sit with it more to write a proper review.

Incense, sandalwood, citrus, & leather that simple. Quite commercially simple, and reminds me allot of Lacost fragrance. Nothin special but to designers fragrances lovers, this will be something.

Eau de Madeleine deserves love. A scrumptious vanilla walk in the woods with clouds of incense that lasts all day. It’s a holiday favorite of mine — cookie, trees & sunlit incense.

I had such high hopes for this fragrance, and yet it smells, quite literally, like Aldi's lemon and ginger tea. Identical!
