Anecdote

Recently I've started to get rid of the perfumes I don't use by selling or swapping or giving them away.today I decided to put Aubade Anecdote in the mentioned list.I bought it about two years ago and never used or remembered it.back then I was really in white musk mode but now I have more than enough clean musky florals and decided to keep only the ones I really love such as Narciso Rodriguez Narciso edp,Narciso Rodriguez essence musc,Cartier la panthere legere,D&G feminine,Estee lauder modern muse,Sarah Jessica Parker beauty,Villoresi teint de neige and a few other ones I have a habit that I test a perfume for the last time before selling or swapping it so I did the same thing with Anecdote.now that I have it on my skin I don't think I can let it go! I can't figure out why I never used it in these two years,yes it definitely is simple but this simplicity doesn't make it any less beautiful It's a very very clean scent like a floral scented creamy body wash.It opens as a crisp and refreshing scent of bergamot,white musk and jasmine and dries down to an almost creamy musky-floral with a hint of powdery vanilla to warm it up a bit.I can detect magnolia in it's dry down which is like a modernized version of Yves rocher magnolia's soapy florals and the white and calm feeling it gives me,reminds me of Creed love in white It smells pretty awesome in this hot and humid summer day(39°C) and feels like wearing a white,thin,breathable cotton dress It's not something to get excited about,not a perfume that I'd repurchase but I will happily use whole of the 50mil I have If I want to explain it in a few words I'd say:calm,clean,white,soft Longevity isn't that bad on me.not as good as the black one but I can still smell it as a skin scent of right stepped out of shower after 4 hours which is satisfying considering it's soft nature and it's friendly price tag اگه عطرهای خنک و ملایم و تمیز دوس دارین حتما تستش کنید.رایحه ای سفید و بسیار بسیار تمیز که برای استفاده روزانه و محل کار تو تابستون عالیه..مگنولیا و یاس تمیز،مشک سفید و بی آزار و کمی وانیل پودری..دقیقا روی پوست بویی شبیه این ایجاد میکنه ک ب تازگی با یه شامپو بدن کرمی با رایحه گلی حموم کردین

Nice floral bouquet with a musky- vanilla undertone to soften florals and add a little amount of sweetness to overall combination I like it as it's cool,feminine and nice for spring and even summer,a modern floral which is a nice choice for young elegant ladies,it's good price makes it a good choice for daily use,though it's not a casual kind of fragrance,it's more lady like,maybe better for office work Longevity and sillage are both moderate,it's not a watery girly floral,also not a very sharp,loud one..notes are very well blended so none of florals stands out and overpowers the others,dry down is a bit soapy due to musk-white florals combo and I find it clean and elegant in a French way I agree with below review,it really looks like garlic but believe me it's scent has nothing to do with garlic ;)

This fragrance smells really great! Personally, I think it smelled sweet and sensual. Even though it's actually marketed for women, men can also use it too since my friends at the office like the smell. The only downside is it's not strong enough so you have to apply it several times. The top notes, mixed with middle notes, smelled flowery and powdery. It smelled very sweet and soft so it won't make people annoyed, even in really close proximity. The bottom notes are the reason I bought this perfume. It's dominant of musk. It smelled really sexy and sweet and it really inspires me throughout the day.

This one has a rather lovely (& v natural smelling,) mint in the top notes, bergamot too. It's quite gentle once it settle ls, the lasting power isn't amazing but better than Shiro, of which it shares a few notes - it's like a minty, & musky, slightly soapy Shiro, with a little jasmine added - the jasminegives it a soapy quality. I like it a lot - nice summer perfume + if you live in the UK - TKMaxx hv it for £9.99/50ml - bargain. Love the mint top notes, it's not heavy on the vanille but it has a little in the base. Don't know that I smell coumarin though. It has a slightly unisex quality, not masculine but almost unisex, I think, not nearly as much as CKIN2U though which I cannot wear (my gosh, the cedar in there - that one is men's perfume, surely,) but this is nice, just not ultra feminine, but good for summer - a more unisex, & less sweet Shiro; & similarly; white, soft, calm, cool. Prefer Shiro bc I love that one - the lasting power is criminal though; this fares better, on the skin, lasting power wise. The bottle is a curiosity - the top makes it a little ungainly for popping in your bag, as you would need to, as lasting power approximately 3 hrs or so. It is a little powdery, but doesn't remind me of Narciso Rodriguez Poudree - maybe ppl think that bc of the jasmine, but it's only a little powdery, I think - but it's a modern perfume, that's the important thing re this - despite the slight powder it isn't 'vintage-y' it is v modern & quite elegant, for mid spring/summer - this one would still work in the heat, (bc of the mint, & musk,) but use with a light hand in high heat.

I bought this unsniffed and I am underwhelmed with it . Soft musky with lemon in the top notes , this is a light soft scent , pretty but too light , on my skin it disappears way too fast..should have bought the black version I don't know , I can't say it isn't nice yet it isn't great, there is a soft floral vibe throughout., just wish it had been stronger Only if you love real mild scents with a citrusy vibe , not impressed !!
