Aubusson Flore

I love what is referred to as the Lotus note. Never smelled real lotus, but if it smells like the note I now recognize in several perfumes Fragranticans have reviewed, I'm smitten. I'm most grateful to expand my perfume experience to such a fresh cooling note from mypreferred chypres. First whiff of Flore and there it is, Lotus. I close my eyes and I am in a garden surrounded by lush water flowers. Unfortunately, lotus is short lived because the watermelon arrives too soon. Then follows rose and a touch of honeysuckle, returning to the floral notes. Perhaps I try too hard to continue sniffing for the lotus, the whole composition fades away in under an hour with my chemistry. For the price online, I'll visit this fragrance most often this summer.

Best composed melone perfume ever! light in summer, for the office as well as for garden parties, and the notes are: top: Bergamot,watermelon middle: Living yunnan lotus, water orris, Peony, Pink Honeysuckle, Chéverfeuille Rose base: White Cedar woods, Mysore Sandalwood, Peach, Musk

This one made me realise that I can't tolerate the lotus note in perfumes. I have it for years & can't finish the bottle.

I've had this since May. This is the underlying smell in most lotions that come in gift sets with designer perfumes. It's like a vintage blue leather make up case from the 80's with the smell of vintage face powder mixed with the leather. Orris root powdery.Quite a bit of musk too. Last 4 hours which i like because i can apply another scent for the evening. Not a bad smell at all just not what i expected. So far,i've enjoyed it the most in the fall weather for when i just want that leathery lotion smell.

A delicious light floral, with an intriguing top note that is described as lotus. not sure whether such a fragrance exists, to me, it smells of the most genuine and subtle perfume of a ripe melon.
