Beautiful parfum with a modern charm. Beautiful note of iris that harmonizes with the white and leaves an unforgettable trail, which is imbued with past and future memories... a timeless fragrance that drags you with you ... almost like magic. Older flower smell. Powdery. Iris.

10:30 - Smells old lady on me. After the initial blast, there's a funk that I am NOT enjoying. Like coconut milk with pee in it. Normally I enjoy an animalistic smell, so not sure what to say to this. 1 - Dry down is an amazing skin scent, though. 1:10 - Sprayed again and it's now charming. I'm so confused. 2:15 - I can't stop smelling my fingers where I spilled some. So the first time I tried this was a month (or more?) ago and all I remembered was that I didn't like it and it smelled like a church thrift shop to me. This time it started out that way but on respray it is AMAZING. Like, if this is what it had smelled like the first go round, I'd already own a bottle. I can't fully explain it. A really well blended floral/wood/spice/amber with the only note standing out being the orris, but even that is staying polite. Maybe it needed some air? Who knows. I'm going to try it again next week. If it's still amazing I'm getting a bottle. 1 a.m. - So it's essentially gone but I keep getting quick whiffs of yum.

Auphorie can do no wrong in my book. The brothers always present a well thought out idea in a bottle. Never boring or pedestrian, every bottle tells a story. Orris butter, cocoa leans gourmandish. This would be the mother to Iris Macchiàto. I also got a echo of a Roja Britannia accord yet this is well edited and not as overstuffed as a Roja. Iris isnt generally a thing for me as many times it leans too carroty. Here the orris is divine. Shame I missed out on a full bottle. Leave it to Auphorie to make me a believer in iris/orris Truly special Sample by Ave Perfum
