Lemon Rush

I tested this perfume at Normal Store. The scent lasted 24 hours on my hair and coat collar. I went back and bought a bottle the next day. The scent is fresh and soothing. It smells like early summer mornings. You notice yellow lemon zest and lemonade. There is a soft, fuzzy feeling. It is light but not weak. It feels clean, almost like washed linen in the sun. You can wear it alone or layer it. It works well with geranium, rose, or a sweet scent like Pink Sugar or Al Rehab Soft. The citrus notes blend easily with floral or sugary perfumes. You get more depth and warmth if you add a sugary or floral layer. If you want a long-lasting, fresh scent that fits warm weather, this is a strong choice. The staying power and clean finish set it apart from other citrus perfumes.

I like it! It's definitely not long lasting and has pretty weak sillage, but for 8 euro I can't complain. It's a clean, fresh citrus scent without the chemical harshness often associated with artificial citrus fragrances. More naturey, like lemon zest. On the drydown, the citrus notes disappear after around an hour, leaving behind a pleasant, subtle clean skin scent. It's almost intimate in a way. Pretty good overall.

A pretty and lovely clean lemon scent. I was positively surprised to find it at Normal. I tried to layer it with YSL Libre today and that was kind of great.

A nice, zesty lemon. I didnt find it too sharp or too sweet. A very simple perfume, but its not bad. Good for layering, as all perfumes from the brand.
