30 Years Special Edition

30 Years Special is an enchanting perfume. This is a rose forward scent, yet the rose here isn’t overwhelming or sharp. The citrusy smells allows for constant freshness. Then oud emerges quickly but shyly. It continues like that for the whole several hours of wearing this perfume. The creaminess powdery scents of the ambergris and musk come later and stays on the skin and clothes for a long time. I love how this perfumes is created so beautifully with so many well blended notes to pique our noses’ curiosity and intrigue.

On December 16, Kazakhstan became the last of the republics to proclaim its independence from the Soviet Union. This fragrance celebrates thirty years from this moment, seeing a people united for a common good, almost as if it were a sprout that becomes a flower and rises towards the light. A very spicy, particular rose/saffron/Oud combination, with a rose as the protagonist and with a wonderful scent. Too opulent for me, but it's a truly excellent creation. To be used in cooler seasons, excellent persistence and sillage.

I'm not a fruity perfume fan but this is so beautiful. It's amber-y, slightly fruity, musky, and a hint of oud in there too. I don't think the oud is prominent in this perfume at all. I can't forget the spices and the rose either. The notes are so seamlessly blended together to formulate this perfume. It's unfortunate that not many people know about this one but its great. Very obviously niche but as much as I like this, I wouldn't say it's unique or groundbreaking.

If you like Rose/Oud combinations this is worth checking out! It’s like roses vanille from Mancera but I think it’s more balanced.
