Sublime

I get the powdery amber first and foremost as the front note right in my face with vanilla lost a bit in amongst the density of the amber. Any citrus is a supporting role, because I can't detect it exactly, but its got a certain unusual mysterious combination of scents deep in there underneath the amber. I like this perfume better when it wafts up at me from my wrist than when i go right in for a direct sniff. Up close, all I get is amber. It kind of reminds me of the amber solid perfume i got as a teenager from the import shop but in the best of ways - this is definitely an elevated version of that It has a nostalgia and a warmth, and is definitely a perfume for sweater weather in my opinion. Vanilla comes out more in the dry down, but for me its definitely a warm powdery amber. Its nice. Feminine to Unisex. A bit sweet. Overall quite nice. I'm glad I have it, (I bought it as a blind buy) but I don't think I would purchase another bottle. It also might last me forever, for how often i want to wear an amber-heavy perfume. Edit: I don't want to be without this perfume. I think its perfect as an everyday signature scent and I love it so much. the citrus to me is more available now that I've gotten to know it, and I definitely will be buying another bottle when this one runs out - and it just might because I use it a lot!

A very nice vanilla scent! Call me crazy but i find some classic colognes vibe in the background (It remembrr me a bit to the classic Aqua di parma or even to some parts of aventus) mixed with the smell of the old classic dolls. I am loving It really! The performance is not a beast for being an extrait but is bit bad. The longevity is above average but It is almost from the begining a skin scent. I bought this never having smelled it before, but after having read reviews. It's simply gorgeous and I've worn it more since I bought it than anything else, which is rare for me. It does remind me of the first six perfumes listed, above, in the "reminds me of" section, but this is still different from them all, and in my opinion, is exalted above each and every one of them in terms of beauty, uniqueness, sillage and longevity. This is an extrait, after all. It's now going in my top five favorite perfumes. I bought mine from Lucky Scent.

What a stunning fragrance! I received a free sample and fell in love with it. If you love bergamot and vanilla it is a MUST TRY. To those who say the performance is weak, you’ve got to be kidding me. I get 10 hours out of this and I rarely get more than 8 with any fragrance due to my skin type. This is alluring, addictive and impossible not to adore. A perfect date night scent. Give it a try. It develops and changes quite a bit so be patient if you don’t like the strong opening.

it's becoming my favorite fragrance atm, full of vanilla and ambergris, even though it is versatile with that citrus opening, just one of the best fragrances I own.

This smells like a fine fragrance, among the likes of expensive offerings from big houses such as Creed, Guerlain, and such. So nothing over-the-top niche. These notes.. vanilla citrus woods and amber... it's been done quite a bit and you can kind of anticipate what this would smell like, but it doesn't disappoint since it has an uber-smooth finish. This is exactly what you get from fine fragrances. This composition is nowhere near screechy or cloying. Super inoffensive, stable, and sublime. Bergamot and vanilla centered, deepened by benzoin and ambergris, cleaned up by iris and emboldened by woods, expanded by hedione and complete with musk. You don't get an incense/ancient feel from the benzoin, it's uplifting and bright. Sophisticated feel yet comforting. This is for someone who is fancy. It's all season, versatile, and unisex/fem. I'm MAD AS HELL this is expensive for a small bottle. 8/10

This is very much inspired by the many benzoin-heavy vanilla patchouli ambers out there, Bois d'Armenie, Benjoin Boheme, Bois d'Argent, Musc Ravageur the list goes on and on. I guess Cécile Zarokian wanted to create her own take on it, and it is probably my favorite of the genre so far, because I can vividly smell the iris and citrus, I get less smokiness than in others of its kind, and the patchouli is kept to a comfortable level, not heavily intruding. There is a certain muskiness to it in the base, reminiscent to Musc Ravageur, but also the deep and realistic caramel feel of Bois d'Armenie. There is an undercurrent of vanilla I can definitely sense, but the key players here are definitely iris, benzoin and patchouli. Not a genre I enjoy enough to buy multiples of, but very nice overall.

This one is pretty. Thanks to the vanilla/ambergris/musk/amber combo the sillage is just slightly animalic and really sexy. Something about it reminds me of the sheer black stockings and burgundy lipstick of the 90s. This is grown in the base, with the lemon and the bergamot adding a youthful, sparkling quality. If the florals are felt at all, it’s to add to the “grown up” aspect. This is wearing stockings on a summer evening for the effect, sipping lemonade and vodka, while Marcy Playground “Sex and Candy” plays in the background. It really would be higher up on my list if it wasn’t for the longevity. But still, I’m reluctant to let this beauty out of my collection. 🍋🌤️ 🍭🕶️🍰🥃

Aura Sublime is a really nice cozy warm vanilla amber that never becomes too heavy or cloying. There is freshness and I really like the lemon top note here. The iris in here is quite subtle here, this fragrance isn't about florals, even though I believe they are there to add depth to the composition and keep the perfume from becoming too linear. Again, this is a reboot of an older classic, Shalimar. A good perfume for those who think Shalimar is a bit too much but want something like it. If you like vanilla ambers that have freshness and are not heavy, cloying and overwhelming this perfume is a good way to go.

I am shocked to note find patchouli listed as a note. This is such a patchouli bomb to me

Aura Sublime has a sweet citrus top that soon gives way to a fairly powdery vanilla, without edges or animalic aspects to my nose despite the background of musk and ambergris. I really like how this perfume makes me feel. It is a delicate hug that is comforting. It seems to me a little more inclined towards the feminine, but within the unisex. It is also a very versatile perfume since it is not too overwhelming and I see it as suitable in many situations. It has a moderate sillage and lasts about 8 hours on my skin. Curiously, it is a perfume that gives me a slight allergy from time to time (redness at some point of application, not in every of them, and randomly), but I still use it occasionally and I am using a second decant. That's how nice it is to me! Of course, for the same reason I would not commit to a full bottle, even less considering its high price. Scent 8/10 Duration 8/10 Sillage 6.5/10 Quality/price 2/10 Versatility 9/10 Packaging 5/10 Would I buy again? No

What a surprise! This fragrance is so beautiful, and quite “guerlainesque” in structure. It opens with an aura of bergamot, citrus and vanilla— clean, addictive and cozy. This is when it reminds me of a gossamer version of Shalimar, though quite ethereal compared to its resinous counterpart. Just slightly powdery with a hint of iris and benzoin, it wraps around the wearer like a cozy cashmere sweater. It feels like a throwback to vintage perfumery, when notes were blended perfectly as opposed to so many mass market quick releases of today. The price point for this extrait is quite reasonable. Well worth a full bottle.

Neón glossy amber candy; sublime. Smells like a modern amber, youthful and vibrant, not a typical mature old fashioned amber. I get a glossy vibe from this, like a shiny resinous vanilla hard candy. The citrus in this reminds me of yellow Gatorade but a natural version made from lemon and sugar cane in a neon uranium glass. It also gives a radiant spectrum similar to Liquide Les Liquides Imaginaires, where it seems like you sprayed a bright aura around you. Loved.

Ambergris in vanilla sour flavor. It begins as an ambergris vanilla shot and then transforms to a fizzy bergamot yet orang-full sweet vanilla bonbon with hints of wood musk, & elemi with no ambergris! It has iris, wood, cedar, bergamot, lemon, vanilla, tonka beans, and elemi. It begins superior but settles the usual musky woody vanilla. Fair.

Absolute stunner of a fragrance. After 10 years in this you sometimes stumble across something remarkable. Previously my favorite vanilla was Cuir Beluga. This reminds me of using the same vanilla, losing the suede, and adding bergamot and ambergris. Barely got it so i can’t be sure but it seems very potent and long lasting. 12hrs I’d say

Really heavy and overpowering vanilla fragrance. As a vanilla lover I am constantly looking for new vanilla fragrances to try and this was a new one that I had not heard of. It is overwhelming to me and as someone who is a heavy spritzer one spritz was even too much.
