Queen of Paradise

I don't smell the Libre in this at all LOL, on me it smells similar to DBR. It smells fresh and fruity floral on my skin, so I believe I'm mostly getting the black currant and mandarin with the orange blossom and jasmine, the cedar in the background with vanilla grounding it all. Reminds me a lot of DBR, without smelling exactly like it? lol I do not get any lavender, but I do smell a clean/aromatic quality in this as well, so that may be the type of lavender used, the more aromatic, airy "mall" lavender. This is not a Mon Guerlain or something lavender fragrance haha, it's hardly noticeable on my skin. Once I've had it on for a few hours, I get clean and sweet fruity vanilla wafts here and there, very beautiful. Seriously, don't sleep on this one!!! It's so good for the price, and the bottle in comes in looks and feels EXPENSIVE in person. Even the cap is amazing! ***Also, check out Ghazala, it's supposed to be inspired by Delina Exclusif, so a sparkling lychee rose. It smells incredible and the lasting power is amazing.***

Unfortunately this does not work for me at all. A reading of the notes would indicate that I should love it, but it doesn't smell anything like the listed notes, except for the vanilla which shows up late. The first few seconds were fresh and pleasant enough before it morphed into a scent I can only describe as a Glade plug-in air freshener mixed with cheap orange soda. Nothing about it smells natural and I don't get any blackcurrant, lavender, or jasmine. Maybe it's whatever kind of musk it has in it that clashing with my skin chemistry. The vanilla is nice if nothing special, but it only appeared after a couple of hours. Finally I couldn't stand it anymore and I scrubbed it off my arm-I am very glad that's the only place I applied it. I have quite a few Arabian perfumes, and I even put on one of them to erase the memory of this one, but I will be wary of the fragrances from this new house, which so far are 100% dupes per their web site. This will go in my donation bin, maybe someone else will love it. I will say that the packaging very nice, and the bottle is heavy and looks expensive and tasteful.
