Angel Face

I've had Angel Face in my collection for probably 16-17 years. I absolutely adore its powdery-almondy-heliotrope scent. It's sweet, but not too sweet, it's powdery but not too much. It's a perfect bedtime scent, but also works as office appropriate as it's not "in your face". I am gutted to find out that it's discontinued, I shall have to eke out my remaining oil and only wear it on special occasions when I need a smooth powdery-almond hug. Agree with those who say there is a similarity to Etro Heliotrope, but I would say this is richer and smoother and just more comforting.

On my skin, a straight up perfume oil version of Guerlain's L'Instant Magic. I love this!! This is my comfort scent and has been since I was a little girl wearing Love's Baby Soft. It's what I put on when getting out of the shower, going to bed, or lounging around the house. I've even worn it to work or to run errands. This stays close to the skin but I do get wafts of it as I move or when my skin heats up doing physical activity. Beings it's an oil and due to its powdery nature, a little (a drop or two, or maybe three) goes a long way. If you've never used a oil before, I advise that you try this at home first so that you can see how it wears on you and you can adjust how much to apply. Longevity for me is about is about 6-8 hours. Yours could be different depending on your skn chemistry, condition of your skin (dry/oily), and the temperature and environment you are in. Price point is really reasonable. A 5ml vial is $25 and it can last for months giving you your money's worth. You will also recieve samples with your order so you can try out others scents. I'm very pleased with this and will probably reorder in the future.

Angel Face may or may not contain heliotrope, but it smells to me like it does. Powdery sweetness. The combination of smooth powder that doesn't have any animali or aldehyde edge, and sweet white flowers that don't upstage the baby'shower head smell is surprisingly refined and addictive.

I really wanted to like her scents, they have no staying power and this one smells like play dough! Gross!

This is possibly one of my favourite powdery scents. Sure, it does smell like babies and talcum powder, but there's somehow more to it than just that. Angel Face was my first introduction to Ava Luxe. I was drawn to the description and the name. Heavenly and soft this fragrance most certainly is. Angel Face settles on my skin most beautifully. It's inoffensive too, which is a plus. To my nose, it's an uncomplicated blend of vanilla powder, almond, sandalwood and musk. The scent is comforting and pretty, although perhaps a little linear. This fragrance has surprisingly good lasting power. It lasts hours despite the fact that it sits rather close to the skin. Angel Face reminds me a little bit of my childhood, but that's not to say that I don't feel sexy wearing this fragrance. My significant other quite likes this fragrance actually. He says I'm most approachable when wearing soft, powdery scents. Ava Luxe makes some really beautiful, understated fragrances that unfortunately haven't been recognised or praised as they should be. Angel Face is one of her scents that I greatly admire and love. Her fragrances are simplistic yet adorable in ways that are hard to describe.

White floral with musk, plus vanilla and cream I'd say. Floral and gourmandy. It smells delicious, like a cake with floral decorations. Pretty good. I'd wear it, but not so sure about purchase, too gourmandy for my taste; it could have been called 'Angel cake'. I would have liked this more in my teens, nowadays I gear more towards powdery florals. Moderate silage, 2-3 hours of cakiness.
