Bois Fonce

My God this is such a DIVINE perfume!!!!! It is so beautiful! And the beautiful review by fillifelle is so good!!! fillifelle you have put it so gorgeously!!! It is a really lovely, soft, gentle, sweet perfume. I can't say anything else!! Except it lasts beautifully too, 16 hours, and is still lingering through the next day in lovely wafts. I adore it. It is sexy, feminine, fluffy, adorable, gentle, smooth, totally lovely. My husband also adores it on me, and everyone else who is anywhere within a radius of a few feet looks like they're in bliss - sniffing the air, then me; they get this dreamy look on their face, and say 'oooh you smell so beautiful!!' !!!! I feel luxurious in it - fabulous!!! It's absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! I LOVE Bois Fonce - LOVE IT TOTALLY!!!

A true blue inky oud scent tempered with sweet musky, vanillic undertones. Very wearable and very soft. The name and the soli-note may sound intimidating. But for gentle lovers of oud, this is a gem. No unwashed camels or cheesy barnyard here. This is the medicinal variety made velvety and billowy, the equivalent of a feminine caress. Not for fans of hardcore stinky oud. Bois Fonce is is about as dark as a hushed forest at dawn, where veiled shadows give way to a silvery opalescence.

I received a perfume oil sample of this and applied to myself. I thought it smelled like oud oil, as in REAL oud oil, not the stuff that Montale uses, which I don't (really) recognize as oud. This Bois Fonce smells like a clean, non-cheesy real oud oil. I don't know how Ava Luxe did this, unless they used some real oud oil in it. I also guessed it had a berry/berries note(s) to it. Then I came online and looked up about it and sure enough - oud!
