Heart of Glass

Heart of Glass is a refined gardenia and jasmine forward perfume w/ a very cool approach. Like a cool wind blowing across warm white florals. Very soft while being lush and fully floral. Slightly animalic, slightly green, white floral w/ a slight rice note. Very tender, feminine, and a bit restrained. The name is very appropriate. The woman who gravitates towards this perfume has a fragile heart, is tender, and a bit shy but still has a sensual nature just below the surface. Exquisite and perfect in its execution of portraying such delicate emotions through scent. Edit: The more I keep testing this I get more and more water lily which gives this perfume a light aquatic tonality. Heart of Glass is a very delicate and pretty white floral. Would be a good white floral for those that want to dip their toe into that world since it is mild, slightly aquatic and softly done.

This is a straight up 80s tuberose/white floral. I was really hoping the rice flower note would be at least somewhat prominent in this, but I can't smell it. Which was a bummer. To add to all this, I've had this EDP sample for not even a year, and it has turned BAD. It smells rancid and like fish oil now. I've noticed quite a few of her scents turn pretty fast, which is unfortunate because I do enjoy quite a few of her other scents - just not this one. If you're looking to use this scent all up within a quick few months and you like bombastic 80s white florals, then this could be for you.

Tuberose & Syrian jasmines with gardenia. White floral in general with orange blossoms. Quite delicate, cooling, and very white floral. I can't sense any musk so far as it's 3 minutes now since the spray. The rice effect rises abit gently. Very interesting and this fits the one who loves white floral without any animalic tones. Now the dry down is slightly musky with rice effect, remained soft and kind of animalic from the slight musk.
