this is fairly linear on me. smells a bit maple-y and spicy at first spray. also get some green notes after a minute, maybe fir and vetiver. also some angelica creeps in, followed by florals, i think it’s datura. i am not loving this-it's mostly a maple-y vetiver. retrying in winter: this is much better. i do get a maple-y note but it's subtle. this time i notice a lot more ylang ylang, as well as a smokiness and a woody vetiver. then the datura gets stronger and the scent is noticeably sweeter but still quite smoky. wafting up from my arm is quite different-it's mostly datura and ylang ylang and it's intoxicating and lovely. i agree with the review below, this definitely needs to be worn in cold weather.

I tried a sample because of the datura note. I've grown this amazing flower, and the spicy nocturnal scent is intoxicating. Unfortunately, I cannot detect it anywhere. Sorciere is very aromatic, as in a "tiger balm" sort of way. Edit: The temperature has fallen considerably today, and yes ;*) I can pick up the datura note. It seems to me, that it requires a colder day to evolve on my skin. Definitely a winter scent.

Heavy, heady florals driven by a prominent vetiver note. I don't know if it's the datura, but this perfume has a dangerous feeling to it. And I don't mean in a beguiling way but literally in a I-don't-want-to-go-near-this-smell way. I also seem to be one of the rare human out here for whom vetiver has the potential to nauseate if it's too prominent. Here it reaches that critical mass sufficient to turn my stomach. If I just stick to Ava's woody and oriental categories, I'm good :)

White, yellow combination. White floral and yellow ylang ylang as the ylang is the dominant note with woody note and some fir. This is an overpowered fir angelica ylang combination with balsamic effect as the quality is there.
