This is the Fragrance that started my Fragrance Journey. I ♥ the shower-gel, when I ran out, I rush out to buy a bottle of my 1st cologne. This cologne smell Amazing. If you like Fresh / Spicy / out-of-the-shower Cleanliness, then you'll ♥ Avon Alpha. It doesn't last long on my skin, but then again most fresh aquatic don't either. 7 months later, I have smell hundreds of fragrance, and this cologne still remain in my top 7 scent.

Basil, verbena and Cardamon all thrown into a glass of brandy with some nutmeg and cedarwood thrown in for good measure and finished off with a good squeeze of bergamot and voila you have Avon Alpha. A spicy fresh almost sweet scent which may sound like I am dissing this cologne but in actual facts I ain't. This is a great spring summer scent for those sweltering hot days and even for those balmy summer night's. It reminds me a bit of Joop!Go! With its sweet undertones but this is more fresh spicy that dries down to a woody scent so it has its own structure instead of being a complete copy cat. All in all I give this scent a 6 out of 10 Longevity- 3 hours max Projection- it projects off your skin at arms length for the first 30 minutes then becomes a skin scent for the rest of its duration. Avon really does make some incredible fragrances but their one fatal flaws are projection and longevity. Though not terrible they just aren't exactly great.

I get bergamot, juniper berries, cedar and a very nice sweet liquor base. Moderate longevity and sillage typical of Avon EDTs, 2-4 hs arm's reach. Woody, boozy, masculine, daytime, spring - fall best, office and casual. It's very middle of the road and versatile, nothing special, but quite decent, natural smelling notes and made by a good perfumer.

Nice scent, fresh but last 30 minutes. For some odd reason the bottle and box smell terrible like mildew.... Not sure if the warehouse it was at was dirty or what was the case. update: Give it time. It depends on the weather, and sometimes I wonder if our moods affect scents. It smells so fresh and perfect for the Los Angeles summer.

Smells great. Very fresh. Somewhat reminds me of a smooth, powdered, less spicy version of Pace by Jaguar. Definitely a fragrance I'll be putting on after a shower.

Very nice fruity spicy fragrance. Sadly longevity is very poor so the fragrance itself becomes pointless. If it had about 6-8h longevity and more power in general it would be a great smell that no designer house would not want to have in their offer.

I like it! Typical shower gel-type scent but it smells good. With a little over-spraying, I get about 6 hours, 7 hrs if I spray on clothes too. For the price, it's a good pick-up.
