Artistique Wisteria Sublime

Perfume is memory in liquid form. A single scent can transport you through time like a flashback, like stepping into a time machine. That’s exactly what Wisteria Sublime by Avon did for me. It brought me right back to my childhood. Thank you, Nathalie Lorson, for that. This fragrance feels like a tribute to what I consider her greatest creation: Innocence by Chloé. I discovered it in the late 1990s, and it stayed on my wish list ever since it was discontinued. Over the years, I searched for a replacement. The closest I ever found was Shiseido’s Energizing Fragrance, which was also discontinued. I tried others too, like Pleasures by Estée Lauder, always hoping to recapture that same feeling. But nothing really matched. What makes Innocence and Wisteria Sublime so special is their ethereal, slightly bitter freshness. They feel light, youthful, and quietly nostalgic. The only downside with Avon’s version is that it doesn’t last very long. Still, the simple bottle and Monet-inspired packaging are beautiful and suit the fragrance perfectly.

I agree with cherrie97 saying this fragrance smells like lilac trees on a sunny day. As a child I played in my family garden which had a huge lilac tree. When I first sprayed it I was racking my brain to recall where I'd smelt it before. My mother has a country garden and has bought plants and shrubs over the years for their perfumes. I think that's where my love of perfume came from, from being surrounded with fragrance from birth. I used to try and make perfumes as a child in the garden, with the cat stoned on cat mint beside me. As soon as I read cherie97 review memories came flooding back. This Wisteria fragrance is beautiful, the dry down lovely, its definitely a skin scent, with a soft musk base. It has more staying power on clothes. I would buy it again.

No wonder I love this perfume, it's a dead ringer for Dior's Remember Me, a special edition EDP from 2000. Not surprisingly this fragrance and the Dior were created by the same nose. The Avon version is not as strong or long lasting, it's a lovely light Spring and summer fragrance. I can't get enough of it!

Just so pretty. Quite herbaceous with a sweet, powdery edge. I see myself going through a portal of cascading green and purple flowers when I'm wearing this😊. Sillage is good, a bit discreet for me but longevity is impressive, I could smell it second morning after spraying.

Just like the name says, it's a SUBLIME Wysteria, when as a kid I was under those trees, so clean so innocent, like a clean white or lavender shirt. You can tell it's Nathalie, because it's so well blended!

O my goodness this definitely resembles my beloved Chloe innocence it brings back wonderful memories of the early noughties in Paris 🥰

This is something new for me. Testing for two days now. This scent is very subtle, but very strong at the same time, close to the skin. This scent is ok for any occasion, a party or work. any time of day, more for the spring. It is very specific. The opening goes very floral, but not sweet, yes - green, but not sharp as "magnolia en fleurs" (i treat magnolia as an air refreshener) from the same series (I'm a fan of Avon artistique). after some time you can smell something like a baby care oil, then it comes to some musky, powdery notes i cannot name. And something i really like, yeah! This is a really great choice for adult, mature women, i think that young girls will not like it. Recommend;)

This is beautiful! Not having smelled real-life wisterias, I could have been easily fooled if lilac had been listed as a note. This is soft and intoxicating, no screechiness whatsoever (so, the name fits). Like a fragrant corner of a garden at dusk. If I would envision the perfect outfit to go with this: a flowing violet, small patterned summery dress. This scent would be perfect for summer weddings and outdoor parties - or just anytime you wish you were someplace romantic: spray liberally and top it up, and everyone’s mood will brighten when they smell this.

I have a sample of this. It smells like a more lilac-leaning version of Jenny Glow French Lime Leaves. A little breezier, not as sultry as Jenny Glow. If you like one you'll like the other. Beautifully blended.

To my nose - and skin - this is very close to what natural lilac smells like in bloom. However, it's a tad bit less sweet. There's something else there that makes it a little more tart. (I do not know what nasturtium smells like, but that could be the source of this tartness..) It's a surprisingly pleasant fragrance, and the whole Avon Artistique line is quite excellent, with all the great noses coming in and adding a piece to it. I only tested it, but I guess I'd have no problem using this in the summer from time to time. Lovely.

I got this recently based on a few comparisons to the long discontinued Chloe Innocence and boy this does not dissapoint. This has the same green, floral and powdery scent and I was immediately transported back to my much younger days!!! Thank you Natalie Lorson for resurrecting such a pretty, unique and ethereal scent especially in the current days of sugary white florals and fruitchouli bombs! Its truly beautiful just like a Monet painting!! I can't believe they already discontinued this! It was too good to be true!!!

Smelling this on it's own, you can definitely smell Chloe Innocence, but comparing it to the actual Innocence side by side you can definitely point out the differences. This one is a bit more sweet, greener and ''real life'' flower smelling, while Innocence is cold, sour, something so alien but extremely alluring and addictive. Like them both so much but Innocence wins for sure.

So this one to me smells like lilac tree on a sunny day. It is beautiful and I love how it’s crisp, sweet and a bit sour at the same time. Just a nice, clean, spring scent. But it has no lasting power at all and sadly it’s just very Close to skin. No projection. Fair for a Price, but for me VS Body mists have better lasting power than this. The bottle is very pretty.

If someone likes wisteria, lilac and purple flowers then it is lovely choice. I wish it was more complex like my beloved Love Chloe. I like it anyway because I like wisteria but ofcourse it is nothing like WOW.
