Aspire Debut

I have liked this perfume at the first snif! It has nice notes from the begining,jasmin, aldehydes (I love aldehydes allmost in every perfume) iris, musk,sandalwood, rose and cedar. Maybe because of jasmin and aldehydes, which have the staying power, I enjoy this - But it would be even nicer, if those other element would smell littlebit more.. Still, if you like jasmin, you will like this, and this kind of remaid me Jeanne Provences Tubeurose & Neroli.

It's so fresh and pleasant, I get a little 1950's vibe with some aldehydes but with a 21st century twist to it, which turns out to smell really good and gives that 'just showered' cleanliness aura. I just wish it could last longer, but for its price you can always reapply without worrying too much.

I'm not a fan of roses in perfumes, but this one is ok to me. It's very elegant, mentally transports me to a flower garden in spring, where I'm strolling in a flowy white dress.

Rarely does a fragrance make me travel to the past, or even make me have memories of something I possibly haven't experienced yet. Aspire Debut by Avon achieves this feat and for less than R$30 with all the discounts offered by reseller friends. Yes, I bought it inspired by the Fragrantica reviews here without hesitation, and after applying the first spray, I was taken back to my childhood, precisely to the school garden where I studied my childhood education and in which I played hidden every break, so as not to be able to step on any beautiful flower that dwelt there; it was (is) the SESI school garden, quite rich in iris, white flowers being pollinated by the touch of the sun and a sweet breeze coming from the south. Even in this time past, I can relive Saturday mornings, when my mother washed the clothes, and after they were stretched out on the clothesline, an aroma of cleaning, soap bubbles and the silky musky touch of fabric softener enveloped the entire block and me. they activated a desperate desire to run away, playing inside that aromatic cloud that lasted until the end of the afternoon, when the clothes were definitively collected from the clothesline. All I know is that Aspire Debut smells like Déjà vu, yes, and not that it's 'the same', but it's the fraternal twin of the discontinued and hyper delicious Esta Flor Flor de Laranjeira, by Natura! <3

I've had this perfume for a month or so, and keep going back to it for a spray to try and make my mind up about it. I get the aldehydes,iris (slightly powdery) cedar and that's about it. It's a very light fragrance, inoffensive. Its definitely a skin scent. It's nothing like Today (which I love) or Attraction, other than the aldehydes,faint thin iris and cedar in the background, I realise I'm disappointed. It dosnt project or developed much after the initial first spray. I think subconsciously I was hoping it to be like Women of Earth - what a beauty that was. Perhaps the similar shaped bottle was niggling me to buy it. Would i buy it again ? No. Avon do way way better perfumes than this light offering.
