Attraction

WOW!! I've said it in another review and I'll say it again. The fragrance snobs of the world really do themselves an injustice writing off Avon scents (and celebrity perfumes / other companies that make affordable scents)...because Avon has some REAL wins in their immensely enormous collection! Avon Attraction for her is one of them...as well as this one. I bought the female counterpart first back in 2018 which I LOVE! And I bought this one about 6 months ago nearing the end of 2019. I only moderately liked it the first time I used it. Forgot about it and fast forward to June of 2020...I used it today and I was blown away at how good this one is. It's sweet, woody, but one of the few men's fragrances that is so.......creamy. That's not an adjective normally associated with men's scents, at least not the hundreds I've tried. This one is sweet...SEMI reminiscent of 1 Million, but it's better and by NO means a dupe. It's got this creamy, almost woody / sweet lotion sort of vibe going on while maintaining it's masculinity. I have no idea why but the image I get with this scent is a very "metro" guy. That good looking guy at a party that has his every hair in place, nice form fitting clothes, smooth, shaved skin, sharp jaw line, groomed, clear skin...while comfortable with his masculinity. That's the kind of guy I see wearing this. That's how I feel wearing this as a matter of fact. This one will make a girl wanna get closer to you. Trust me on that. I stated in my review for the female "Attraction" that it's the ultimate date perfume. That it would drive most men crazy. And ironically enough...the same exact goes for this scent for the opposite sex. Guys...WEAR this one a first date and you'll undoubtedly get a woman that doesn't wanna let go when you get your end of the night hug. This is such a...handsome, well groomed smell. Just sweet enough while the musk keeps it clean smelling, the tonka bean and woods give it some warmth, and the cardamom adds JUST enough spice. Goodness I love this stuff! I think I spent $20 or so on this. I'd spend double in the blink of an eye. Longevity - About 5-6 hours depending on amount of sprays. Projection - About 2-3 feet. Overall Score - 9.5/10. One of my absolute favorites from Avon and I own probably...20-30 scents from them. Two thumbs up! Intoxicating!! Needless to say I voted above with a "love."

Ever since I discovered Fragrantica, I have loved Mdox407's reviews. This is among the fragrances I bought thanks to his recommendations. It is an absolute winner. Not only is it quite nice but it is also affordable and not like other releases on the market. It is one of the few masculine fragrances I really like. I actually used up my bottle which is amazing considering I have about 90 bottles in my collection. The bottle lasted me 6 months, 3 different seasons (winter, spring, summer). I mainly wore it for my evening walks in the park. I also wore it to my first trip abroad. The design of the bottle is eye-catching and appealing. This scent is masculine, yet soft. It is a woody, creamy, fresh, warm and spicy scent. No sharp notes. I never got tired of it for the 6 months I wore it. The cardamom, tonka and musk are the main notes to my nose. Unfortunately, I don't think I can detect any patchouli. Though warm and fresh spicy, the scent reminds me of shaving cream in the best way. It is a fragrance that certainly enhances the clean feeling after a shower. Suitable for daily use, for the gym, for the office and for walks in the park. Its best quality is the performance - upper moderate, if not long lasting. It radiates for a solid 7 hours even on skin. The sillage is not very strong which makes it a good choice for daily use. It is great for any season aside from the chilliest winter days. If I didn't have so many bottles to go through, I'd repurchase this in a heartbeat. Give it a try!

Warm spicy, sweet, musky. And there's my review of Attraction for him by Avon. OK, it isn't going to set the world alight, there's nothing new to this fragrance, But what there is is very well done. The cardamom and light juniper opening quickly becomes a heavy musk. It has a strong amber note, more than likely the labdanum, which sits perfectly with the tonka bean. For the first hour the sillage is strong and then it settles down to a very well behaved and sophisticated warmth. Longevity is about 10 hours, noticeable for the first 6 before becoming a skin scent. I couldn't decide if this was just a high like or maybe a love; after 3 days solid wear, it's an I Love It.

Smells awesome, patchouli works really well as a middle note. Not complex but it really doesnt need to. Perfectly fine for daily wear. It works all year around. My GF Loves it. 8/10.

I purchased It for a dear friend of mine. Smells heavenly!
