Attraction Closer for Her

I really enjoy apple in my fragrances, so Attration Closer pulls me in immediately; honey-dipped apple & pear, accompanied with a squeeze of mandarin. Sweet and almost fizzy with a fresh energy. The florals in the mix are very well-balanced, so I struggle to seperate anything other than the listed tuberose out individually; I'm thinking something fruity like freesia, maybe ylang-ylang, and possibly a vanilla orchid accord. The honeyed fruit & tonka bean over a woody base brings wine to mind & I swear I can detect a note of Prosecco - result of my imagination, or one of the 4 fantasy accords in the fragrance. The sense of warmth and softness does bring skin to mind as the fragrance dries down - I can't name a scent, it's more of a feeling. The longevity is fantastic for the price; I'll still detect it over 8 hours after application, so I'm really happy with the performance. The projection is soft, but not as close to the skin as the name & description lead me to expect. I'd say that Attraction Closer is suitable all year around, day and night.

Opens up quite rather fruity, call me crazy but I personally smell something slightly reminiscent of banana... but pear and apple crisp does make sense. Once the initial fruitiness goes, it's significantly more pleasant than it's opening to me - call me crazy again but perhaps almost like a more powdery musky version of AG R.E.M Cherry Eclipse because as the opening dies down the fruitiness starts resembling some form of unintentional cherry on my skin. It's some sort of blurred line between banana and cherry for me and it doesn't make sense. The original Attraction was my signature for such a long time and it's still really good but none of these flankers come close to how good the original is. I'd say this is the best flanker out of them all (one of the red bottled ones is also nearly as good but I can't remember the name) but to be honest it's still miles off from being anywhere near as good as the original.

A sweet opening that vanishes in the blink of an eye. Even on fabric, it remains very ethereal and fleeting—with my nose pressed against the material, I can barely detect a slightly heavy sweetness, and that’s all.

I expected more judging from the scent on the brochure. It's absolutely generic, sweet-sour fruity scent with just a hint of honey. It's not bad but Avon has better perfumes, even cheaper ones. Ok for everyday informal wear, but nothing spectacular or outstanding. Decent durability of 4-5 hours, very mild sillage. Won't repurchase.

Not unwearable but the funniest comparison of all is the obe of this with Guidance Plus nothing is creepier than skin note in a perfume. Yuyks
