Black Suede Intense

This one has relatively quickly grown to be a love for me. Not in the sense of head over heals or instant narcotic but yet there is an addicting quality to it. It doesn't knock you out but it will stay with you over time - whiffs of it the next day, even. It will make you want more while not being sure you have enough. It is dependable, warm, soothing and nice (but this all assumes you like Amber). All preceding reviews of this are spot on IMHO. A word of warning, however. I love Amber sweetness, and the sweetness I was looking for was just not there with this the first few wearings. So I was initially disappointed. But since then the sweetness has shown up - and very nice indeed it is. So give this a little time before writing it off and reap the rewards. The bottle is heavy and the packaging is nice, too.

A very positive surprise. This is my second Avon fragrance, and both have exceptional longevity and good projection noting the price range - around 10€ for 75ml bottle! The scent opens up quite sweet to my nose. The sweetness fades out after the first 15-30 minutes and dries down to a deep, woody, masculine note. I test sprayed this on my wrist with two sprays. After 8 hours it still projected out a bit - it wasnt just a skin note. So longevity is great, while projection throughout is above average. Both longevity and projection beat most of my MUCH more expensive fragrances. The Scent 7/10 - Dont get me wrong when I say "not mindblowing". It is great. Projection 8/10 - Above average Longevity 10/10 - Near perfect, way over 8 hours Value 10/10 - What else could anyone ask for a 10€ scent?

This is the best ever Black Suede line fragrance for men from Avon. This is not overpowering fragrance. Longevity of this fragrance is beyond what you might expect. 7-8 hours. Good projection for 2 - 2 and a half hours. Highly recommended for those Amber lovers. You are going to smell great wearing this fragrance.

Got this for such a steal here in the Philippines. Cheap, but such compliment magnet!.male coworker told me i smell so good and that I would definitely get a girl with this scent 😁 performance is quite good despite the price. Get this while it’s still available.

A bit sweet, very peppery and ambery, a bit herbaceous and woody, a bit alluring and with a nice presence. Magnific fragrance! Cistus is missing from the notes published by Fragrantica. This one and the Oud Fragrance are the best Avon so far.

Woody herbaceous ambery cistus with hot warm pungent earthy black pepper. Simple fragrance but with a complex scent. No suede but fantastic!

Great for the price along with longevity and sillage. Definitely the compliment magnet.

Picked this up for $18 EBay... Nothing special, but just a nice mix of Amber/Pepper/Suede in the opening, and dries down to Amber/Suede. It's not a super projection monster, but has moderate sillage, and last a good while. I do pick up the CH Prive reference after it dries down. I could rock this in the fall/winter months, and perhaps even spring since it's not a beast mode frag. 6.8/10 - Budget Fragrance that's probably the best Avon fragrance I've run across. I would say this is a 30+ fragrance, as I don't think a young buck would enjoy this, and isn't going to pull much attention. This is more of a personal fragrance if you like the notes, or enjoy CH Prive sort of smells.

A great bang for the buck. Bought this for my boyfriend as a gift since I'm a student that's on a budget. Resinous amber sweetness is what I mostly get from this perfume. The black pepper note is not too aggressive so you're mostly getting the sweetness and a little bit of that spice. The scent lasted around 4 hours on my skin but it lasts longer on my boyfriends' skin i think around 6 hours which is awesome. Sillage is moderate but it is still a decent choice for intimate close moments and on a cold winter.

Blind buy for 10€ ! I just loveee the scent! I find it to be a masculine Poison from Dior and for that price I don't mind the weak sillage. Sure you don't what to get your hopes to high with that example. But not to low either,it's a well done frag. I'am getting back with the longevity Skin scent stays 6hours. In clothes stays 'till next day.

Really nice Avon offering, smells much more expensive than it is, a classy spicy amber with heavy to moderate sillage and 6/7 hours longevity. For me the best Avon masculine perfume (well, that is not so hard) sweet (but not cloyingly so), deep.

Very cheap, great preformance and overall ok fragrance. Must be one of the best avon products and that's why it's harder to get than for example black suede leather. It's pretty strong so it's not something for office. Never got any complements while wearing it though. Strong 2.25/5.

It took me a fair while to decide to purchase this and I am somewhat disappointed. I bought the cologne version also and there is absolutely no way these are similar. While the cologne is on the sweeter side, is pleasant and lasts three or four hours with two sprays, the intense easily doubles that time before becoming a skin scent that lasts for another eight or more hours. During this last few hours period of time it becomes a little sweeter and can be smelt on the skin for several hours even after a shower (you do need to mash your nose to your arm). Now what I am disappointed in is that even though the cap and box has Intense on it there is a overpowering smell of leather that is very dominant right through to the following day when it finally starts getting a slightly sweet scent reminiscent of the cologne coming through with the leather. I will have to layer these two together and see how that ends up otherwise if anyone in Australia wants the Intense version.......
