Blue Escape for Her

I bought this a few years ago on the secondary market due to reviews that said it reminded them of CK Escape. stashed it away and never opened the cellophane. Opened it on a warm autumn afternoon...I laughed, truly laughed when I smelled it. Actually playful like how you feel going to the beach. Nothing fancy or sophisticated just FUN! It doesn't remind me of CK Escape at all. More like Amaris New West for Women. And for the value, it's a total WIN!

Very no-fuss perfume. Spritz and go; you'll smell like clean skin and laundry and I don't think anyone will complain. It's also a nice respite from all of the food and dessert scents out there. This smells like an Ocean scented candle to me, and is the embodiment of clean and fresh. If you can't decide on a perfume, spritz this and head out the door.

I think this is treasure chest. It's not costly but is worth a lot to me! This is a truly natural scent. If you took a nap next to an old fallen tree that washed ashore, this is what you'd smell. Just sand, wood, and your own body after being in the sun and swimming all day. It's just brilliant.

Fresh, citrus, energetic. A great hot weather spritz. Needs another spritz mid day, a clean skin scent after the initial burst. Surprisingly good, layer with lotion for more longevity. Lotus is very nice, delicate. Overall a 7 out of 10 for smell, a 5 on duration.

Love it! I just had to purchase another one. Fantastic scent - particularly masculine fragrance - it feels as though I am wearing men's perfume and I certainly love it. I cannot tire of Blue Escape.

Wow! I'm loving this so much! A little sweetness, oceany, & floral. I have been really impressed with Avon's perfumes they are just well made.

This is so fresh and suitable for every day wear. I love the packaging and it is a steal for what you are getting!

Can somebody say a few words about this fragrance.It's on sale now and I wonder if it's worth buying.

I love this perfume! It is so fresh and sunny, like a spring morning. It has a light floral scent to it, but it's not too strong of a floral. I almost get a hint of a melon. It's slightly salty and aquatic, but more of a fresh air smell and not briny. This is a great perfume for warm sunny days when you just want to smell light and fresh.

This is rather unisex so I wonder why Avon released both a male & female version. Blue Escape is very salty and softly woody. I think perhaps I would like it better without the pear as I don't feel it melds well with the high level of salt. I'm not a fan of pear in general though so that may be a contributing factor.

I got a great eBay deal for the three piece set; it is pleasant and summery... not fruity; kind of has a /clean/fresh-linen/ almost masculine scent. Reminds me of line-dried sheets! I do get compliments when I wear it. I experiment with all fragrance from top of the line to big-box store specials....

Since I didn't already have a basic aquatic perfume this works. It's light, clean smelling, a bit marine and easy to wear. And it was super cheap which is always a plus. Totally inoffensive, something I could see spritzing on for a hot day when I need to just smell clean without overpowering anyone.

FYI All you BLUE Escape lovers...AVON is planning on Discontinuing this fragrance Next Month so if you really love it pick up extra bottles now!

Some people say that this is overly fruity but for me I detect no fruit at all and more musk than anything. This smell exactly like Wonderfleur (which I own perfume and lotion). Both are up for swaps if anyone is interested.

I had this perfume and didn't like anything about it. It was synthetic smelling to me. I was hoping for something clean like CK Escape but I wanted to "escape" from this fragrance. A real disappointment for me.

This smells just like the Northern California/Pacific Northwest beaches in the morning! In fact this is the most perfect rendering I have found of an ocean morning scent. Avon perfumes have always given me a rash so I use it as an air freshener in my car. I knew I was going to use it this way when I bought so I can't comment on the sillage or longevity on the skin. It does however last well on my floor mats. When I turn on the heater a few days after I have sprayed it I can still catch a whiff of it. (No offense intended to anyone who sells or likes Avon of course.)

@goldpoint- If it's on sale for 15-20$ or less than get it. Otherwise I'd hold off. The problem with this perfume is that the fruit note is overly pronounced, otherwise this would be a winner for Avon . I would put this as closer to a light floral than a aquatic . Basically it needs more of the salt/ozone scent to kick it over from pleasant but easily forgettable too good. I'm going to give it another chance & if it's still meh I'll be putting it up for swap.

In the first 10 minutes, I detect salt, marine quality to it, hint of woods. The floral (lotus) is not pronounced. It stays linear even after an hour. This could be worn by a man as it is too masculine for me. It certainly is aquatic. It brings the sea to my mind. One spray on me: Sillage: about a foot Longevity: 5 hours Rating: 2/5 as it smells good but not feminine

Just received this today...I really like it,smells clean and crisp.This might sound weird,to me this smells like a cross between Light Blue and New West!

The more I wore it the more I loved it. Aquatic, pear, and salt. Really fun for the summer. Not my usual but really fantastic in the heat.
