C'est Moi

It's so hard to describe, but I love it! It smells super warm despite the green, and there's a really forward fruit smell like peach, apple, or pear, a tiny bit of soapiness, something like allspice or anise, and definitely white floral as well like a gardenia or something. I'd describe this as a fresh scent for sure, also a little bit like a nice clean dentist's office? Not exactly in a bad way, though, and it's warm and homey enough that the sterile feeling isn't really there as much. Like a dentist who came home after work and is relaxing with a glass of bourbon. I don't know. One of my favourites from Avon for sure, though, and in my opinion could be completely unisex. I was actually a little surprised it's marketed as for women.

My mom sold Avon when this came out and I remember being very young and intrigued by this scent. It was certainly different from other Avon scents and while I had no idea what a French scent smelled like, I could tell this was very French.. not just because of the name either.

Got this in a different bottle a year ago (most likely a new tester version),opened last night...the aroma is incredible...true French perfume,even it is made in usa. Subtle,yet very noticeable,what a combination,smells quite expensive and different...non-ordinary.

Pleasant surprise from Avon. Blast from the past 90s era. Its soft creamy white floral, gardenia, tuberose, iris, peach and soft musk, if I was going to guess notes. Along the lines of Baiser Lalique, comforting scent that hugs you. Turns creamy lotion like with time. I love it. Wears close to skin, I smell it several hours later in the day. Very gentle scent. Glad I purchased it.

I purchased this when it was released and I still have it. It has kept perfectly. I loved it back in the day and now maybe wear it once a year, for something different. A little goes a long way and lasts a long time.

Very light and ethereal with tons of sandalwood, oakmoss for sure and/or vetiver because there is a bitter note, vintage rotten peach. I don't get any of the top notes and no pear or plum. Peach, sandalswood, oakmoss/vetiver and a hint of musk. I like this more in the base where it all comes together.

C'est Moi! - what a campy name. ...that's fine. The very opening is so curiously tart, like apples, ...and oakmoss? No note pyramid to lean on here, ...that's fine. This is some kind of green, fruity-floral concoction. There is ar e also odd herbal-aromatic notes, ...and perhaps a light touch of something with coumarin, ...immortelle? Reading below, some ascribe lily of the valley/muguet, but really not so much that. To wear this, one needs to accept a very dry, tart, sweet-sour sensation. It really goes past any ordinary green note, ...almost like aluminium foil, but as a scent, instead of a taste. The deeper drydown softens somewhat, but that tartness never disappears. This just might add a successful strangeness to some layering combinations, ...but where to begin, that is the enigma.

This says I am feminine and I am here! Avon really know how to lead with Lily of the Valley. This is a love for me. Floral with a sweet refreshing oriental feel. A perfume for all year round for me. Green and sexy, with sweet resinous effect. Amazing that it stays uplifting and reminiscent of Spring.Masterful blending. Strong at the start, fading to a soft powdery floral mix. Avon classic thats as good as any high end that I posses. Get it if you can.

I simply ADORE this bottle. It looks as artistic as sculpture - and appears as full of joie de vivre as the vibrant color and lettering imply! Those of you who lived such a rich era of perfume are very lucky Fragranticans.... I will TRY not to be envious of you. :)

very special perfume but avon as always do discontinued it (most of her best sellers perfumes). i hope that someone of the company read these reviews.

a very confidece giving scent, for every type of women. is the perfect fragrance as well for night as for daytime. you can never be wrong with it.
