Cherish

Everytime I smell this, I smell Ari by Ariana Grande! Only three notes are identical but at first spray the raspberry jasmine sambac are from Ari and the bergamot note is a hint of Sweet Like Candy. I can’t pick out the the pepper note for some reason! EDIT : The jasmine and bergamot note is in Sweet Like Candy. The raspberry note is in Ari. This smells like another flanker in the perfume line!

The cherry blossom opening on this is gorgeous. Good sillage initially. It stays close to the skin on drydown though. Not massive staying power sadly. The drydown vaguely reminds me of a very soft version of Thierry Mugler Womanity. It turns aquatic on the drydown on my skin. Yummy still!

I hope this come to Portugal! Will make me super happy! *o*

I have this one in my collection for many years. What firstly attracted me to this is that cherry blossom, because I bough it having in mind that image with sakuras in bloom from the anime, and people resting under the trees and watch the fleeting petals. And this fragrance did not disappoint my expectations, because it truly smells like white cherry blossoms (this is all I can pick up in this, along with a little peppery note, mild jasmine, and woodsy accords), but just like the cherry blossoms this fades away too soon, and strangely, it doesn't bother me at all. Just like it's title, I cherish it while it lasts (4 hours at most on my skin, quite bold in the first 5-10 minutes, then it tones down in less that an hour, becoming more like a skin scent). It's a nice and familiar fragrance, to me, this reminds me of a spring day, when trees bloom.

I decided to purchase it from curiosity. Many times I was passing through the pages of the catalogue and after few sniffings, i wondered....is it worthy? so i saw it in 30ml bottle one day, and i said "now's the time". My first impression from the page was of something sweet and fruity. But when I unpacked it, it was more on the flowers' side. The cherry blossom is very intensive, also there is a particular sweetness which i enjoy. It's a total spring masterpiece, don't think it will work for me during the winter. But i dislike waiting, so probably it will be finished by the spring :D

My nose detects lots of cherry blossom, which I love, so this is an instant like for me. However, most Avon fragrances have a common problem - each new resembles the previous one. So if I have to evaluate the originality of Cherish, it's nothing special. Anyway, this ia a nice and safe musky white floral. The pink pepper in this, doesn't bother me - it's subtle.

I am surprised when I saw no caramel among the notes mentioned. I only get caramel,even reminding me of the Gold Couture by Viva La Juicy. I like this perfume to be honest. What attracted me is the bottle, it looks so classy and elegant. About smell, I only get caramel, caramel and caramel... Silleage and longevity are satisfactory.

Really nice smell but lasts quite short. Everyone around you can smell it when you put it right away but after few minutes nobody can smell it around you (only if somebody came really, really close to you then they can). I really liked the smell but not the longevity.

A lovely cherry blossom scent which becomes more creamy; I find this best spritzed on clothes/scarves on a fresh spring morning - then the purity and airiness of the scent stays truest to the blossom notes I prefer. On skin it becomes fruitier.

I put Cherish in the 'just another Avon' category. Wouldn't rebuy but will happily wear it to work. The woodsey note is nicely done, soft fresh florals. Very close to the skin.

I wasn't too keen on this when I first put it on but after a few minutes it smells sweet and flowery but not overly powerful. I couldn't smell it at all after an hour though.

Sweet, fruity, musky. I like it but don't love it. Its fairly long lasting on me and I like the cherry blossom and peppery overtones. Its a happy perfume.

Cherish is a perfume that definitely didn't resonate with me. It is a nice scent, not bad at all, especially since it was a blind buy, and not very expensive one. However, clean, and some white floral fragrances are not my cup of tea. At first, it smells clean on me, with fresh and soft spicy notes paired with white florals. On clothes, there are also some sweet notes. A little later, the cleanliness disappears, and afterwards the scent becomes sweeter and a little spicier with white floral notes. The spiciness comes out especially on the skin. This scent is not very long lasting, it lasts around an hour on me. The projection is not strong either, so I think it is perfect for situations when you want to wear a perfume but not to be too intense for people around you. I didn't really get any citrus notes. Cherish smells like a spring day fragrance to me, but I think it could be worn any time of the year if the weather is not too warm. Since I smelled it for the first time, I didn't feel 'the connection'. Sometimes I find my way to such fragrances, but it didn't happen with this one. I tried wearing it to gym since the scent profile on me is amazingly contrasting the gym in my opinion, but after some time, I didn't feel happy when I sprayed it on me anymore. I would definitely recommend it for white floral lovers that enjoy some spicy and sweet notes.

So, somebody below said it’s a “textbook definition of a floral generic perfume” and I agree. I just don’t think it’s a bad thing. Very Avonesque and quite boring, but not bad. I will not buy it, but I would rather sit on the plane next to someone wearing Cherish than some niche peat-dust-tofu-incense invention. It is, however, definitely something we all smelled a thousand times. To everyone saying they’re picking up cherry blossoms - cherry blossoms don’t really have a discernible scent, they are virtually odorless and it is a fantasy note in perfumery 🤓

Cherry blossoms, spring, joy.. Cannot say anything critical about this perfume. It's pure joie de vivre in the middle of a dark November season. i bought the whole set for myself, and I'm glad I did. I've been wanting a perfume with cherry flowers for some time now, and the set of Cherish happened to catch my attention in Avon catalog. Very fresh, bright opening, softens to a more creamy drydown, yet the cherry blossom notes remain. This is not a delicate cherry flower scent, but a crisp, peppery one. Cherish has become my regular scent for workdays.

There is a note here that I could discern that is not listed and that's caramel. There is a definite heavy clout of confectionery in this, which reminded me of La Vie est Belle. It was a bit sweet and overly vanilla for my taste, but I'm sure it will do well.

Too much pepper! When the pepper finally fades away, the Cherish becomes a pleasant white flowers+musk scent. But I do not detect the cherry blossom. Overall it is nothing special. The commercial is not true: the perfume does not last all day.

The initial spray is soft fruity flowery on me but when it settled, the scent turned grandma-ish on me. It is hard to describe, but it is like heavy floral and powdery scent. Yikes

Way too much caramel and sugar. It smells very synthetic, It's far too sweet and syrupy, it's nothing special and not at all original. It'll probably be a bestseller!

The smell is mostly powdery and white floral. Almost like old makeup, but stronger. There's something kind of synthetic to it. It is a very generic scent.

Very sharp peppery powdery floral. Reminds me of men dirty unwashed sweaty armpits with powdery old grandma vibes. Lasts around a hour.

This is basically fruit syrup and pink pepper. I found this to be syrupy sweet,probably from the raspberry. The pink pepper however,gives it something extra,providing a much needed balance. The cap is weird. Instead of covering the top of the sprayer,it covers the underside of it. Anyway,in my personal opinion,I'd like even more pepper,and less raspberry.

A nice little scent of white flowers, its beginning is peppery.... fresh spicy, then immediately after it becomes a nice sweet floral, you can definitely perceive the cherry blossom, something exotic, also given by the tiare', for Luckily I don't perceive anything jasmine-like (thank goodness I don't like it), its finish remains like this, languid... sweet... caressing, hence its name for sure! Purchased on a well-known website for just over €6, I highly recommend it, I find it very suitable for autumn/winter or perhaps even in spring due to its sweet floral scent, I would say it lasts excellent on my skin. It's a shame it's not available on Avon Italia, but I repeat, it's very accessible on the internet

Ohh this perfume! This is the definition of a creamy floral scent. I need to be in the mood to like and wear it. Sometimes it is a chemical mess, sometimes it is a slightly fruity, light, delicate cherry blossom with the creamiest sandalwood and a dose of strong, pure, white jasmine. Tonight it is the latter. In the night our, Cherish blooms with tiny little buds of cherry blossom and jasmine. It embraces you and feels so comforting!

IMO this is the most pointless perfume in existence globally. Initially it's all alcohol with faint peach tones, then twenty minutes later it's literally vanished! I've never come across anything so insipid. No personality, no character, no fragrance. It's nothing at all like the wonderful, vibrant, sophisticated "Today" by Avon, as one reviewer claims: the two couldn't be more different.

This is an interesting perfume in a way that it changes so much throughout its life-cycle. At first sniff it`s full alcohol and sweet. And then somewhere around time between minutes 20-60 it`s quite unpleasant for me but then it dries down to this fresh, innocent, beautiful scent. And at that stage it is very similar to Avon Today indeed as some of you have mentioned here.

This is not the type of scent that I would buy myself, but I received it as a gift. I expected it to be more floral, but it is actually very fruity and musky, while the floral notes are subdued. It is rather generic... smells like countless drugstore fragrances... sweetish, juicy, mildly tropical. I will probably pass it on to my preteen niece.

Nice, not very lasting but also not very weak inoffensive, feminine but a bit boring fragrance. I normally like avon perfumes as they are not very dividing, good for all tastes, safe selection for everyday use, but will not repurchase

Except that it has less staying power and a somewhat cheaper overall ambience, this is a very close cousin to Estee Lauder's Modern Muse - i.e. a sharp white floral.

I am not a fan of body/hair mists normally, but the one named by this perfume is quite good and strong! Fruity floral sweet fragrance, nice and not offensive :)

Super nice perfume, wow Avon, you've got a winner here I think! Reminiscent of "Today" but softer and sharper...not usually a big fan of musks, but love this!

This is the textbook definition of a floral generic perfume! A lot of alcohol mixed with a little bit of flower-ish room freshner. Awful!

This fragrance smells pretty similar to Miracle by Lancome. After checking out their notes, I've found 3 or 4 common notes in them.

I think it has a beautiful smell. I'm not a very flowery person but even my hubby and sons love the smell. very clean
