Eve Privé

Eve Privè opens with the clean yet sweet scent of freshly sliced apple fragments. Sometimes I don't get apple, but what seems to me to be some kind of berry blend instead. The jasmine is the only floral note that I can clearly pick up on, although I think that I can just about decide a delicate rose-like note in the background. The cedarwood develops around the same time as the jasmine and the floral/wood blend has a warmth to it - it's like when clothes come out of a dryer and the fibers are all warm, it's more of a feeling of mild heat than a distinguishable scent. Being such a soft, feminine & clean fragrance does make Eve Privè quite linear, but as it's so simple and uncluttered, it doesn’t smell artificial. Eve Privè is deliberately close to the skin so just you and that special someone can enjoy it rather then the whole building, which makes it hard to pinpoint the exact longevity as this is such an intimate skin-scent; I do get the occasional hint of woody jasmine up to 8 hours after initial application, but I can't be any more precise. I'm very impressed by how well-made and expensive Eve Privè seems - the fresh-clean-warm composition of Eve Privè is perfect for the spring and summer seasons, as it is subtle & light. The inoffensiveness and easy wearabilty of it, make Eve Privè perfect for those who work very closely with others; I can't imagine anyone being offended by it - which also makes it a good gift option too.

I've been wearing this fragrance every day for the past week since it arrived. Its a very subtle "quiet" scent. Its not screechy or headache inducing. It's understated, but lovely. The apple note is like smelling the skin of a red apple before biting into it. Its not crisp or zingy. The apple, jasmine and cedar notes are so well blended and hard to distinguish from each other. I've been layering it with the body lotion which makes the lovely fragrance last all day. It's inoffensive and very much a skin scent on me. I wasn't sure that the fragrance being so subtle would last. When I got undressed for bed the fragrance is still there. Its a lot more subtle than all of the fragrances in the Eve line, and I think the best. I've already bought another. It's joined TBS White Musk and CD Pure Poison as my go to scents when I want a subtle, clean fragrance.

i've had this fragrance for a while and thought it was okay on first test, but it smelled a bit like hand cream to me and i was much more into creamy florals at the time so it stayed untouched. but for some reason i'm getting into red apples at the moment, and this delivers exactly that! it's super simple but a very skin-friendly scent, i get creamy red apples and not much else. the accords say white floral and fresh but i don't smell either of those. but i've always found avon scents with too many notes get muddled and perfumey, whereas their more linear perfumes can really smell great! now that it's closer to winter, getting cold, and i'm wearing heavier dresses and big frilly coats i've returned to this fragrance and it's serving me well. makes me feel like snow white!!

I usually have a problem with apple notes: they smell nice and zesty first, but turn into plastic or even metallic on my skin. In Eve Privé the apple note is not crispy. but soft. It's not the first juicy bite, but rather the smell of an apple, just peeled. It's very pleasant and non-offensive. And it doesn't change into anything unpleasant on my skin. This is Avon's take on the "your skin but better"-theme, and it's a good one. Eve Privé is soft, light, pleasant, comfy. You can easily wear this in areas where perfumes are not allowed. It's also a nice scent to wear at home. The body lotion is a nice addition to the eau de parfume. The bottle is very pretty.

It's a very beautiful scent! I was really impressed after applying it from the tester. Immediately bought a whole bottle. It's creamy and sweety fragrance! I can't smell any notes listed; only an apple a little bit. But I can imagine cream or berries in cream. Longevity and sillage is moderate; I have to reapply it during the day. But I'm happy to do it, because the top notes are the best. It's ideal for wetty weather. The bottle is gorgeous, of peachy and creamy color, tender like a scent. Worth to try!

It’s clean. It’s inoffensive, but nothing groundbreaking here. It has that 'fresh out of the shower on a sunny day' vibe. I would love it more if it had some sillage and a little bit more staying power.

even though i dislike apple notes, there is a ripe, red apple in this perfume. it smells luscious, expensive, perfect for a woman ( it e not your typical girly perfume) . I'm loving it!

Subtle and sweet , uplift the mood , great for spring and can be used on summer too

This is a very inoffesive scent, like some reviews have mentioned. However, it is not for everyone. I bought the mini version of this just to try and already can say I will not be purchasing full size bottle. The apple in this perfume is sweet, someone mentioned it smelling more like a berry blend, which I find to be pretty accurate. It's a bit too sweet for my liking, but I do find that to be my main complaint for many perfumes, so it might be just my problem. Also, the perfume has some powdery notes, fragrantica does not say that perfume contains musk notes, but avon does state that, and I think that's where the powderyness comes from. I'm not big on powdery perfumes as well. Overall, the perfume is very simplistic, fine for everyday home wear, and I would probably use it up if I ever receided it from someone else, but would never go and purchase it myself. It's just too simple, too ordinary, you can find something similar pretty much anywhere.

To me this reads like a bowl of ripe pears steeped in a dry white wine. Comforting and classy, smooth not zingy. Wonderful in autumn, when it becomes quite powdery and elegant. The powdery dry quality makes it feel more adult, it's not some juicy fruit teen scent.

Very, very subtle. Dry, powdery, fruity. Office friendly or a bedtime scent. Pleasant but not extraordinary. Needs frequent reapplication. I'll use mine up for work but won't repurchase.

I don't get apples at all, my nose gets raspberries in the opening, definitely more a sweet berry burst than an apple note. After a short time, the jasmine note comes through, and that is the best part, it's a very pleasant progression. The drydown is a very light, soothing wood note. Very inoffensive, very feminine, it's a good fragrance. Performance, fitting for the price.
