Eve Truth

I just received my bottle of Eve Truth. It is a demo, so the perfume is new and will be launched in February. The colour is less strong than the picture shows, very light green. The scent itself falls into the category of fragrances that I love most: fresh, light, office friendly, mood lifting. I was a bit disappointed though. I expected this to be a bit more unique - nothing extraordinary, but still a bit more different than it is: very close to some other Avon scents with different name.. The scent has different notes, it is not linear, but it's character is weak. I could not recognise it if someone else was wearing it, I am sure. The bottle is pretty. I do like my Eve Truth a lot. I love the clean, crisp breeze it brings. It's not perfumy, more like just a fresh spring breeze.. and I love spring!

So, I bought this ONLY because @mustaine said that this is a copy? of TTA Always (one of my favorites). And yes, I can totally agree with that. It's a little bit more sweet, fresh and joyfull (TTA is more juicy and classy if you ask me) but gives the same vibe (similar notes). So thank you. After 1000 years I find my happy side again 😂 It's a fresh scent ideal for wet days (spring, summer and fall/autumn). It's make you happy. Negative side is that you need to reapply it every hour 🙁. Since I love it I will buy it again and in general I think that its a safe blind buy for you if you like fresh, fruity and a little sweet scents. If you are more in a heavy, dark notes, RUN. This is sunshine (after rain) in a bottle 🙃

Not usually a fan of Avon perfumes, besides a couple of the Far Away line. But this one is special, it reminds me of the discontinued Gucci Envy. Not exactly the same, I can't find anything that smells exactly like Gucci Envy but it matches all the things that I loved about it. The freshness, the crisp sweetness if the fruit, the light woody musky undertones. Not too floral which suits me well. Last a few hours on me, the smell is a very clean, fresh, confident scent. I wear it a few times a week on the morning school run. Definitely one to have in the collection:)

Great as gift for someone who loves light, flowery fresh scents. Nothing special though, dont expect any mesmerizing effect. It reminds me of some regular scents from the drugstore. But very office friendly, springy scent. A bit more sweet on my skin than expected.

Fresh, fruity, green, light daytime scent.

Not my usual style of perfume at all and I probably only used as much of it as I did because I didn't have as many perfumes as I do now when I was gifted this. I got the set with the body cream, a travel size and I think there was a rollerball. It isn't bad though. It's very weak and doesn't project much at all but the smell itself is quite nice. It's a fresh, apple sort of smell. It's what people call a clean girl aesthetic scent. Apple isn't listed but I can smell it very clearly. Almost like a very watered down DKNY Be Delicious. Dries down to a soapy, shower gel, just had a shower and feeling super clean smell. I haven't smelled Daisy by Marc Jacobs so can't compare but the notes aren't the same so I don't know how close they'd actually be. I don't get any violet from this which is the top and mid notes of Daisy. This is just pure fresh, crisp, apple and maybe pear, with some sort of non descript florals. There's something about it that reminds me of when you get the Avon brochure and you can scratch the page to smell the perfume and you can smell the shiny pages of the book aswell. It's OK for the price, if you like freshies then you'd probably like this. I do remember wearing the body cream and the perfume together in the summer and thinking it was nice but my tastes have changed a lot since then. If it performed better I'd probably still wear it on blazing hot days though. I used to take the small travel size that came with the set in my handbag to top up through the day, so if you can get the whole set you'll probably be able to get around the performance issues that way.

Eve Truth surprised me with its lightness. I was expecting something stronger & sweeter, having read the fruit-lead scent notes before hand. The fragrance is somewhat sweet, but on me it leans strongly towards the side of being more invigoratingly fresh and dewy, with a sharper drydown at the end. The top and heart of Eve Truth blends seamlessly in a mix of star fruit, pomegranate, peony & hint of vanilla on me, before sharpening into a base of gardenia, sharp musk and cedar. I can’t separate the other floral notes that have been used outside of a subtle breeze of freesia and jasmine, but the impression of 'green & watery' created by the combination stops the fruit notes from being sickly sweet. Overall the light, airy scent is perfect for the warmer weather, although I’ll wear mine all year round as it comes of as chilly and icy in colder weather, which is a feeling I enjoy - it's a refreshing cleanser for my senses, when I've been wearing stronger sweet blends too often in a row. The longevity and sillage for the Eve Discovery range isn't Avon's best; Eve Truth is pretty quiet, and wears on skin for around 5 hours on average. Spraying it onto fabric gets you up to 7 hours of wear. Not amazing, but it wears the same as scent-alike Daisy and costs much less, so I think it is a good buy.

I really like this one! Possibly one of my favourite Avon perfumes and it receives so many compliments! It's fresh and green and floral, a perfect inoffensive every day fragrance. I would say it's more suited to spring and summer, but could easily be worn all year round. It's feminine and uplifting; you honestly can't go wrong. Whilst it is in many ways similar to MJ Daisy, it is in my opinion a little sweeter and heavier. It's got a sticky lingering sugary sense that almost contrasts the more delicate and breezy aura of Daisy. Aside from this there's little to know- it's an easy blind buy, inexpensive and almost impossible not to like. It's not really anything special, just a beautiful, classy, easy everyday wear. It smells exactly like you'd expect it to looking at the bottle. It's not very strong, and the silage is intimate but it's still present enough that people notice it. The floral notes are light and well blended, and the green is slightly more prominent which gives it a somewhat aquatic tinge. If this sounds up your street and you're a fan of the original Daisy, I think you'll really like this- just don't expect an identical product.

I have just received bottle of this one and I must say is way different than I expected. First of all it smells different than the brochure page but it does have the Avon gen in it. I like it, it's fresh floral type - very feminine and very happy. It reminds me so so much Avon other gem which is Sunny Skies (discontinued ages ago) which I still own. It's maybe more white flowery than Sunny Skies but to be quite honest it smells like Sunny Skies. I think this frag is great for everyday between spring and summer, for hot days as it's not heavy. I wouldn't recommend it for winter and cold season as it might get a bit too synthetic. It's very cheerful flanker. I love the bottle the 50ml as well as the 100ml (different bottle). I would recommend it to buy and try this out. 2024 EDIT: I Have purchased full bottle recently for my Mother. And I must say this is very much different than Sunny Skies. It's is fresh, green and feminine. My Mom loves it, she calls it freshie ;) And it is indeed fresh, floral like soon coming Spring.

You sort of always know an Avon perfume when you smell it. They have weak silage: are always slightly — but noticeably — chemical. There is an impression of powder to most of their scents. Eve Truth is no exception. Upon spraying it the cassis dominates; as it settles, what you get is freesia, clean and powdery, something musky just underneath it. Hints of peony. This is not a perfume that radiates, no matter how much of it you spray. It also has poor longevity: four, five hours at best, less on the wrists, where it is gone after the second time you’ve washed your hands. Something about it makes me nostalgic, although I couldn’t tell you what. It’s good for what it is.

Fresh and dewy, with a sharper drydown. Perfect for spring/summer. I've developed a thing for pomegranate in my fragrances and enjoy that this has some, but not too much - actually all of the different scent notes are hints, but none stand out overly much. In my small vintage Avon collection I have a little known 60s/70s cologne called First Flowers and Eve Truth is almost identical to it - and Marc Jacobs has clearly gotten inspiration from First Flowers too.

An overall easy-reach scent, but there's nothing really extraordinary about it. Smells like a fresh, fruity shampoo, which is just the type of scent I enjoy and therefore already have a ton of. For its cheap price it's worth a shot, but there are definitely better fruity shampoo fragrances out there. What I like about this one though is that I can really sense the starfruit note in there, which is fun!

This truly is a fresh fragrance, reminiscent of a wet spring afternoon. It's very bright, light and juicy. The blackcurrant note is luscious and prominent, backed up by green Woody notes. It's a little soft in terms of performance, longevity is on the lighter side. The bottle is very pretty, but seems at odds to the fragrance, formal bottle, casual fragrance. Nice, but too fleeting.

At last a fresh, green and slightly fruity, Northern-summer-smelling perfume from Avon, without any amber or musk that would ruin the whole sensation of freshness! I don't really get any cedar here, rather fresh leaves, dew and some delicate flowers. Great choice for spring and a relatively blind buy for fresh/soapy/green florals, despite rather sharp drydown.

Sweet & floral scent. Not too strong so it is perfect for spring day time. It reminds me of someone walking down the flower field on a beautiful spring afternoon. This is actually my mom's but I do steal it from time to time when I feel like wearing it (usually when I'm staying at home or before sleep).

I like this one, although it resembles MJ's Daisy a lot. The same violety spring undertone, with a little bit of green twist. For the autumn season will come a bit softer than the needed, so if you still want to slow down the summer end, spray hard :D

I don't like this scent on my skin, especially after a while when it sits and changes. But this is great as air freshening scent, if you like your bathroom to smell nice this is awesome for it. Would buy again just for this purpose, good price too!

Fresh, gentle and feminine. A pretty spring/summer scent but too light for my liking. On me this is more of a skin scent and doesn't last longer than few hours. Received a sample of this which I gladly used but wouldn't buy a bottle.

Does it makes sense to say it smells like Avon? This is exactly what I imagine when talking about Avon perfumes. 😅 Reminds me of the old green TTA Always. I like it, it's sheer, lovely, nothing special.

I swear I can smell some fresh sweet green apple, but the notes say otherwise! Anyways, a very nice, simple but enjoyable scent. Try it on a cloudy, windy summer day. Worked so well for me :)

Such a feminine, clean and fresh scent. It can show its beauty best in summer I guess, since it's very light. I like this scent a lot. Though I wish it was a little stronger.

It's mostly florals I can smell in this, almost no fruits. It isn't strong whatsoever, very fresh and perfect for hot summer.

Wowee! Reminds me of Daisy Love so sweet. A greeny melon bomb version... For the price difference it's pleasant enough. It's not close enough to any Marc Jacobs perfume to claim It's "Just like"... It's kinda masculine, way too green and not interesting enough myself, so I shall give it to one of my colleagues or friends... It's super cheap 50ml being £10ish. I love my expensive perfumes; however if everytime I wear something it costs £1 in perfume sparying. I wouldn't want to waste it on my dog walks and walking around a supermarket... Just not my thing 5/10 Not gross But like not very nice Boring and not for me It's not a super girly pretty princess flower smell...

6/10 - (Perfume is yet to macerate) The perfume is pretty, weak and intimate. Hopefully that changes after some months, will update. Screechy and alcoholic with a fresh and feminine drydown. Can see why people say it is a summer perfume because it is reminiscent of a flower field <3 Apparently it is a dupe of Daisy Marc Jacobs. Overall, happy to use it on days when I'm at work for everyday use, but slightly disappointed as prefer stronger perfume. Considered reselling as paid £25 and could get much better perfumes with that money but decided to keep as a work perfume, saving my more loved perfumes Update: macerated and was lovely 2 months ago. Now it's questionable

This smells like every sample strip in a magazine I ever smelled as a kid. It's very fresh and rather too sharp and screechy to my nose at first, but then it dries down to something nicely sweet and floral, and melony as Biggest.Nose below said. I find the sillage a bit disappointingly weak, but apparently even so it's possible to overspray, because a few minutes after I spritzed a bit more, my husband walked into the room and then told me whatever it is I'm wearing is making his eyes sting. Welp. I like it, it's nice, but there's nothing special about it. I won't replace it when it's done, or probably even think of it ever again.

I bought this as a part of a sampler pack. It's a pretty, inoffensive, office friendly perfume. The star fruit is noticeable, but light. It does not stand out of the other notes and blends in nicely. There is a bit of melon in this as well. Very light, mild fruity notes. This is a light, spring or summer scent. It feels fresh. I would describe this perfume as "pretty". A little bit like fruity shampoo. It's not bad. I can see myself wearing this sometimes.

Eve Truth smells pleasant, however sillage and longevity are non existent - seriously, most of my Acqua Colonia EdC-s stay longer on my skin. I feel mostly fresia surrounded by fruits. The cassis could be stronger, adding a bit more tartness and maturity to it. I sprayed my 10ml mini without regrets, but also without ever thinking about getting a whole bottle, and I think that says a lot.

Not liking the cedar in this one, but that is my personal taste. It reminds me of air freshner. I can't smell past that note, so it is a no from me. Looking at the picture of the bottle, it's a pity because that bottle is beautiful. *I also got just a sample.

It smells like those cheap perfume dupes with names ending with collection and each perfume is a number. I got the full size perfume btw. Truly smells like nothing, smells mostly like alcohol. The dry down smells fruity, but very weak. No longevity nor projection. The only positive is that the bottle looks pretty

Quite sharp, intense and dense. Doesn't remind me of Daisy at all. Daisy is airy, spring like, happy. Eve truth is a very heavy floral, even syrupy fruity floral. Good for evening wear, quite a heavy perfume too. Not what I expected at all. But maybe that's the truth? The bottle implies one scent, but it is completely nothing like 'promised'. Truth in your face. Turns into a floral woody musky scent soon. Cedar, musk + sweetish fruits and heavy florals. I swear I can smell pomegranate! Not what I would usually go for, but an interesting addition to the collection :) worth trying.

Since Yves Rocher stopped selling Nature I've been trying to find another fresh and green fragrance I like, and when I had a sample of this I like it because it's also fresh and green. Reminds me of spring. Maybe not as botanical smelling as Nature and different than Noa, another green fragrance I like. Think it would be nice to spray on after a shower to keep feeling fresh. Says on the Avon website that it's part of the Eve Discovery Collection, created and designed by Laurent Le Guernec

I was so disappointed with this scent. I was expecting a fresh bright scent. Sadly on me, it just smells "green" and wet wood. No floral notes at all. From the notes of the composition, I thought it sounded just what I like in scents.I was convinced it must be the aqua note - but no aqua notes are listed. I will try it in the colder months to see if it smells different on me.

Nothing to write home about, exceptionally basic, pleasant, clean. Safe office scent. Weak longevity and sillage, you will be the only one who smells it. Pretty green and fresh fragrance, ozonic, slightly citrusy, like fresh flowers and unripe fruits in the wind. Body mist performance.

Не могу его разбить на ноты, что-то свежее, чистое и цветочное для меня. Подойдёт для любого случая, в офис, на прогулку, летом, осенью, всегда. Оформление флакона шикарное, мятно-зеленая жидкость, стекло огранённое как бриллиант, безумно приятно держать в руках.

To me this is a standard nice, floral green fragrance for spring & summer & will do well in hot days. Nothing new or remarkable but it's an easy day to day grabbable scent. Doesn't project the most but it's so cheap I wouldn't mind reapplying every 4 hours.

Nice clean sweet fruity floral smell that does not last too long. Not recommended for the tropics. You may have to spray twice a day to make the scent last. Those who dislike vanilla based perfumes like me will appreciate this scent.

It is light, floral and a little bit aquatic, but not really similar to MJ Daisy which I was hoping for... however it reminds me of another old casual: Reaction from Kenneth Cole.
