Everafter

I believe this was marketed in the UK under the name Avon Sensual (not to be confused with the later Sensuelle). The bottle design of Everafter is identical to Sensual's which I own several bottles of, and was also launched in the 80's. My other hunch is that it was Avon's take on Cinnabar albeit a not so punchy version. It also had a similar-ish box. It is spicy, warm and ideal for cold evenings. The previous reviewer is spot on in that it has a hint of the masculine about it, which incidentally I love, and I remember getting the talc come through from Avon and actually thinking to myself that I might have been sent a men's one by mistake at the time. I was wrong. There was also a body crème in a pot, which I also own. If you come across a bottle of this do try. I love Avon too, but this was one of the classic Avon scents and they don't make them like this anymore. The closest I came to was Avon Surrender for Women but that's been discontinued a long time too.

Lel's review is spot-on. Vintage Everafter is def. worth a try! The spice notes are delicious, not too strong or sharp, just right. There is a similarity to Cinnabar as well as several Krizia scents. I detect a bit of honey in the composition, although it isn't listed on the pyramid. E. is far, far better than anything Avon has produced lately. It's not a modern fragrance, it's a classic.

Vintage lovers, do try this before you drop the big bucks on a questionable bottle of (name your unicorn) 1980's chypre. The note list above is not at all complete to me because I get florals and animalics as well as spices and green. I recall it does not last like an '80's power scent, but that's not always a bad thing.

It's perfect for me. Not too loud, yet not indistinguishable. I detect spices for sure, but it must be the herbal elements that tone them down. A very comfy balance of spices and herbal notes.
