Far Away Aurora

Queridinho, eu sou apaixonada pela família far way, pois na minha pele deles sempre foram de longa duração e projeção. O aurora tem uma combinação que me agrada demais, que é a pimenta rosa e o limão italiano, o doce fica por conta das notas de Baunilha. É a tipica fragrância menina mulher sabe, com um toque romântico e sonhador.

On my skin it becomes a softer version of OG Far Away, that powdery vanilla, with persistent cardamom that touches the nose. The spiciness remains until I wash it off. It's beautiful, unisex, and very versatile, although in my humble opinion, I don't think spicy does cold weather well.

I fell in love with it's smell since I found it on catalogue and tried it. Then I ordered it. The real smell was as good as a tester. Vanilla is the most in this perfume. But I wouldn't say it's for everybody.... it's more for people who like sweet mysterious perfumes.

The best smelling Far Away is definitely Aurora! I was mesmerized when I first smelled it; it has such a clean scent. It reminds me of a pure white fairy. Its longevity is quite high I really wish it hadn't been discontinued...

Just smelled this and it is instant love, it's clean yet sweet and mysterious. I'd wear it any season, as it's not overpowering. So so so sad it's discontinued now.

This fragrance is similiar to Oriflame Visions Miss Punk. It was a great scent. Floral, milky and sensuell 😊

Far Away Aurora opens with a spiced lemon, for a lovely zap of energy - tart & fresh, but also sweet & spicy. The water lily note also develops pretty quickly and also mixes well with the spicier notes. As the opening fades fairly quickly, the remaining floral blend in the heart is pure Far Away, in my opinion; floral notes like orange blossom, jasmine, violet, and osmanthus, aren't mentioned anywhere, but theyre here to provide that signature creamy powdered backdrop to the fragrance. The fresh yogurt accord breaks up the powdered feel a bit, with it's gentle milky tones and it also adds more creaminess to the gentle vanilla, which develops around the same time. There isn't that much difference between the heart as it deepens into the final stages, just some kind of skin-like musk - the powdered florals and vanilla hog the spotlight. I do think that there is orris in the base, as the gently fading powdery floral blend seems to recharge after a while. The longevity and aura are what I've come to expect; amazing for the lower price-point, averaging at around 9/10 hours and radiating around a foot. Be careful not to apply too much - it's strong enough to become sickly in warmer weather. A little while ago I said that Far Away Glamour was the flanker that I found the most reminiscent to the original Far Away, but I take that back now - Far Away Aurora has just taken that crown. If the spiced lemon opening and/or the yogurt accord had been a bit louder, I think that I'd have enjoyed this fragrance a lot more. Don't get me wrong - I find Aurora very pleasant, I was just hoping for a bit more originality. The powdery heart of Aurora is a bit too close to the original Far Away for me to really get excited about - I've gone through a perfume pen happily and have made a good start on my bottle, but I'm not sure if I enjoy it enough to bother replacing the bottle when it is done. I might if I see a good offer as Aurora is more wearable than the original, but I can't help being slightly underwhelmed overall.

It's a beautiful, sweety scent! The DNA of the first release may be traced in it. I can smell too much vanilla, but it's a soft vanilla. Also, Aurora contains light herbal notes, balancing the sweetness and making it lighter. I was surprised by the note of yogurt; I don't feel it here, but it would be interesting in anyway. Aurora is a beautiful, delicate, feminine scent. Longevity and sillage is moderate though, half a day on my clothes. Do not be afraid of pepper; it's negligible here and notable at the base notes only. It's a worthy fragrance in Far Away line!

One of my favourites from the Far Away family and I have most of the new ones. It's very fresh, the lactonic note is not nauseating, it's clean but not as sharp as typical floral "clean girl" scents that smell like an intense laundry detergent. The yoghurt in notes is a bit sour, but doesn't smell like sweat, it adds to the lightweightness. It's very pleasant spring perfume, the only problem is that it doesn't last long, but for the price it's acceptable.

I do like this scent, I get vanilla and sweet floral, almost like the smell of star gazer lilies when open, also something a little powdery. There is one middle note , maybe the yogurt that is a little sharper and sourer that I’m not as keen on but for the other notes I’m there 💗. I am testing this alongside FA beyond to see which I prefer and will keep. Update: I have now sold this, I enjoyed it for a bit but then found a little clean -lined for me

super clean and put together almost like laundry detergent but more rich and warm from the vanilla and spices but I don’t really think it’s lactonic I actually think it’s more crisp and powdery. I love this one so much I think it’s definitely a clean girl scent I think it’s a scent that stands out and it definitely has the far away DNA in it. and how cute is this bottle it’s so beautiful ✨🤍🔮🫧

I have this as a sample. I agree that it smells a bit like baby wipes, but in a good way. I'm very sensitive to white floral scents, so I can smell that in this perfume a but more prominently than others. After a busy day in school (8 hours of sweating and school air) I can still smell it, after a few hours the vanilla / powdery notes really came out. It smells really clean and cute.

First off, spray lightly, this is a powerhouse, lasts forever. That being said, in the opening it has a slight burning rubber/plastic smell that calms down into a creamy white flower scent, very similar to Good Girl, rose is faint, vanilla shows up hours later. It’s nice, and a soft smelling scent IF you go light on the sprayer. It will be with you all day.

Obviously related to the original Far Away, from the first spray. Develops into something with more vanilla and powderiness than FA, plus a background of mild, sharp floral. Very long lasting. I like it, a comforting, cosy sort of fragrance.

on me this smells quite similar to Initio's Psychedelic Love. i dont get the lactonic notes at all. its a soury-clean-detergent scent with the same old Far Away base which i have been a fan of. a lot fresher than the original also.

I'll keep my review pretty short: it definitely has the original Far Away DNA, but in a more refined and wearable way (like someone said before). I like it!💜

This is exactly similar to the original Far Away except its lactonic fruity tones. Personally it is not for everybody. You need to try it before you buy it.

It is nice, but you must know, it is Far Away, it has the same background like the other Far Aways.

Far Away Aurora really appealed to me, maybe because I'm fascinated by the Aurora Borealis. The box is pretty, the bottle slightly less so, but still quite nice in graduated lilac with a cream bottle top. Upon first whiff, the perfume smells very floral-creamy. I rather liked this, despite having expected something akin to Thierry Mugler's Alien. When Aurora settled down; a strong resemblance to Far Away Infinity became evident (Infinity is screechy, whereas Aurora is softer and creamier). Some reference noted to the original Far Away is also present in its fuzzy softness. Overall, Aurora is warm, cosy and pleasant. Better than the Original, and Infinity because their coconut/marigold notes (respectively) are absent, although there's no denying there is a nod to each in this version. Far Away Aurora has enormous lasting power and great sillage; hence it's not shy; definitely good value for money.

I got a small sample only, so haven't been able to test this repeatedly. But it's just OK. I get the lemon, and it is very obviously related to the original Far Away, unlike some of the other flankers. But this has a little sourness to it. Is that the yoghurt? Personally I'd prefer creamy yoghurt rather than sour yoghurt. It's not unpleasant, but I'm a little disappointed as I expected this to be more lactonic. It's OK, not full bottle worthy for me.

This doesn’t smell like good girl nor the classic far away. This is like a continuation of infinity minus the waxy vanilla. There is something in this scent that is not easy to appreciate. Strong citrus, sour and powdery at the same time. This is like elizabeth arden white tea who went overboard on citrus accord. Not a safe blind buy. There is nothing ethereal on this scent as what the marketing suggest on the brochure.

the cedar and vetiver are a NO for me in this perfume.... if only they have used santal wood instead of these 2 ,it would have been way nicer. otherwise,it smells a bit masculine for my taste .the lactonic note is very prominent and i guess that is the one that makes me so obsessed with smelling my arm ( a lactonic note is also present in Far away rebel, and i absolutely love that perfume).

doesnt smell good to me. First 5 minutes, horrendous strong spicy-ish scent, later on fades into a softer slightly vanilla-y version of that. Dont smell any sweetness or floral notes whatsoever. Good for people who enjoy spicy, but also slight and vanilla-y scents, which is definitely not me.

I like it, it smells of washing powder however it's far too peppery, literally hurts your nose. has a strange unique quality i can't place

Smells very similar to far away beyond, don't get any lighter notes at all. Just woody vanilla but not smooth or nice. Very harsh and strong. Lasts and lasts which is unfortunate as it is just too much. Made me feel sick too, couldn't wait to wash it off it just got more nauseating as the day went on. I like Avon toiletries but their perfumes are awful, I can't believe people genuinely find them pleasant. Elizabeth Arden perfumes are cheap but a million times nicer and more wearable than the stuff pumped out by Avon.

I received my bottle this morning, and was looking forward to wearing it based on the notes listed. I sprayed it at around 1.30pm and got an alcoholic blast that it is identical to HAZ 90% Isopropyl Alcohol. It look 5 hours to fade leaving a very whiff of the original FA. Even now at 7.30pm it's very faint. I didn't get any water lily, rose, vanilla or powdery notes. I will give it a try next week to see if it smells any different. I'm so disappointed.

I dont really like the smell of this fragrance bcause its kinda have a sour yogurt smell like, like lemon/citrusy yogurt. People said that this fragrance smell like an old men person 😫 So i decided not to wear it to work and only spray it when i at home 🥲

It smells like a baby wipe used to clean yogurt splatters off the wall. Not my thing, unfortunately.

This is the exact smell of poundland fly and wasp killer spray and Muglers Alien perfume meshed together in some sort of unholy matrimony. Wow nothing like the original far away. Even the dry down makes me nauseous and its a rarity a perfume gives me a full blown migraine but this has managed it both times I dared test this. I love original far away, I loved far away fantasy, I even absolutely loved far away paradise and I dont mind a bit of far away glamour. But this is just grotesque. However I also find this to be the case with far away splendoria and both could also be unisex for male or female fly killing purposes.

FYI, if anyone’s comparing this to Good Girl - no, it smells nothing like it. To me, it smells like the original Far Away (you can tell it’s a FA scent immediately - I was wearing it the other day and someone asked me if I was wearing the original FA), with an added sweet, powdery note. I find FA smells a lot like synthetic baby powder mixed with flowers anyway, this also definitely has that almost powdery floral note. It does dry down to a sweeter note, more of a musky vanilla tone (and to be honest, vanilla and something vaguely fruity are all I get in terms of sweetness), if anything, I would call it FA with pear and vanilla notes thrown in to the mix. I’ll be honest. I don’t like the original FA. It’s instantly headache inducing and although instantly recognisable, it’s got this horrible powdery-musky ‘old lady’ perfume smell that makes me dry heave every time I smell it. When I rubbed the scented page for Aurora in the brochure, I got much more of the sweetness, much less of the original FA vibe. In reality it’s more the opposite way round. And it blasts you with that typical FA alcohol/chemical spray as soon as you spray it. Longevity is too long, sillage is too strong. Great if you like this, not so great if you don’t want the scent on your skin for too long. Of the FA family (I’m not including Rebel or Rebel and Diva in this, as in my opinion, they’re nothing like typical FA scents) the only one that stands out is Beyond.

I will be downvoted off here for this opinion but it is constantly reminding me of Calvin Klein Obsession and a little bit like Ciara by Revlon. I am not suggesting it’s a dupe for those or smells the same but if you like those sort of smells I think you should test this one do not blind but the bottle and box design look nothing like what it smells like. I love it and find it quite strong but I do like the perfumes I mentioned. I also like Dolce Gabbana the red cap one that was discontinued this is a little like that. It is not fruity or tropical like the Rihanna rebel perfumes it is more a dry Spicey smell.

Que perfume é esse, Brasil! Abre um frutal cítrico e transforma-se num doce leitoso, delicioso, com muita baunília, extremamente cremoso. Ótima fixação, alta projeção, pode ser considerado "bomba". Ao meu ver, é sim, um gourmand. Ele tem um "Q" de moça jovem, que ainda está a descobrir a vida, romântica e intensa. Diria que não é compartilhável, ideal para jovens de 15 a 27 anos, em climas amenos e menos sociais, pois é um perfume que exala certa sensualidade. Com certeza, será o preferido de muitos rapazes em suas namoradas.

Hello! This to my noses smells similar to CH Good girl! The opening is just like Good girl...that later dries down to smooth vanilla scent! Can totally be unisex! Nothing "Aurora" about it .... if you know what I mean... like, not like the princess Aurora... sweet and lovely, rather sharp and in demand for attention!

They claimed it to be a gourmand scent but it’s too spicy and nauseating for my sweet scent-loving ass, the bottle is pretty though.

I received 2 little samples of this perfume. My daughter and I both liked it. It's a vanilla powder scent. Great for spring days.

I bay today this aurora and trust me people this is the best of far away colection

Powdery lightly vanilla not much rose. Just some sweet powder but not bad.
