Far Away Bali

This has the feel of an Escada that I used to love, but haven't had in a long time. It is a reminder - NOT a duplicate. It has that fun Escada fruitiness that isn't too heavy, and isn't overbearing if worn with reasonable squirts. It does not in anyway feel like Far Away, which I have along with quite a few flankers. Far Away came out when Chopard Casmir did, and it has an over the top vanilla that covers the spicy brilliance that was Casmir [yes, I have Casmir, too], although it is like a giant vanilla hug that shows promise then smothers you. This is nice, light, floral, fruity, and not killing me. It is handling 60+% humidity in 85 degree F weather and I'm not dying from a migraine or regetting my accidentally extra squirt. The atomizer is drenching vs the atomizer on 'Love, Anne Rose Absolute' - which is a wonderful light spray. Anyhow - if you love Escada Moonbeam or even F Ferragamo, this is up your alley. Can you overspray? Probably. Will everyone like it? Probably not. It is very summery though, and it's not refreshing so much as bright and light which can be refreshing on a hot, humid day. Suitable for sultry weather but not a sultry scent. Will you feel sultry wearing it? Maybe? I have a weird body chemistry, there are fragrances that last forever on me. This one projects well but hasn't caused a migraine for myself or the other super-sensitive nose in the house. The cats aren't out off by the citrus. I have issues wearing Estee Lauder, and some poorly extracted patchouli is not my friend at all. There are certain white flowers that can turn on me - it's a hormone/chemistry issue. This has the potential to turn sour, I can feel it in my nose - but so far so good. If you are a fan of some of the older Escadas, and would like a nice, inexpensive splash of that fun, bubbly berry style fragrance, this is worth the try. This would not be considered a mature scent, this is not for those looking to make a bold impression. This is flirty, fun and light.

For me, this doesn't have your typical Avon DNA. This is a fun and flirty fragrance perfect for tropical vacations! I don't really detect any florals but for me the fruit is undeniable. This is a fun scent that is ideal for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. If you are looking for a gourmand or sophisticated scent - this isn't it. But if you are looking for something that makes you smile, feel happy, and enjoy somewhat sweet fruity scents (reminiscent of Escada LE summer scents) then you will be very pleased with this. It is also an excellent price point! I highly recommend it! I am an Avon Rep and most of the scents are just too heavy for my liking so I was happy with this purchase! I also really enjoy Live Out Loud which is reminiscent of Lancome's La Vie Este Belle line.

This is a soft, beautiful fragrance that does not disappoint! It is like summer in a bottle! I can't smell many fragrances after spraying them on me, but other people still can, so don't listen to those who say this fragrance isn't long-lasting. The projection and silliage are rather moderate, but I could smell it on my shirt the next day and it smelled wonderful. That should be a good indicator of what it smells like on you! It does not smell cheap or synthetic to my nose. It is definitely office-safe. I noticed that Avon no longer has this fragrance available to purchase at this time. I consider myself lucky to have it! I hope Avon will bring it back next year. It's definitely worth the money!

This was a real pleasant surprise. I purchased Bali from Avon at a special price. I haven't been feeling the love for the Far Away line after the disappointment of Moroccan Nights. I did end up loving Bali. On me it's actually more floral that I smell even though I do detect the fruitiness. This wore very well,and lasted over six hours on me. I did try mixing in some of BBW'S Bali Mango with Far Away Bali to give even more wear time and feminity. It mixed very well. A great Summertime fragrance cocktail.

Faraway Bali is more like a fruity floral instead of a white floral to me. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s easy to wear & pretty in hot weather. I’m not great at describing fragrances but Bali reminds me of Chance tendre, Viva la Juicy & Rockin Rio by Escada.... It’s lovely at its price point but I would have loved it more with coconut & more of the OG’s dna...

A love. Perfect for spring and summer. I have Chloe L’eau and been my fav for years, and Bali is in the same scent family ( not a dupe ). Recently discovered Bali from a fellow hiker who as it turned out is also an Avon lady. This perfume gives a lovely bright and clean scent trail. Clean, bright and fruity floral.

Pure fruity sparkling fun for warmer weather. Just a happy go lucky fragrance. Not getting any Amber or Musk on the bottom notes at all; a pleasant change. Love the electric pink bottle too. A pleasant blind purchase.

I’ll go first I guess! I never hear people talking about Avon perfumes (besides Avon reps) and I know they have some good ones, so I ordered 4 to try. For the price they were certainly worth trying! First impression: Packaging is stunning and feels like a designer presentation. Gorgeous pink bottle with a cute tassel. The atomizer component is nicer than on the two Haikus I got. However, the scent feels unfortunately generic - a sweet fruity floral with a bit of a tropical twist. I love tuberose and I do detect a bit of the salted tuberose Avon describes. It seems to be very weak. I will continue to test. It did layer well with some fruity pineapple body care I have but IMHO a good perfume should be able to stand on its own also. Important note: I am not an Avon representative.

Similar to Bath and Body Works “Sunshine Mimosa” and “Gingham Love” but slightly better and a little stronger. Sweet, Flirty, easy to wear. Nothing like the original Far Away. Unoriginal but wearable. Trendy summer fragrance typical of other sweet citrus scents. I get grapefruits and berries. Nice. Try if you are curious because they discontinue flankers quick and it layers great with the BBW products I mentioned. Price it good too. A fleeting season type of perfume. These sweet citrus “daytime” “go to the office but party with the girls in your nose” types of fragrances will eventually go out of style.

Is this groundbreaking? Not at all. But, it's a pleasant fruit-heavy floral in the Avon Far Away line. Avon perfumes are always a great price, so there's not much risk in purchasing this. The bulk of Avon branded perfumes can still get purchased for under $20.00. Also suitable for any age. Doesn't smell like there is a targeted age range for this. If you like perfumes on the sweeter side (but not overly sweet), give it a try.

So I had to purchase this just for the pretty pink bottle, and hoping also for the smell. Well I'm 1 out of 2. First off, the box is so pretty. You go Avon! The bottle is a very pretty pink, with a nice white top. Very pretty to have sitting out to show off. The juice however, is a downer. It smells similar to something else though I cant put a name to it. It honestly smells to me like you've been smoking, and tried to cover it with this. Maybe B&BW spray. As a tuberose lover I was so disappointed in this. All I smell is fruit. Doesn't last that long on me 2 hours at the most, but my skin drinks perfume, so don't go by that. If you like fruit, fruit, and more fruit this is it. I just don't smell the other ingredients. No flowers, no musk, nothing but fruit. I'm happy with the pretty box, and bottle. Probably will sit on shelf. For the price though, it's a steal if your not happy with it like me.

Bali doesn't share the DNA of the Far Away line, which can be a plus or a drawback depending on personal taste. To me, Bali leans more toward something you'd expect from Cascada or a typical celebrity fruity fragrance—playful, youthful, and not meant to be taken too seriously.

I’d agree it is pretty generic... but I’m a sucker for the Far Away line & a pretty pink bottle... maybe I’ll layer it with Bvgari Splendida Tuberose

Very feminine and sweet. Reminds of me a Ralph Lauren type scent.

A sweet fruity perfume, i feel like it has passionfruit.
