Far Away Beyond

I don't really find a big difference between this one and the classic Far Away. This one is a bit deeper and more intense, but otherwise, I find them very similar. I love both and re-purchase them often in fall and winter. Far Away is my winter "If you are not sure what you want to wear today, wear this". It's not too provocative, doesn't have a very powerful or unique presence, but at the same time it's not bland and boring either. Avon has different package sizes and I have noticed from experience that the smaller the package, the more intense the perfume. The 30 ml are best, the 50 ml are average, and I won't make the mistake of buying a 100ml again - very watered down. This is a warm, cozy, delicious spicy vanilla with a hint of dried fruit or chocolate. A little musky, somewhat powdery but in a deep and subtle way. The sandalwood is undetectable to me which is a good thing - I usually avoid it because it's a very rough and "manly" smell to me. No sharp notes here. Gets lots of compliments from men, my partner is no exception - he loves it. The drydown is a bit synthetic which is why I like to re-apply it. Longevity is excellent for this price - 4-6 hours on my skin, on my hair and clothes it lingers until next day. Sillage is moderate, noticeable but not overpowering. Good choice for a date on a cold afternoon or evening. Can be an everyday perfume for work too, if not oversprayed. Great value for the money.

Far Away Beyond doesn't display anything like a fruit note, besides a sprinkling of sugar water-like pear in the opening. There is orange blossom, rose and freesia entangled with the jasmine, so we do get a nod to the original Far Away in this new flanker. I also think I get a hint of iris in the mix, too. Fortunately for me, the orange blossom is much more toned down here compared to the original version - I really like orange blossom but it is too intense in Far Away, to the point of smothering the other scent notes and being a migraine trigger. There is a pinch of patchouli and a dark woody note in the base, intertwined with the vanilla. A mildly smoky & spicy effect, with the cocooning warmth of a not-too-sweet creamy vanilla. I don't get why this was released in summer in the UK - as another reviewer has said, it's more of a autumn/winter type fragrance. This is another winner in the Far Away line of fragrances for me; great longevity and aura, at a very reasonable price. As I mentioned above, I'm not a particular fan of the original Far Away edp as it is too strong & powdery on me. However I've enjoyed most of the flankers I've tried and/or owned, and can't wait for more from the line.

Someone in a review below described it as something akin to the "Ferrero Rocher" sweet smell, I'd say that he hit the nail on the head with that one. This is a very yummy and delicious deep and rich vanilla with some spices in it, I have quite a few fragrances in my collection but nothing smells like this, since I tried it in a store I fell in love and bought it with a great discount (14.99 Euros). I had the bright idea of wearing it in a summer evening (four days ago or so), the scent resisted the heat quite well, it stayed on me for 6 hours or so, after the first one it was very intimate but I'd say it's normal since with sweat and heat the alcohol evaporates much faster than usual, I'm pretty sure this will perform greatly in autumn and winter, which are the seasons this is best suited for. To my nose it is 100% unisex, there is no explicit "femininity" in it and some male targeted fragrances are way sweeter and obnoxious than this one (UltraMale I see you). Solid solid buy, like crazy solid buy.

I'm in love with this perfume. The first time I tried it, though, it seemed vintage and old-lady-like, I didn't like it at all. However, I decided to try it again a few times more and it blew my mind. It's an amazing blend of vainilla and wood, I've never smelt anything like this before. So far, it's the only far away flanker that I love (though I haven't tried much: splendoria, beyond the moon and the original far away). I recommend buying the travel size first and trying it in winter (it doesn't smell the same if it's too hot or humid).

Got the full set with a full 50ml, a 10ml travel, and body lotion. I love the scent itself, I pick up soft pear whiffs with wood, vanilla, and musk. It's nice, not too sweet. Lasts a lot too, it's a perfume and on clothes I pick up fresh vanilla even the day after. On the skin it stays on for 4 hours before having to reapply to freshen it up. Reminds me in a way of the old Far away Bella I had in high school, but this one is much more mature and overall more beautiful. Great price, and you can reapply generously without feeling guilty!

The opening is quite strong ,i usually hold my breath when I spray but it sets beautifully on my skin after wards😊 Its a compliment getter and lasts for days on my clothes....I LOVE loveee it ,its my signature sent right now💃💃 Fast forward to 3 months later...... I cldnt finish the bottle, left it halfway ,I got bored of the scent . And also I cldnt really make out the notes ,today its sweet, the next its bitter😝. I have had my experience with this one .Unfortunately ,im not purchasing another bottle

I can call it as the most unisex Far Away flanker. It is a very rich fragrance which is a creamy, spicy vanilla. The sillage is enormous. If this is important for you, people will recognize your smell. Brands give us a comfort about the power of a perfume. That's why you may underestimate Avon, because of its affordable price. However, as it has been stated several times in the comment section, the FA Beyond is as legendary as many expensive designer and niche brands.

A qualidade desse perfume é indiscutível pelo preço que é cobrado. É uma delícia demais. Acho ele um pouco atalcado, como a maioria da linha Far aways, porém o amadeirado dele deixa tudo tão gostoso. Eu amo a pera nesse perfume porque traz uma refrescância. A fixação é INCRÍVEL e a projeção é muito boa. Gente, as vezes tá na promoção por 49 reais ou na Europa você encontra por 10 euros. VALE SUPER A PENA!

I am an Avon rep based in the UK so have had this for about a month now. It officially launches here from 30 June. First spray immediately reminds me of JPG la belle but as the hours pass this is more subdued where JPG la belle is very fruity. Avon Far Away Beyond is a fabulous vanilla gourmand and lasts 8+ hours on two sprays. Amazing value for money

This has a gorgeous fresh pear opening, very fresh citrus tones also, you get hit with the vanilla and musk soon after. Definitely can smell some woody tones but hard to pinpoint as they get a bit amalgamated, If you love vanilla and pear this is a great fragrance. On the skin the pear notes don't last too long but still a gorgeous scent.

Well what a Gem! Warm,Smokey,woody,sweet,ethereal! Everything I Love in a perfume. Could almost be unisex,almost.This is the kind of scent that will hang in the air long after you’ve left. I love the vanilla-coffee-cacao duo very much and I had bought the 10mL mini version of this to try it. I like it!! I just do not enjoy that cheap bitterness that lingers after most of AVON's perfumes/scents. Overall, not too expensive in Turkey so I can get the original size if I keep enjoying it

Love the fruity initial punch from this baby! There's a definite undercurrent of the original Far Away, but it lurks in the background and lets the rest of the notes do their thing. Soft, fruity, woody and delicately warm. Despite its gentleness, has fairly decent lasting power.

I love this scent for winter and autumn. It's very warm and sweet, with great longevity - I still smell it at the end of the workday, so ~8 hours. On me, the pear and vanilla dominate, and after the drydown it smells very much like Paris Corner Khair Confection.

I have a lot of expensive perfumes in my collection, this cheapy from Avon holds its own against them, it is a beautiful chocolatey and powdery fragrance. It lasts well, is quite strong and I just love it

I agree with the opinion that Far Away Beyond is very similar to Red Temptation Winter by Zara. The same vanilla, spicy and spicy atmosphere, only without the hint of burnt sugar and the hospital atmosphere. If Red Temptation Winter got rid of these characteristic notes, we would get Far Away Beyond, only Avon's perfumes have weaker parameters. They are not bad, but the Zarowy release is exceptionally good in this respect. Far Away Beyond also has a bit of a Nouveau Genre patchouli vibe from Yves Rocher. Although there is no patchouli here, the combination of cocoa and truffle gives the atmosphere of dry chocolate like Nouveau Genre. The cedar adds a bit of spiciness and makes this fragrance even slightly unisex. It is sweet, spicy, warm and woody. I don't really like the pear flavor, which is quite noticeable at the beginning. Over time, white flowers also emerge more strongly, turning the composition from unisex to a more feminine side. Although the composition has features in common with Nouveau Genre and Red Temptation Winter, which I love, Far Away Beyond did not captivate me that much. You can feel that it is worse than both of them, but for the price of about 4 pints it is quite a good scent. Probably one of the most interesting from the Far Away series. The parameters are quite good, as befits this series, although they are not as loud and long-lasting perfumes as the classic version. The scent lasted about 7 hours on the skin, and the projection was subdued, very average, but sufficient. One more association comes to mind when I smell this scent a little longer. It smells a bit like Ferrero Rocher chocolate. 7/10

Warm, inviting and cosy. I definitely see the La Belle inspiration here, but this one is less heavy on the syrupy pear and focuses more on the jasmine with a warming vanilla base. This is like a more mature, less sweet La Belle. If you find that one a little too much or too sexy for casual daytime wear, then Far Away Beyond would be a great office alternative at a decent price. For some reason, this perfume also reminds me a little of Givenchy's Live Irrésistible Délicieuse in the dry down. There is a nutty, almond note that I can sense that isn't listed. Overall, this is a nice perfume. Classy and inviting. Brown knitted sweater, Burberry scarf and a silk skirt sort of perfume. I do think it's been released in the wrong season, as this to me is an autumn/winter scent. Do I like it enough to purchase a full bottle? Maybe. I'll update this review if I ever bite the bullet.

Es un perfume que en la entrada se siente cálido, amaderado, un poco cítrico (la pera). La vainilla la siento leve y licorosa. Con el pasar del tiempo, lo que queda en la piel y en la ropa es un aroma más amanerado y con notas mucho más cítricas. Cuando pasan las horas, no tiene mucho rastro. Yo usaba el Soft Musk Vainilla, también de Avon, y con entrar a un lugar o pasar por un lugar la gente me decía que dejaba el camino de perfume y el aroma a vainilla se sentía bastante. Con el Far Away Beyond, siento que no sucede eso, sólo una persona me dijo que lo olía (y estaba muy cerca a mí), de resto no se siente. En mí dura muy poco, una o dos horas si mucho. Es un perfume muy agradable, pero esos son mis contras.

On a smelling strip, this came across as a very strong vanilla. Vanilla often feels a bit cheap and teenage to me (I suspect due to an overdose of vanilla body spray in my teens) so I was a little wary of applying it to skin. However, on skin it feels like a different beast: the vanilla comes on strong but tapers off sharply. The pear can be noticed early on but is indistinguishable from the vanilla later. A few hours in, it's simmered down to a soft fuzzy warmth, like stroking a kitten. The sweetness is just within a level I can handle (although it definitely is sweet, and different people have different tolerances). I can see this becoming a bit of a comfort spray.

I was not keen on the initial blast of this perfume. I found the chocolate came through first and then I was hit with pepper. But I found the pepper sharp and quite overwhelming. Luckily it settles fairly quickly and dries down into a soft, warm, spicy vanilla. It definitely has a masculine edge to it. At least for me. But not so much that it ruins it. (I don't like masculine scents). There's still that original far away undertone which luckily I've been a fan of since i was a little girl. Overall a nice flanker. Not my favourite of the far away flankers but one that I will definitely keep in use.

This was a blind buy for me and it's a good one. It does not smell cheap. To me the vanilla and woody notes are the most noticeable. The pear is in the very opening and goes away quickly. It is also slightly spicy and has hints of the cacao/chocolate truffle. I would not describe it as lactonic or floral despite having these notes. Definitely a cozy and warm scent, good for fall and winter. It's not super heavy so you can definitely wear it during the day unless the weather is hot. Longevity and projection are average and it's definitely worth it for the cheap price. The bottle is also nice.

Far Away Beyond is one more excellent fragrance in Far Away line. The same sweety and delicious. Pear and bergamot covered with pepper for warming up, and a little bit vanilla at the background. Longevity and sillage is average, I have to reapply during the day. The bottle is very gorgeous. In general, the entire Far Away line is very successful and pleasant. Far Away Beyond is sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter, sometimes it has too much hot pepper, sometimes it's very soft and tender - very interesting fragrance of high quality.

the drydown smells plasticky but is not incomfortable , it is a heavy dark gourmand perfume . It is similar to La nuit tresor A LA FOLIE but Folie is sweeter ,and more complex, also the patchouli and amber notes are heavier there . Far Away Beyond is the darker sister of the A la Folie . I am surprised in a pleasant way about this perfume .

I can’t really pick out the notes individually, it smells very cohesive to me. To be honest, it feels a bit linear and simpler than what the listed notes might suggest. But it’s definitely not bad. I get a hint of cocoa, pear, and warm woods. It’s comforting and cozy, the kind of scent you just want to keep smelling.

I have trialled a few Avon scents recently and this was actually my fave. I get chocolate Woody benzoin with just a slightly green note. Warm and yummy, could actually be a unisex I think and lasted a good 8 hours on my skin although projection not big. Might pick up a small bottle if I see a bargain!

when first sprayed it comes on quite strong, i notice the pink pepper firstly but after it's had some time to sit on the skin/clothing - the cream and vanilla is the forefront with hints of the chocolate truffle. it's warm and enjoyable.

I cannot get enough of It! Hidden gem, smells heavenly! The most dominant notes are Vanilla and Pear. This scent is a bit sour. Projection is very good- only 2 sprays are enough. Perfect for Autumn and Winter.

A bit sharp in the opening but i did not ever think an Avon fragrance could turn this complex, on me after a few h turns in to chocolate cigar , it is kinda sexy , night club ish

Soft, creamy, sweet and smells better on fabric. A Chocolate scent done right. My mum said this smells like “me” so I had to get it. I feel like the pen spray is better.

Pear vanilla woody, for everyday use it's okay. Not long lasting and nothing spectacular. I prefer Infinity but I can't find it in Europe I guess it's discontinued...

Woody vanilla with a touch of pear 🍐🪵🍬 I’m not a fan of vanilla but I can stand this one.

I keep getting suckered in by reviews that say cheap stuff smells great. This is another one. If your main requirement in a perfume is that it punches everyone within 6 feet of you directly in the face for hours on end, then yes this does that. It is extremely strong and does last a long time, but unfortunately it's not smooth or well blended. The top notes are loud and harsh and a bit obnoxious. The drydown is slightly more pleasant with the vanilla and sandalwood but still too much for me. However it is cheap, so if loud and strong is your thing then you can have it for a very small cost.

I think that with a light hand at applying it, this could easily work as an everyday signature scent. It's intense, sweet and comforting. It smells clean, not really addictive but perhaps more as a comfort smell for personal enjoyment. Performs like a much more expensive designer fragrance (it lasts for days on clothes). After a while using it, I realised I didn't really like the chocolatey-truffle note on it. But it is a nice, cosy option for the fall and winter.

Really strong and a bit too much on me. It works great as a going-out scent but definitely not a daytime vibe for me. I'm realizing more and more that I prefer something that sticks a little closer to the skin, and I need to keep that in mind before jumping on something just because it's cheap and sounds yummy. So! If you're like me, maybe a skip, but if you love a loud, dark, woody vanilla, this may be your girl.

Vanilla, coupled with its concentration in the form of perfume rather than eau de perfume, sounded like a dream. It is a fragrance worth exploring—warm, slightly heavier in terms of vanilla sweetness, resting intimately close to the skin, not overpowering. I detect this scent primarily on clothing; if its concentration were higher, it would be among my favorites.

A mouth-watering scent. The original DNA is in the background. It is well-bodied yet has a touch of lightness to it. This is a luscious edible scent, it doesn't remind me of body mist or an overly sweet/synthetic vanilla scent. Overall pleasant likable fragrance. Edit: This has that designer DNA, I pick up hints of Carolina Hererra good girl, and JPG la belle.

Strong, but linear, chocolate scent. Starts as gourmand feminine vanilla and light pepper and turns into a sour masculine chocolate. Very long lasting. As much as I loved the 'Ferrero Rocher' scent it evoked, the overwhelming masculine chocolate note that stays on and on and on, made it a not favorite of mine, sadly.

This is sharp and weak at the same time. At first it was just sharp and spicy, like there was black pepper in this. Then after a few minutes I can smell a stale cacao scent and within 5 minutes it is all gone. My skin eats this up in no time. My least favorite out of the Far away line.

Doesn't smell very nice on me for some reason. Gave to a friend. Smelt better on the catalogue page. It smells lovely on my friend though, I think it just doesn't suit. The memory of the first time i wore it probably doesn't help either.

It opens with a sweet, warm vanilla that I liked at first, but after a while it gets a bit heavy. If you like strong sweet scents you’ll enjoy it, but for me it felt too much for daily use.

The most beautiful, yummy Madagascar vanilla ice-cream, served on a wooden bowl with a vase of white flowers next to it. So cozy and powdery...a dream, really

To me it seems I am wearing some sweet male perfume, it is nice, but not feminine, I think I will give it to my husband.

Smells like plastic Barbie dolls, plastique vanilla but in a super interesting way

I blind bought a sampler bottle due to the positive reviews and the amazing scent profile. I was so intrigued by the pear, chocolate and vanilla. Unfortunately I'm finding it difficult to like. The pear stands out like a sour (or in this case sweet) thumb. It's pear with a bit of cocoa powder and vanilla sprinkled on it. Even in the dry down the pear doesn't want to leave the centre stage. She is screaming for attention with every whiff. The pear is also very sweet, slightly overcooked. It is not a bad perfume. It is more of a perfume for people, who love very fruity and sweet perfumes. I like some sweet perfumes, but I have a limit of how much sweetness I can take in a perfume before I become sick of it. I don't think that it smells cheap, I also don't think that it smells outdated. I also don't think that it smells so offensive that I would have to leave the room when someone wears it. I simply think that its not for me personally, but if you love a sweet, fruity perfume with a wintery chocolate and vanilla backdrop, then this will be perfect for you. It would be great for autumn and winter due to the chocolate and vanilla base. Imagine it like a warm, well cooked sweet pear with chocolate and vanilla sauce. But more pear than sauce.
