This is sweet and berry scent and interesting. It smell like the top and middle notes of good girl from Carolina but is more sweet fruity dark berry side. Is not a dupe, just similar concept and category, good girl lean toward spice concept and they are more complex hidden notes than far away glamour. Far away glamour note are more simple to understand. This first spray will need sometimes as the alcohol are very sharp and the top note have this sharp grapefruit and pepper and might not comfortable for your nose. Please give them some times. But when they start to dry down the sharpness of grapefruit start to fed away. The dry sweet vanilla and dark berries scent smell amazing and sexy. Is a night out scent. Projectivity and longevity of this perfume is top quality, this surprise me as the price and value are very high. Is a safe blind buy and I am satisfied.

Delicious fragrance by Avon! I can smell blackcurrant + orange blossom covered with dense vanilla. Base accord for me is caramel, although it is not listed here. The scent is very luxurious. No one will guess that this is Avon. It's very worthy fragrance in Far Away line. It's delicious sweetness with light citrus notes. The longevity and sillage is excellent. I can smell it the most part of the day Glamour is suitable for any weather. It's very warm in winter and comfortable to wear in summer. P.S. Glamour is similar to Good Girl by Carolina Herrera. Not a hundred percent similarity, but I can smell the same notes. The black bottle is beautiful, like a dark chocolate which I can smell in this fragrance as well. I wear it with pleasure. It's a worthy price/quality fragrance!

I got a sample of this, when it was launched and didn't like it at first. It was summer and the vanilla was too overpowering. Then, I got a full size as a gift and was not sure if I wanted to keep it or not, but I gave it a try in colder temperature and found it much better than the first test. It develops after few hours into an nice blend of woods, musk and patchouli. I don't know why, but I also detect a nice dusty rose in the drydown. Don't actually get the blackcurrant, though. Started liking it more and more. I prefer this to other flankers from the Far Away range. It is a deeper, darker and yes, glamorous version of the original. Due to my experience I wouldn't wear it in summer. Longevity is very good, not cloying nor extremely sweet.

Received this is my order today. Love the new-shape bottle - very inspiring and will add a dramatic touch to any dressing table. Quite woodsy, dry-smelling with subtle fruits, moss and a dash of intrigue and leather. It's almost unisex but not quite. A confident, assertive fragrance that is not over-stated as it subtly flirts with the senses. There's a definite resemblance to Far Away Infinity but I prefer this one because it has a dark edge. Not a sweet, candyfloss scent. Definitely designed for a woman, as oppose to a teenager or very young lady. A very good fragrance and great value for money.

First impression after the first spritz...wow! It smells so luxurious and expensive! I can't believe I paid less than 10 euro for this! I can't smell any pepper (yet), thank God! It's juicy, fruity, creamy, sweet. In a word...delicious! Excellent longevity and decent sillage for this price. I also have Avon Far Away Beyond, and that one is also wonderful. I am considering getting Rebel, Splendoria and Rebel & Diva too.

Far Away Glamour opens with a tiny drop of grapefruit; I wish that this note had a stronger presence, as I can't always separate it. The blackcurrant is also pretty quiet on me and quickly becomes enmeshed with the orange blossom, which is fast to develop. Far Away Glamour is the flanker that reminds me of the original Far Away the most, thanks to the intense note of orange blossom and jasmine, that is mixed with a soft vanilla & orris. I also pick up on a curious 'soap' element in the background. The sandalwood develops a nutty undertone as the floral blend softens - I'm not sure if the undertone is coconut milk, or another nut mingling with the long note of sandalwood. There is also something that seems to me the most like anise - is this the combination of orris, patchouli, black Musk and vanilla? The longevity & aura for Far Away Glamour is impressive for the price [like everything else in the Far Away line that I've tried]; it wears for a complete working day (eight to nine hours) and carries about a foot for several of those hours. I think that Far Away Glamour is ultimately nice. There's absolutely wrong with it for me and I wear it happily, however there is nothing that makes it stand out above my personal favourites in the line (Rebel & Beyond), so I don't think of it as something that you must try ASAP. At some point in the future, if I see it on a good offer I'd consider rebuying it again as it is very pleasant, but admittedly I'll be more likely to rebuy one of the other flankers I mentioned.

FA-Glamour starts with a beautiful black currant note. The tanginess is emphasized by a mild grapefruit note and sweetened by vanilla. The orris renders it soft and buttery without delving into powder territory. It gets a little boozy later on but the peppery patchouli grounds it and gives it depth without overtaking the scene. The black musk adds to the warmth and mysteriousness without being too animalic or skanky. For once the black currant here lacks that weird cassis accent (I find it interesting many a time, but the lack of it is welcome sometimes 😂) Another beautiful piece from the FA line, despite the fact I don’t think it should be a flanker for the OG FA. It’s just a marketing strategy as the line has become a successful selling point. Whether you love the OG FA with passion or hate it from your gut, we all agree it has an unforgettable, instantly recognizable scent. FA-Glamour, while very good on its own, tends to be more forgettable. There are so many berry-choulis out there, but if you don’t want to pay the price of Mon Paris or black Si Intense, FA-Glamour will be a good cost effective choice in that genre, without smelling cheap.

I was testing some Avon perfumes in my local Rossmann the other day and when I was sniffing Far Away Glamour I was instantly reminded of my old perfume I used to have in college which celebrated the magic year of 2000 🪄✨🎆 it was a flanker of the Chanson by Coty called Chanson Magique and it was filled with small silver stars sparkle in the bottle like a snow globe ✨ and with dark blue cap. It was floral with some sweetness and citrus and unfortunately the scent had some very sharp chemical note which ruined the scent for me. I loved the bottle though. Now I found the exact same sharp chemical note in this Avon flanker as well, for the first time again after 26 years and testing thousands of perfumes. I didn't buy the Glamour flanker but it was nice to be set back to my college years of 2000 once again !! ✨😊

Wow this is a nice date night perfume for this price! I got a sample and I will upgrade to a full bottle. This is one of the darker, sexier perfumes from the Far away line. I don't see much in common with the OG. The black currant and grapefruit is really youthful and seductive. I must say this smells also perfume-y, so if you want a scent that is more photorealistic or skin like, look somewhere else. This has also a touch of shampoo-yness. Like you are preparing for your first date and use your nice shampoo to seduce the guy. I love Glamour for this and yes, it is not the most unique fragrance but for this price it is a great choice. Longevity was about 4 hours which is great for an Avon perfume.

Oh , in the beginning i disliked it because it smells like a classy grandma and it resembled the original Far Away ( which i dislikeeee ) BUT this one is addictive because of the blackcurrant note that i notice in there . The orange blossom is like a liquor , it makes me hypnotised .The patchouli is intensive in this perfume , and the musky notes create a "round" perfume . It was a blind buy but i like it very much , it s right on the edge of being a perfume for grandma but it still got that fruity vibe which caters to a younger clientelle as well .

My review is based on Avon catalog tester. Far Way Glamour was now introduced in this part of the world, in the latest catalog. I am not a fan of the Far Away line, but this seems to be an exception. It smells like the bottles looks like: dark, mysterious, dry, even gloomy! Blackcurrant bud, Madagascar vanilla and dark musk are the main notes according to Avon. Very interesting and different. A bit unisex type. I probably buy a travel size first, to see if I crave more of this mysterious scent.

Just re ordered after finding my first bottle and using that one up. The prices of perfumes I’ve wanted to buy and try have become out of reach for me. Far away Glamour is complex and interesting enough to replace my Winter scents Hypnotic Poison and Opium and gives the same vibe if not the exact smell. Winter, security and cosiness from the black currant which is not overpowering and the clever blending of violet and patchouli. It doesn’t smell cheap either.

Crowd pleaser perfume. Sweet, fruity, floral, can easily be daywear or nightwear. No offensive chemical smell, not overly gourmand or overly anything really. Very nice perfume, I think anyone can pull this off and it doesn't smell like the typical commercial smells (which tend to be sweeter / more chemical.) Good one Avon, something that probably many many people can enjoy. Light florals make this more airy.

A pleasant, warm scent with a hint of glamour, which I associate with blackcurrant. Rather uncomplicated and easy to wear. A good gift for a young woman. It feels much closer to the skin than the traditional Far Away, and for me, it works best on fabric.

A very safe blind buy, I can smell the blackcurrant, orange blossom and vanilla. I really like this scent and it is great for work, especially in the cold months. It doesn’t last too long but for the price point, I really cannot complain!

Very delicate but not long lasting, more winter , I think it should be worn in winter to prolong longevity

To me, this flanker is the most similar with the original (beyond the Far Away Gold version). It is basically the original but instead of peach you have this black current /berry vibe and orris in the bottom, but the DNA is still kinda the same. Longevity is not crazy good, but it is decent/average. This is a more serious version of Far Away. The bottle might induce you into thinking it is a night time party fragrance, but for me, it smells quite serious and is more of a work fragrance. However, it is not really my type of scent so I will end up giving this to someone else or selling it. 5.5/10

This is good. I have a few from the line. The original is the only one I really don’t like, but this is definitely my favorite of them so far. If I had never smelled any of the scents from Avon this would give just that impression. Avon. Old movies and commercials, creamy hairspray, lipstick and makeup in a stylish woman’s leather bag. I think the performance and the name "GLAMOUR" are suitable for this fragrance. Depth and Longevity could be better, but hey; this is Avon. I like this a lot.

There is nothing particularly distinctive about this perfume. It opens with grapefruit and then settles into something sweeter, especially on the skin. A few comments earlier, someone mentioned that it smells like a date night perfume and it definitely does. It’s a classic choice for a date night, and you really can’t go wrong with it. However, the longevity is quite poor. This perfume is a classic, but it doesn’t have a "wow" factor and it doesn’t need to, especially at this price.

This smells like a classy grandma. Granted, I have a pretty classy grandma and she used to smell like this when I was a kid. Still remember her coming back home from work on a cold winter evening, with her black fur coat, smelling of flowers and spices. This scent brought back memories, but... it's definitely not for me. My grandma, though, might be interested in it.

Far Away is okay, but it feels more suited for mature women. I have nostalgia for Avon perfumes since my mom and grandma wore them, so I kind of like it. The musky finish is nice, but overall, it’s too heavy and grandma-ish for me

An interesting perfume. I don't know if I like it or not. It's powdery, slightly spicy. I do not consider it a sweet perfume. It has that smell that I imagined that those vintage perfume bottles would have.

This is a very rich and dark perfume, it should have been named Poison or something like that. I like to give character to perfumes so I imagine that goddess Persephone would wear this :) It is a heavy perfume and it absolutely not for summer or you will suffocate everyone around you, even on a warmer autumn weather can be too much, it is perfect for cold winter weather - day or night, it project a very luxurious smell. I would say this is a perfume for a woman that is a nonchalant seducer, women who are dominant. It is a mature perfume, best for women over 30, (I'm 25 and I find it too serious for me). I'm not a expert for notes but the vanilla and patchouli are pretty strong, it's not sweet or sugary, it's creamy and musky.. I've had the original Far Away and this has nothing to do with it, not a slight resemblance. I would never guess that it is Avon. My advice don't blind buy it. You cannot be indifferent towards this one, you will either love it or hate it.

First I had a sample and I don't know why, but I really liked it and I purchased an 10ml travel spray. Now... the performance is mediocre, you really have to overspray to get to smell the fragrance and I knew that. I don't know why I liked it first, it smells different on skin than on clothes, but either way, it's exactly as the opening of Good girl from Carolina Herrera (without developing in something else), and that one was my worst blind buy (I hate the opening so much!). It smells exactly like soap bubbles.

This smells just like all the other Far Away & Rare whatever AVON perfumes out there. It smells very mature in a, grandma is going to love this, way. I was really hoping for something great because I do actually love a lot of AVON’s perfumes but some of these are very...I don’t how to describe them. But they are all the same to my nose.

Believe it or not, this is one of the fragrances that I have been most excited to receive in recent times. It was a gift from some wonderful friends of our family who, through the kind and genuine gesture of wanting to give me a fragrance to bring me a little joy, have made the comforting hug they were giving me even warmer. Right now I've been using it continuously for four days. Far Away Glamour has nothing to do with the original perfume for me, other than one thing, the presence of the vanilla note. Both perfumes are very far apart, frankly. Far Away Glamour is more reminiscent of the dark versions of Elizabeth Arden 5ta Avenida or Roberto Cavalli, fused with a bit of Good Girl, which it doesn't really resemble but I understand that its density, sweetness and darkness make people mention it, to me it also comes to mind. And what does it smell like? Well, it is a dense and dark perfume with a synthetic and sweet touch, quite linear with the exception that the fruit is more predominant at the beginning (Black currants) and the vanilla at the end. To my nose it smells like a blackcurrant syrup mixed with orange blossoms, with a background of woods and vanilla. It is a short distance perfume, it has a soft sillage but a duration on my skin that is not bad at all, about 8-9 hours. Do I like the first Far Away more than this flanker? Actually yes, it is a perfume that both my mother and I have used a lot and I have been loving it for a long time. But this version, in addition to being very particular, is already generating a beautiful olfactory memory in my mind. It still seems to me that, in general, Avon has a modest perfumery with a good quality-price ratio for everyday use and, sometimes, quite unique aromas with their own personality. Scent 7/10 Duration 8.5/10 Sillage 6/10 Quality/price 8/10 Versatility 7/10 Packaging 7/10 Would I buy again? Perhaps, to receive that sincere hug again whenever I use it.

A dream here! I'm trying to compose myself to continue writing [...] Directly from AVON Portugal to the whole world, and our dear Brazil! Simply the continuity of a beautiful find within designer perfumery, which leaves nothing to be desired compared to exclusive and/or niche perfumeries. In fact, this fragrance opens bringing a lot of not-so-distant olfactory memories, but I won't try to remember which ones they are specifically, it doesn't make sense... I just know that right after opening it radiates a very lush, dewy bouquet of flowers with an incredible fruity sweetness, bringing a dense tonality, as if it were a heavenly nectar, purely living and natural addictive. After about 4 hours of time, the fragrance becomes pungent, with dirty lines, but at the same time tender, due to the orange blossoms which, when in excess, easily manage to refer to this indole sensation, but nothing that cannot be tolerated. Right here, the engagement between Vanilla (rustic) and Musk is noticeable; something sublime unfolds here. The Vanilla density and condensation here is so serious and difficult, that I can't even remotely attribute it to the gourmand memories that we routinely find in the fragrances of this segment. Musk is sensual, daring, with an earthy, humid, warm base and a bellicose action in the face of Vanilla, which you only have to try on your skin to understand what this well-crafted creation, called Far Away Glamour, really is! It fixes a life, projects a city and overrides all other perfumes in the environment; use sparingly!

This is a beautiful scent, and doesn't smell overwhelming like the original FA. This feels more refined. It's very well blended and no particular note screams out. On spraying I notice the blackcurrant, then the grapefruit which thankfully dosnt hang around too long (as on me it smells of cat pee). I can definitely smell the black musk and patchouli. There is vanilla, but it's a soft vanilla. Although I think it's an evening scent, I've found myself reaching for the body lotion and the perfume in the morning. Its scent lingers all day. The drydown is lovely, it reminds me of The Body Shop Black Musk but longer lasting. Edit 1; I've worn this all day in the damp cooler air in the UK, and FA Glamour smells different from wearing it in the heat. It really is beautiful. If you like Imari Elixir, or Mesmirize Black I'm sure you will like this.

I WAS A BIG SURPRISE. THE BLACK PEPPER, BLACK CURRANT AT THE OPENING AND THE NON-SHARPY GRAPEFRUIT COMPOSITION IS PERFECT. ABSOLUTELY DON'T TIRE THE FIRST IMPRESSION. ORRIS ROOT, WHICH CARRIES VIOLET, BLACK PEPPER AND RASPBERRY NOTES IN THE HEART OF THE PERFUME, ADVESES ORANGE FLOWER AND VANILLA, SOFT, AND AN EXTRAORDINARY AIR. POWDERLY AND SOME SHARP BUT IT'S NEVER BAD. DARK FLORAL, SOME EXOTIC MUSKY AND A BRILLANT FRAGRANCE IN AVON'S FAR AWAY SERIES, AFTER 2007 OUTLET FAR AWAY PARADISE, IT WAS THE MOST FAVORITE KIND. IT REMINDS ME A BİT OF FAR AWAY INFINITY. RATE 9/10

If you are searching for a super affordable perfume gift, this is a good option. This is 10-12 euros for 50 ml, and actually a proper, well-balanced perfume. I get a sweet blackcurrant and vanilla with a bit of warmth, and it lasts a couple of hours. Really easy to wear and suits all ages, including younger teens. My favourite from this line is Far Away Beyond the Moon, which I feel is a bit more unique. This one is darker though, if that is your preference.

It surely has the same structure as far away infinity but without that sticky sweet ocean water that irritates me. Im sure its still in glamour but nicely blended but this time its much more deeper like a mixture of black opium but less sweet and rihanna reb’l fleur without the coconut. There is also something minty in the top notes while its salty powdery patchouli coffee in the drydown.

It opens with blackcurrant, then dries down to just patchouli and musk. The dry-down is similar to Armaf's Club de Nuit for women. Also smells very similar to Avon's Luck. Not picking this up because I already own CDN, and the dry-down of CDN has more than just patchouli.

This is THE best Avon fragrance. Second would be Maxima. This one, works day and night, it’s seductive but not too ‘dark’. Airy, feminine, fresh. I think everyone should give it a try, it’s very unlikely you would not enjoy it. Lasting power 2 hours max on me.

nothing new or groundbreaking but a very good flanker for Far Away... you can detect the original Far Away DNA in like 40% but it is smoothened into a mature and sexy fruity-vanilla scent. Not my cup of tea, but appreciate it

This is a nice inexpensive powdery floral with a slight touch of spice. Lasts a long time. I find it to be very pleasant. Avon really does have quite a few lovely scents.
