Floralique

I thought I'd never see this again! Why does Fragrantica catalog fragrances that have been discontinued? It's so frustrating when one would like to have the fragrance in their possession again! I remember my mother wore this Avon perfume in the 90's (circa 1996 or 1997). At that time my mother was branching out of Avon and trying different perfumes like Lancôme's Tresor Lady Stetson etc but still didn't give up Avon altogether. The Avon lady introduced her to this scent. The bottle was really very pretty. I remember taking whiffs of this scent. It was mother's fragrance and she wouldn't let me borrow it. I was in junior high. I distinctly recall the pineapple opening. very realistic and sweet a tad boozy like a pineapple liquor. Avon scents at that time always began with strong aldehydes so this was aldehydes then pineapple. Once the fruitiness dissipated it was a white floral fragrance. I remember the gardenia being the strongest of the floral accords. There was also jasmine lily of the valley and violet. I detected mostly gardenia followed by jasmine and violet. The last phase of the fragrance was pure vanilla. This was a casual day time scent very nice but my mother wore it at parties. It was very beautiful on her.
