Ok so,I absolutely love the idea behind this perfume concept. A love story in the 19th century. Fragrances inspired by a couples first kiss/love letters,etc. I think Avon did amazing with the concept. On to packaging,the box is simple ,yet elegant. The bottle is smooth,great shape and absolutely beautiful! From the cap,to the font,to the colors,etc. Now,for the fragrance. This smells very,very real. No artificial notes! This feels so natural,and not synthetic in anyway. You definitely smell all the notes listed. But,this fragrance is also very very light. It's green, watery,and almost soapy. This is definitely a perfect springtime fragrance. I honestly can't imagine it working in any other season. But with it being so light,it's very non offensive. This is a very safe fragrance,especially for the office job,etc. It's close to the skin and doesn't project all that well, so you could really over spray and I really don't think it would annoy or upset anyone around you. This smells like when you're taking a walk on a warm spring day. You had just passed some flowers and a gentle breeze sweeps through. It just ever so slightly pushes the smell to you. A light floral,mixed with something almost juicy,but still earthy. It's very gentle. With all this being said,it's a simple, but a lovley fragrance. Now will this make a statement? Absolutely not. Will it be memorable? Nah,I don't think so. Is it sexy? Definitely a No. Is it a date time fragrance? No. Is it a special occasion fragrance? Nooo. Will this get you compliments? I can't say that it will. Is it a young fragrance? Possibly? But I honestly think the older generation would love this,or the people who just prefer simple things. I'm not one who likes light fragrances. I like to make a statement,so that might be why I don't reach for things like this. And it might be why I have a love/hate relationship with this So far,I can't compare this to anything else I've smelled. Not that a dupe doesn't exist. I just personally can't compare this to another fragrance ATM. And lastly,let's talk about price. I found this at my local goodwill for under five dollars. It's currently 40+ on places like ebay. I'm not quite sure if Amazon has this fragrance. If you can't find it for 20 or less than it's truely not worth the purchase. It doesn't last long enough,or project enough to justify a 40+ plus price tag. That's all for now. I can't think of anything else to put here lol.

I have a sample of this (official sample with the perfume name printed on it in black lettering), but I'm so confused because when I spray it all I get is a bright burst of citrus, like pure mandarin orange or something but then I look at these notes and there's NO citrus listed? I'm almost wondering if they filled this bottle with the wrong perfume. So strange. I mean, it smells fine, but just not at all like the notes suggest.

I got this for $3 at a yard sale and was like why not sometimes avon has bops, but this wasn’t a bop. I actually don’t hate the hawthorn in this, I think it was probably the best part, but what i do hate is the hawthorn mixed with pear. The combo creates almost artificial fresh smell that reminds me of nail polish remover or a home cleaning product. I do get quite a bit of dew, but the patchouli is barely there. Not for me at all. This starts out so pretty right out of the bottle, but on my skin after 5-10 mins smells exactly like proofing bread yeast. I had to scrub it off.
